Same ^

I need to win me some Lotto tonight.

Ah, the Shamal. Somehow even more wonderful than the Ghibli.

Rear diffuser that is molded in seems a bit..odd. It protrudes a little too much, but I can dig it.

Same. Though with that diffuser. Having no spoiler makes it even more odd. Have a proper spoiler, not ricey like, and I'm driving that.

Now, my turn for the Chasers.

Now, for something unique. Could be questionable but, To me, it looks...quite...impressive. This..used to be a MR-S. Say hello, to the Squalo R. Doesn't look like a MR-S anymore but..I dig it.

No, but the front is similar, I already said the car. It is a Mitsubishi Mirage. You could call it a poor man's version of the Lancer, if you like. However, the car's FWD, unlike all usual Lancer's that are 4WD.

Lancers are FWD, unless it's the Evolution.

Isn't that a lancer?

Actually yes, dependent upon where you're from, but the Mirage was the Lancer variant in some places and even called the Lancer. For example the 4th and 5th gen Mirage was the Lancer in Australia. The Mirage was the basic spec lancer in the U.S. but just carried the Mirage name, but was still considered a Lancer. It's not the "poor man's" Lancer either. Considering the poor man's lancer is a lancer to begin with. I think what people forget at times, is the Lancer has a variant called the Evo, which then gets misconstrued as the Lancer.

Anyways you're right it is a Lancer, at least that gen.

Well most non-Evo Lancers. The first two Lancer generations were RWD, and some of the later lesser Lancers came with a 4WD option in some markets (I'm not quite sure which, but there are few on a local used car site), although those are quite rare.

You're correct. I wasn't thinking outside of the U.S. I believe the only Lancer(here) that has had that is the most recent gen, with the RalliArt trim.

Wait, are they? Like that Lancer in NFSU1? That lancer was no Evo either....

Interesting, good to know.

Same chassis. We never got that generation of the Lancer but we did get the Mirage.

Ah ok, where I'm come from they badged 2nd-5th gen as Mitsubishi Lancer while the more famous brother is known as Lancer Evolution.

I don't think we have the Mirage (hatchback) sold here but I'm assuming Malaysia's Proton sold the mirage as Proton Satria.
