I considered it but I stand by its placement here, as it depicts a vintage racer from an unusual mark modified with the engine from a later model made by the same company. And those carbs...

I always figured a tastefully modified car would be complete but I guess you're right.

I am now realising these literally are all just photos I've shared on Facebook.

Last tasteful mod I saw was the E36 someone posted, and before that...I couldn't tell you to be honest. Those F-types were quite nice I'll just go back to drinking my lemonade and see if it levels out again.

Ferrari Testa Rossa (Early production)

List of mods:
  1. Lower sections painted (normally black plastic)
  2. Gruppe M intake system (owner admits it doesn't help performance but looks great)
  3. Engine bay lined in gold foil (provided by a Formula 1 team the owner worked for)
  4. Straight-through Larini pipes (LOUD)

Maybe the sound. everything else can hardly be counted as something. Specially to post in this thread. "look I painted my black plastic body color". Who cares.

Whether you specifically care or not does not make any difference to him having a right to post it in this thread, and at least it's actually tasteful unlike half the stuff from the last 5 pages.

Oh listen (read) to you  of course he has the right to post whatever the heck he wants, as much as I have the right to say it's irrelevant.

I think the sound justifies it. Everything else is gravy to me, because I have a soft spot for the TR. blame Kavinsky...

A fair point, we'll leave it there shall we?

Really loving that paint (note very subtle stripe where beltline trim once was).
Interested in the black one to the left, but I do like that pale yellow colour.

UUuuuunnngghh I don't know. On one side I love all the stuffd done to it, the dechroming, loosing the side vent window, and stuff. On the other, I don't think I could stand having an Oval with modern front fenders in it. Gotta have my big lamps in there. Otherwise this thing rocks, love the low-back buckets 👍

Didn't think anyone would pick up on it being an oval. But yeah, it irked me as well.

Still, the car's very well done. Wonder what's lurking under the lid with those meats out back.

I know my VWs, was deep into the (extensive as you might imagine) Mexico VW scene for a good while, so I immediately pick up what I'm seeing... most of the times  I also like the 5 spokes, they're not the typical Empi knock-offs, they look more like American Racings O_o
