That's a fast lap with a pit!!
Don't worry too much about the lead team just keep nailin those 8:50's mate.

Yeah we can't catch them, their car is simply too fast... Oh and to make it even worse they only chose it two days back, crazy stuff.

We will keep going no doubt, Dan & I still not slept either but we're throwing down good times & Luke is smashing it, really consistent.

We are still 2nd and I think the lead team might be taking it easy as the relentless lapping appears to have abated, for now anyway

Team Enduro got disconnected. Race was relaunched. Rolling start of positions when the race was relaunched. Race Control say that lap count has been noted.

And just as I've written that, Team Enduro has been disconnected again....

Just caught up with this thread after a decent 8 hours sleep (Sorry!!!:))

Really impressed with what you guys are doing. Fantastic effort!

I'm off to bed now. sucks about the disconnections. I see from the stream it's been restarted, but what a pain. Oh well, good luck for the remainder.

Thanks again everyone, we all really appreciate your support :)

4 hours left.....You can still do it...Racing for 20 hours is an achievement right there....Good luck...👍

Plus Dan & I have not slept... well, we had a few micro sleeps at the wheel but we got over that haha

We're currently holding 2nd & barring disaster we will finish there, we just gotta stay on track & connected & we should be right as we are a few laps up on 3rd :)

Luke is currently driving, he's nailing it too but we are just not fast enough to match the Ford GT of the RingBandits, they've raced a near perfect race!

Well done Team GHH !👍 Have been watching the live feed on and off during the day with the sound of the Cars up at the Mount in the Bathurst 12 hr roaring in the background. Looks like the GT will be just to good, on the Day ! shame there's no Safety Cars they certainly bring the field back together. So Good night and Congrats Team, look forward to racing with you guy's some time.

It's been an amazing experience!

2 hours to go!!!!

39 hours and 37 minutes without sleep:crazy:

Great job guys, way to hang in there all the way. I believe ghh may have been the only team without a disconnection ;)

Congrats guys - amazing job 👍

Can't believe you did it all without sleep. An insane approach but it all seems to have paid off in the end

Thanks everyone :)

So we came 2nd!!! Thanks to everyone for your insane support! Special epic thanks to the CRAP drivers who supported us not just during the race but in the months leading up to it :)

I put those CRAP guys through countless full damage sessions in the lead up, including two enduro's, and they all took to it so well and I can honestly say that our group ran more laps of the ring in the last few months than any sane man should  Our dedicated drivers showed me the true meaning of support, thanks so much to you all

Thanks also to wurks. You guys stuck with this project through thick & thin and you have my utmost respect for running this event. Despite your amazing effort plenty of people sent hate your way, mainly because of the stream, but those same people didn't think to tell you how much of an amazing job you've done so I say ignore them because for every one negative person there's 10 of us who really appreciate what you've done.

Lastly, but by no means leastly, huge thanks to my teammates Dan110024 (Dan) & Sir Schnell (Luke) who both drove like demons! Lads, your dedication to the cause has been huge and I'll never forget it, we will start training for next year soon hahaha

This will officially be the last time I stay awake for 45 hours straight haha

BRING ON NEXT YEAR

Why 45 hours?

Woke up at 8am on the Saturday in Aus and race started 2am Sunday morning and I didn't sleep prior, I was then awake for the duration of the race and an hour and a half after it finished :dunce:

Hey, you're alive. Stonking effort all three of you. Probably Mrs Pride too?

Pity about the glitch for you on the last lap or so. Where on the track did it happen?

Cheers bro!

Yes Mrs Pride was outstanding! She stayed at her friends place the first night but came back sun afternoon and made us all ice coffee and chopped up fruit for us, she rocks :)

The glitch, curse it, happened on the last lap on the GP circuit. The track disappeared entirely leaving only a green sheen of greeny sheeny stuff... I ended up smashing in to a wall and getting heavy damage which allowed Team RB to lap us a 3rd time which I would have avoided otherwise

I watched a bit of this online. I was interested to show who it all went with drop outs (dissconnects etc and lag)
a massive shame about the no shows (boo!)

we are looking to try somethink like this (maybe just do 12hr)
Drop me a line if you fancy it ;)

Team GHH were the only team to not get disconnected :)

It would really depend mate on the enduro mate, I would love to be involved but I may be pretty busy with a few things in 2012 so I don't know if I can commit.

Once you have more details let me know and I'll confirm if I can do it 👍

I think something like a 1000km of Spa would be a nice race to run, you'd only need a couple of drivers in a team to do that. Maybe 6 hours or so :)

Man I can't stop thinking about the 'ring... after driving it for 24 hours all I can think of doing us getting straight back on it!
