I honestly think the KA is a perfect engine to be mounted into such a wonderful corner cruncher.

FYI the KA engine, more specifically the K8-DE DOHC 24V is the one from the Mazda MX-3, a 1.8L V6 generating 140bhp at a fascinating 9000rpm and a wonderful power & toruqe band, while also being very lightweight.
It's not as light as one would hope, due to the "dead space" so prevalent in V engines. You've also got mounts to consider since, if I'm not mistaken, that motor is hung from higher up as is typical in FWD applications. Of course engine width is a concern...where's the steering shaft going to go in such a narrow car? Want a Mazda 1.8? Why not a BP-ZE? It's available in an FR application (there's one nestled happily in my Miata back at the house) and you can even get away with utilizing bits from a Suzuki (it was used in a sporty rendition of Japan's version of our Esteem and your Baleno--the Cultus GT) to make it appear to belong.

Oh hell yes.

I have taken this all into account you know, almost needless to say.

I've been working also on racing cars for quite some time now, and soon I'll finally be racing those racing cars.

I want to avoid using rotary power too, as they are very juicy on fuel (just kinda talking to myself here)

Although a rotary would be an amazing adaptation for such a car right? I suppose due to the cars low weight, I'd get just as good miles as a usual Otto engine.

Hmmm... rotary vs Otto...

BTW the Miata motor was a good idea too thanks! :D 👍

I shall admit despite the complexity of inserting the K8-DE, I want it almost solely for it's beautiful sound, I have a V6 fetish lol

Back to topic, here is the video and exhaust system of the engine I want in my soon to be Cappuccino:

That VW would be a million times better with white walls, not red walls. But still, pretty good.

I like the mod choice of this guy.

I love that first Subaru, but I wasn't sure if you could really call it 'tasteful', felt more purposeful so I put it in the Imports thread. The MR2 and MKIV Supra on the other hand are perfect examples of what should be in this thread. The Bozu Supra is awesome but not tasteful, not in the slightest.

IMO. 👍

Subaru 1: On the limit of what I would call tasteful, maybe slightly more not tasteful, great car anyway.

Subaru 2: Not what I would call tasteful, I don't like the wheels.

MR2: Best car in the post, possibly the best car on this page yet.

Supra 1: No.

Supra 2: Okay, but not the greatest thing ever.
