I'll be honest, I really don't like the stock wheels on the F-Type R.

But...HRE's.

Yeah, it's a beautiful car, yet not one of the rim options is good at all.

It's a forum. People will express their own opinions on any vehicle posted within a 'Tasteful Modifications' if they think it isn't 'tasteful'. There are a multitude of other picture threads where anything goes pretty much.
I understand. It's just that there is a difference between "i don't think that is tasteful, here is what I like." (ex: these recent posts on the F Type) and "who would drive that p.o.s., you are a horrible person for liking that, and here's no example that my taste is better, go kill yourself."

Dunno. Just think this unnecessary hate is pointless. But you are right, it's a forum, what good is anything I say?

This is the thing that puzzles me most when it comes to car culture. Why do people find it necessary to have race built engines with huge turbos and full stripped out interior with racing seats, and then proceed to slam it onto the ground, stretch the tyres and put unlogical camber on it? Just seems... pointless.

That's something I also question. When you lower a car that much while putting too much camber on it, it becomes nearly useless for daily driving and even more useless for the race track; which makes all of those performance mods absolutely pointless.

You can throw in pushing the tires out past the limits of the fenders so that any wheel travel results in damage. As far as I'm concerned, the word 'stance' has come to mean 'stupid.'

What I can't stand is that the stupid camber cars are the definition of stance, now. Stance itself is a word used to describe how a car is sitting, not a car style. Same thing goes for people that think 'JDM' is a style, because it has wings, winglets and TE37s...

Neither. I was just saying how I hate how people think 'JDM' is a style due to it having TE37s, a wing and other stuff like that.

Absolutely, and a mess at that. The SrCky Designs signature should be enough to know.

d..damn it...Well, signatre maybe yeah but in some stance pictures you see sigs too, if you know what I mean. But looked too real.

Is it time for me to buy new glasses?

Nah. To find the stuff that gives away a chop, specially if it's a really good one, you need to have done chops yourself and have a general grasp of how/why light and reflections work on cars.
