Location: A hospital in Zermatt, Switzerland
Hiroyuki and Nigel just arrived, and they unknowingly passed by the shocked and torn Auguste who just got in his car and drove away.
Hiroyuki asks the condition of Dennis to the doctor, but they too hear the same grim news. The two just sit down, speechless.
Nigel: "Oh no.... what are we going to tell to Mr. Rob and his family?"
Hiroyuki: "No one wants to bear the bad news, Nigel. No one does. But we have to deliver it."
Nigel: "Death is inevitable, indeed. Now it makes sense why humans have to live each day like it's their last."
Hiroyuki: "Such is the case of Dennis. He lived his life filled with optimism. That is why Rob loves him so much. If you are going to make a comparison, their brotherhood is similar to how Takuma and Takanori."
Nigel: "But now... how do we break the news?"
Hiroyuki: "Don't worry, I'm mentally prepared for this. But I'm sure Dennis' team is contacting his mother. And look, here they are."
They see Dennis' crew talking among themselves, also devastated at what happened to their up-and-coming racing superstar. One of them is holding a phone, talking to Amelia Hatch.

The devastating news eventually reached to the Hatch family. If there's anyone who is most affected, it's not Amelia, but Rob.
As a mother, it is very heartbreaking to see her child disappear, and outlive him. But she has to accept it eventually, though not now of course.
She welcomes the guests who come to see the wake. Rob, meanwhile, is just sitting at the front, just staring at his brother's coffin. His wife Jenny looks at him with concern. Takuma's family then have arrived, with Takuma hugging Jenny and then sitting beside Rob.
Takuma: "Rob... I've heard what happened. I'm very very sorry."
Jenny: "I'm worried so much about him. He didn't utter a single word ever since this morning. He didn't even eat at all."
Owen and Maria have arrived as well, though they sit on a pew across.
Maria: "I've never seen Rob that devastated. That just shows how much he loves his brother. You know, I'm an only child in my family... how does it feel being the little brother, Owen?"
Owen: "You're being picked on, sometimes bullied, but despite all that a big brother shows a strong, genuine love that cannot be seen in the first glance."
Owen then stands up and goes at Rob's side.
Owen: "Rob... we're all here for you. Let me know if you want to talk."
Finally, Dennis' ex-girlfriend Rebecca Crewe attends. She directly goes to the coffin. And after a brief look, she sheds tears. She can never have the chance to make up to him, and it is one wound that would hardly heal.

Two days later, it is now the time to put Dennis in his final resting place. After a brief eulogy by Dennis' best friend from his team, everyone gathers as the coffin is slowly being buried. They throw flowers as they witness the last moments with him.
When a lot has left the cemetery, only the family and the Dream Alliance remain. Rob and Jenny are on the grave. And suddenly...
...Rob broke down. One cannot just bottle up all the feelings. Jenny just looks back at Takuma with concern.
Takuma: "I can hear Rob wailing. But even the strongest of all men has to cry. Rob is simply human as the rest of us."
Takanori: "This will be the toughest time Rob has faced, for sure."
The wife proceeds to hug her husband.
After the burial, Rob and Jenny decided to accompany Amelia in her home and stay for dinner. While the wife and her mother-in-law are having a sad conversation in the kitchen, Rob goes to Dennis' garage.
It looks so empty... but one car stands alone, seemingly mourning at the demise of its faithful partner.
Rob clenches his fists, and is in tears once again.
Rob: "You total idiot... you should have brought this instead."

Time: 9 am, Monday
Rob is back to work, though still in grief as he displays a rather gloomy look in the office while working. Mark then turns around his chair.
Mark: "I've heard what happened. Condolences."
Mark throws in the usual Rubik's Cube, but Rob didn't even bother to look and catch it. The cube just rolls on the floor.
Mark: "Oops... wrong timing."
Then their superior passes by, and calls on Rob to follow him to his room.
Conrad: "Agent Hatch, please follow me."
Rob complies, and as they enter the room, he retains his usual composure. After all, one has to be professional.
Conrad: "I've heard what happened to your little brother, and I'm pretty sure you know who did this. After some investigation by the FIA, the organization decided to stop any upcoming road race tournaments that are bound to happen next month, and reconsider the regulations after the incident.
As of this moment, Auguste Amadieu is in hiding. But for now...
...I'm temporarily getting you off this case. I do not want you harboring feelings of revenge and do unnecessary amounts of damage. You are to stay in your post until further notice as Mark will be the resuming where you left off. Understand?"
Rob: "Understood, sir."
Conrad: "I can see that you are still in grief. You have to cool off for a while. You can now go back to your desk."
Rob: "Yes sir."
Rob leaves the room, and unknowingly for Conrad...
...Rob's face has now filled with murderous intent, and he is clenching his fists. Plus, thanks to his intelligence gathering skills, he has already known the location of Kaz's hideout in Germany before Mark does, where the remaining chief engineers are taken captive.
Something ugly is about to commence...

Location: Rob's home, London
Time: 10 am, the next day
Rob is alone in the house for the moment as his wife got out to buy some groceries. He takes advantage of the situation by gathering all of his high-grade ammunition and explosives and laying them all first on the bed. He loads his trusty .45 caliber handgun, and to cap it off, he includes his sniper rifle on his arsenal.
With all set, he places them all in a large bag, including the disassembled sniper rifle. He zips it and puts it aside.
Then he packs his clothing for his trip. It was all easy for him. And then he puts on his black, fingerless leather gloves. For the final touch, he dons his long black trench coat, to compliment his all-black theme, from his undershirt, pants, and even his boots.
With everything packed, he carries the two bags, and just as he is about to pass by the living room, Jenny arrives with her groceries.
Jenny: "Where are you going?"
Of course, Rob has to come up with a lie...
Rob: "I'm on a mission in Germany. I shall stay there for about a week."
In a rush to get out, he simply kisses Jenny and heads outside to place his bags in his McLaren 675 LT.
Jenny: "You're going to drive all the way there?"
Rob: "Of course. You know how I love driving around Europe, right?"
Jenny: "Oh... I see. Then take care, okay?"
Rob starts up the car and leaves. But for Jenny, she feels something is not right...
On the way to the Eurotunnel Shuttle, Rob's roaring McLaren 675 LT either amazes or terrifies bystanders as it rockets through the streets.
It could be a glorious sight for Supercar Spotters who post their sightings in YouTube, especially that they just saw a rare supercar pass by. However...
...little do they know that it's being driven by man filled with a raging resolve. Firming his grip on the steering wheel, Rob is totally dedicated to end everything.
Rob: "Kazunori Yamauchi, from this point on...
"...I shall not make you sleep soundly. Prepare for your worst nightmare."
