No actual word from anyone but I will talk to DFT-PIG or whatever his name is about his interest in drifting. Good drifter who has been in a couple seshes now

Haha you don't have to ask them only if they express interest in the team, and I'm guessing some photos are coming along soon?

Yep. After I finish 007 on the wii I'll get the rest of the pics done

Can anybody guess what drift car I've just finished setting up?

Ding, Ding, Ding... We have a winner. The premium S2000 is quite the drift rig 👍

Good for touge as well. I'll have to fix mine up for drifting as well. Also, as I type I am taking the last couple pictures from whatever time I took them.

Joining random team tryouts for 🤬's and giggles and to see how they run stuff.
This tryout I just had, I had 2 practise laps then I was to line up and follow this guy for 3 laps of Tsukuba. I was in my S13 and he was in an S15. Was a good couple of laps, managed to slip past him for a few corners but being underpowered, he quickly regained the lead but I managed to stay right on his bumper.
Its interesting to see the skill that heads these teams and runs these tryouts and to get an idea on how good you are yourself against randoms.

When I do that, rarely do I find any good drifters

I love going into tryout rooms and drifting far better than the y0bb0 holding the room and trying to make a team. Too many 1 person teams trying to get off the ground. Either join a team or get some good drifting mates on your team.

Haha true that, especially when you drift really good and then ask you to join, but alas I break the news to them

About 6 months ago I was showing a guy my drifting just so he could tell me how good I was (apparently I had great line on Tsukuba but I needed a bit more angle) but then i told him I was apart of this team.

^ I applaud.

I should go into a tryout room on Deep Forest and pull out a reverse entry on the first corner

Yes, some good avatar material right there

Oh yeah JR, maybe decrease the shutter speed in some photos cause sometime it looks like we're not even moving.

So, in other news today, I was trundling around the mount in my usual Ron when I noticed some cars and people in pit lane, which is normally closed, so as I'm riding past, I'm having a look at what's going on when suddenly a wild Toyota 86 appears. I'm like zomg!! They look so much better in real life. So I'm pretty keen on hanging at the mount in case they do a lap with it...

That would be so good to se a GT86 in the flesh. As of now I haven't yet (just seen the FT-86 II at the Melbourne international car show).

It is a gorgeous car in the flesh and it is my first time seeing one... Another thing that struck me as odd was a guy was walking around conrod on the grassy areas and the gravel at the chase with a satellite on his back as if he were measuring something...

GT6, PD at it again

Its actually Maptek. 3D laser scanning.. A company that helps with the mining industry a fair ammount at Mount Panorama... Riiiight?

And I just went out there again just in time to see the LED Lit front end of the 86 rolling out of the garage and down pit lane. The LED's really make it look alot better IMO.

3D scanning for Mount Panorama?

Hmmm.

Finally watching Initial D for first time. SOOO GOOD! As an anime it is very good. It just sprung into my mind to watch it after watching "Death note" in class today. I thought that Nakazato's R32 looked mint so I tuned my own one for 500 pp touge. First lap I was 3 seconds of the record held by my golf (1:33). I tuned the LSD and power distribution and got a 1:29. I beat the record by 4 seconds. Wow. If I try hard enough I would be able to crack 1:27. I'm more of an R33 man but I was very impressed by the R32's capabilities. I'll put up a pic soon as well. All black sceme looks smexy

IMO the R32 is better than the R33.

Regarding Initial D, I'm up to the point where I'm waiting for the fifth stage to be released (If it ever happens)
