Yeah I know furi has done an amazing job but someone can start all over again with a s1 when this is over

I have decided to leave IRT and join Prower Performance as Myles needs a team mate, I love the Audi, I now despise the Pug, Scanny could join the major team and it's the last season of TOCA and I'd quite like to get a strong finish by the end of it all. Many thanks to the IRT lads for the support of my first GTP team! Send Tom and Scanny PM, been great fun with you lads!

Repost incase Furi didn't read it ;)

It is Furi’s series after all and if he wanted it to continue I’m sure he would have announced a season 9. Plus theres plenty of other touring car series on GTP.

IRT withdraw from TOCA
Following Rob Adams's departure from the team earlier this evening, IRT has decided to withdraw their factory team from TOCA for good. The decision came after only one factory spec car has competed in one round this season (Monza) and scored mediocre results. A lack of testing hampered the entire outfit, as well as the two cars not being prepared until the second round where, as aforementioned only one car raced due to Brooks being unavailable for the weekend. A press release was posted earlier today.

"It's with a heavy heart that I have come to this decision. After a promising debut season in TOCA7, things looked good for T8CA but an ill-fated move to the Peugeot really put us on the back-foot. The cars during pre-season testing felt good, but a few revisions needed to be made meaning that the cars were not ready until the second round. I was unavailable for Monza, meaning that Rob was the only driver competing for the weekend after Geoff faced similar problems. The organisation for IRT this season has not been anywhere near the standard I wished, which is all my fault. I'm very disappointed that it's come to this, but I wish Rob the best for the future. I could've possibly continued as an independent or with Geoff as the second driver in the factory team but due to a motorcycle accident that I was involved in at the weekend, I have very bad damage to my right shoulder and have been suffering migraines since the evening of the accident, meaning that I would possibly be missing two-three rounds of T8CA. Putting me out of contention for the season. All that remains for me to do is thank Rob, Geoff and Furi once more."

Well... I miss a day of checking on the thread and some of the biggest news ever comes out. T8CA as the final season and IRT bowing out. Come on lads, let's make the rest of this season a good ending to a great series.

🤬 now I'm tearing up...

You replicate Sunshine.co.uk well then.. (O'Neil allways crys :P)

Well, my schedule is getting clutrered again. I'm going to be at my boss's daughters wedding this Saturday, so I will miss yet another round.

Been great working with you mate! Good luck with your shoulder and career, hopefully see you on the track again 👍

Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone,
Prevent the dog from barking with a juicy bone,
Silence the pianos and with muffled drum
Bring out the coffin, let the mourners come.

Let aeroplanes circle moaning overhead
Scribbling on the sky the message TOCA is Dead,
Put crepe bows round the white necks of the public doves,
Let the traffic policemen wear black cotton gloves.

It was Furi's North, South, East and West,
His working week and his Sunday rest,
His noon, his midnight, his talk, his song;
We thought that TOCA would last for ever: We where wrong.

The stars are not wanted now: put out every one;
Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun;
Pour away the ocean and sweep up the wood.
For nothing now can ever come to any good
