FurinkazenReverse layout perhaps. Regular layout a no.
Reverse layout is horrible

FurinkazenRegular layout is highly over rated. Also there's only 1 line through turn 1. Start with a proper chicane and hairpin combo.
cnd01I'm pretty sure there's only 1 preferred line through turn 1 in every track.

DaxCobraSpeak for yourself.
I could name loads off of the top of my head.
Example: Tsukuba, you can take the karting line, brake late and stay out wide then cut in about 3/4 of the way around, sacrificing entry speed for exit speed, or you can cut in normally and hug the apex, using oversteer to point you out of the exit. Both can be highly affective.
If you were trying to drive tsukuba, would you drive both lines? Notice one line is a karting line. Different cars might take different lines through the same corner. Each car has a particular line that it preferred.
DaxCobraIt's called "The Karting Line" because it is the main line used by go karts, not because only karts use it.
Both lines are just as effective as the other. (Although, the normal line in a go kart is slower because of the lack of torque.)
I am just saying Furi is right in the fact there is only one line through there without going into the grass/wall which makes overtaking impossibru.
Is it a rule that every turn 1 has to be able for people to pass?
Furinkazen16 TOCA drivers don't give ya a load of room a lot of the time. Trial Reverse starts with a chicane, widens, nice wide downhill right. Also get the final turn right or you get stacked into the wall.
I would think we could handle it. Of we can handle Madrid, we can definitely handle trial mountain.
FurinkazenMadrid. Just nooo.... Same for Tsukuba and Eiger (which was considered in reverse form)
If trial mountain isn't an option then why was autumn ring chosen for this season?
FurinkazenTrial Mountain FORWARD layout is not. Autumn Ring was more like a classic touring car track.
There's parts of autumn ring that shouldn't be taken 2 wide.
Jahgee1124Well, that happens on real tracks too.
EDIT: Furi'd , also nice Pacific Rim avatar
FurinkazenAnother point. Next season see's a freeing up of turbo restrictions. Low, Mid, and High RPM turbo's will be permitted. Mid RPM turbo's offer more peak torque in most cars than High RPM turbo's.
So feasibly we could run different turbos depending on the track, right?
Correct. Unless your in a car like Audi / Infiniti which is N/A.
