They're kinda basically the same car if I remember correctly, only you guys down under got it with smalls blocks, whereas our brazilian friends only got the big straight-6. There's a video of one of those with the stock six turbocharged to the moon, and since @LeoStrop is from Brazil -or so it sez- I thought it might be that one car.

even so, I think you're right, those fender gills look to be exclusive of the Monaro.

Is a Monaro. I wish they were the same! But yeah, it's quite similar in some parts:

And you are correct , we only have four cylinder, or the 4.1L straight-6.

Humm i'm not so sure what turbocharged opala you are referring, this one is the fastest:

no, the one I remember in the video was a tough street car roaming the streets, sounded nasty.

EDIT: Holy hell 7.7s is freaking quick for an old turbo 6. Very cool.

They all sound nasty when treated the right way. :)

I love the sound and looks of this one.

Yeah, they are improving every year, drag racing is actually pretty strong here. Check out that channel from the 7.7 video.

I might of posted on the odd modified thread but, I feel like this is tasteful enough. odd part well, you'll see, as other people I foudn this call this to be ruined...

Yes, what you see is right. Porsche hubcaps/wheels on a beemer. But what shocks me, how well it fits that, plus,t eh color. Jesus H. Christ the color choice. That is on point.

I'm going to build something for the sole purpose of looking cool on social media..."
Stupid.

First of all, that's a Plymouth truck, I don't see them everyday on the internet and this one seems to retain the steel look from airplanes back then. Second, speaking of theam, it has one of those. Which a few say that's questionable, sure, good for you but - you gotta admit. This thing is flipping mental.

It reminds me of a certain otehr steel looking car with a massive engine which I love. No other than the Tank Car. Also known as the..Blastolene Special. One of Jay Leno's.

Anyway, onto more proper cars.

Whatever floats your boat.

He has a point, which is why triple rear wing time attack cars and others are not tasteful. Because tasteful as said above isn't the same as insane...quite the opposite. Some would say (many I know) that tasteful is a moderate take and even subtle. A Cessna engine sitting between you and a thin firewall is not.
