If they're done, why not post them now?
Done 3 of the 4 tables. Also minds not on the job fully after only just having got home after 16 hours out.

There's definitely NO WAY to police it since you can change your abs in the RA menu (during a race or free run) without altering what the other are seeing when they check your car specs (tires, TCS, ABS, etc) in the lounge.~All driving aids except ABS at 1 are disallowed.~
I know about RA functions, I use them myself. What you have said is nothing new.
That doesn't change the fact that you can change your ABS higher than 1 without being spotted.
When you can't police something, allow it is the smartest way to go...

You can police it though. In the pits when everyone is blued up, I can scroll over all the names to see what tires and driving aids are enabled, and what number they are on.
I'm sorry if this isn't clear enough for you. There's definitely NO WAY to police it since you can change your abs in the RA menu (during a race or free run) without altering what the other are seeing when they check your car specs (tires, TCS, ABS, etc) in the lounge.
I mean that you can set your ABS to 1 and when you enter the track, you can set it to 10 and the guys in the room will see that your ABS is set to 1.
So in my humble opinion, this rule of "only ABS 1 is allowed" shouldn't be. It should be "ABS allowed" (or not).
EDIT: And I'm sorry to still teach you guys things about GT5 after over 2 years...
paulmac2k9Cnd you can enter on Abs 1 and that will stay on your name. Even if you use RA tp up the Abs.
Others have said this allready though.
twistedfireworkAs soon as the race starts, anyone can switch to ABS 10 and it is impossible to tell.
Yes. Rules are rules though. Although furi logic is used, we must tolerate it
I heard that James (Twissy) has been DQ'd for this reason

I did some testing with ORCA and if you're in a room with more than one person, you can "trick" the ABS/TC/ASM to whatever you want (And look like something else). Not sure about the 2.12 update.
The bit I find strange is that the error was spotted before each of the 3 races, yet it wasn't mentioned to Twissy.

TwissyYep I noticed that too... funny they didn't tell me at Cape Ring.. nice ploy to get rid of the competition me thinks.. but rules are rules aren't they.. cant really be bothered with it.
Then it's still able to be policed with a simple post race blue up.
Basically, it's ok to cheat and use ABS @ 10 (not that it gives you an advantage), as long as you are sneaky and alter it with the RA function once the race has started?
