Am I right in assuming everybody's already bought & attempted to drift Twin Ring? I was just wondering, because I've noticed that you need a lot of power to be able to link most of the corners, which annoys me & my low power philosophy...

Haven't yet, haven't had the money (Everything I do have is going toward a new helmet and new fairings for the bike, as well as a quick trip to Sydney with some mates this holiday's) I'm gonna see if I can get my brother to get it for me seeing as I've bought him some stuff on PSN and XBL and he still owes me...

I guess its good I run high power cars then? :lol:
 
I would drift tonight and tomorrow but I'm halfway through the 24 hours of the 'Ring

Speaking of which, I just finished the race. My profile now says I have completed 100% of the game. It only took me 11 months :sly:
 
So my cast is off now (yay) an I have finally got around to getting the FR-S and buying the Motegi pack. The FR-S as we know is just a re branded GT86 so I don't think I need to explain what I think about the car. The track is mostly built for power with it's long straights but the section from the 1st to the 5th corner on the east course is my favorite part of the track to drift. I also found it's not too hard to drift the oval track either, even with the FR-S. It's a fun track and it's better than I expected with people saying that turns are too narrow (which I feel is true with some corners).
 
In terms of looks, I prefer the FR-S over the 86. The lack of front license plate makes it look a lot cleaner and nicer than the 86. But yea, performance wise, they are identical..
 
I like that about the FR-S too. It looks sleeker without the plate on front and drifts just as epically. When I grow older I want to at least have had the chance to drive an 86. Hell, at $30,000 I could even own one in the future.

For christ sake, stop generalising every single P-plater, or driver of a modified car on the road as a hoon. It is retarded. All their doing is pissing off car enthusiasts and dividing the damn community. I get funny looks for driving my bloody Falcon (hubcaps and all) down the main street of Mt Gambier, and I blame some of it on :censored:heads but most of it on the damn media in this country.

Leave us alone and start looking at what else is wrong on the roads *Insert rant about 4WDs and caravans here*
 
So, in other news, coming back from Penrith today, decided I'd like to try a front flip on my bike*.. Didnt work so well, broke my ankle which has me at home from work for a month... Looks like I'll be doing some more drifting on GT5 aye? :lol:

*Disclaimer: No I didnt actually try a front flip on purpose, tried to emergency stop behind a mate going down a hill with a truck coming up the hill, chose to hit his car instead of the truck..
 
Thats a real shame about the ankle Nismo. Hope you get better soon. Also, I would be opening more rooms but GT5 is having connection problems meaning I can't join any type of room

Edit: Getting a connection error with GT5. Beginning to really annoy me. At least if I can't get online on GT5 I can take my new HPI Baja for a spin

Ohhh a Baja, they always look cool to play with.

I've still got my old RC drift car in my closet.

I think I may have to use a controller from now on GT5, dayum :(
 
Has anyone been getting online recently? My game is still getting the 807 error which is why I haven't been opening rooms. While I've been offline I have however had the time to do some work on videos. This is my drift video for my touge but I'm going to do a lap record video hopefully
