Funny... The other night's project show wasn't what we were expecting, but this one...
Certainly is. Get a bunch of 🤬 head 20 year olds rather then real car enthusiasts and put them against families of dead kids and police. FFS. This one sided crap has really got me fired up. According to a guy in that video I'll probably go chuck a skid to take out my rage. Not. Gonna. Happen.

One point I do agree with "Local events are only held once a month (If that down here), do you want to be driving across Australia to drive your car?" I do admit, it doesnt give the right to speed on the road, but it is a fair point..
I guess another thing, although still not right, better off them 🤬 around in quiet car lot or dead industrial area rather than down the highway... Still not right but still...

I don't understand. If you don't want to get caught you've got to run stealth. An important lesson my Dad and MCM have taught me. If these yobbos were smart enough to not put on loud as exhausts saying "Oi, book me mr plod" then you wouldn't get the attention. On the Hume the cops don't interfere with my dad because he runs quiet stacks and doesn't have millions of blinding lights.
That report is exactly what they did a couple years ago with the truckies. It's just ACA getting a story out when there's not much news. It's stupid. As to the guy in the white Silvia S14 drifting on the mountain road - I've got no issue with what your doing. Not because your a drifter but because you obviously make sure nobody is around and the fact your out of the way of public view. Unlike the prats around my house who again drive White VS Commodores. I've no idea why they are such a popular hoon car!
Then again they only got the real d1ckheads to join the show. Not people like you Hayden. But of course ACA couldn't do that because that means that ACA wouldn't be completely right. Again, back when they had the truckie debate they had my dads boss (Paul Freestone) on the show saying that he has sacked workers for truck tampering and makes sure they do the right thing. Even though he posed a valid point to the argument what he said was never aired because channel 9 was trying to make out that trucks were in the wrong.

All this ACA hate, then again in one of their 'hoon' stories they used a clip from grassroot touge drifting videos from Japan and said that it occurred in Adelaide Hills or something

still going hard at GT5 i see boys, i sold my ps3 because my sister had to go in for surgery and my parents didn't have the money to cover it, but its okay, i plan on getting another ps3 soon! sorry for being inactive for the past year

Having an ethernet cable would be even better but moving the PS3 closer to the wifi does help. In the meantime, I just had a go on GT academy and around Motegi. Its a good track to drive on and does pose some promise to be good for drifting. I would have recorded myself drifting the 370Z on track but the Sports Soft tyres are too grippy for the power. Not overly complicated like the Ring but has a nice simpler feel like Suzuka east. Power coming out of turns is critical for a 1:36 time. Other than that it's fairly easy. Lets hope it'll come to GT5.

I went through and did round 6,7 and 8, Motegi Looks beautiful, I really dislike AWD's, especially stock, GT Academy probably could have gone without so many GTR's (Come on, 4, seriously?) Oh yea Kiwi, there are a few trials where you were .006 ahead of the gold time, wanna cut it any closer? Cant wait to get Motegi and thrash around it in some useful cars..

So, I spent the morning finishing off the academy and i'm pretty happy with all of my results. Sitting 77th in one trial 1xx in a couple others...
But that last one. My god. Motegi makes the 370 go full retard. Nothing I tried could get me a decent time, so I ended up rage quitting. I may give it another try later on, but I seriously doubt that I'll be able to reel in anything like the 3 seconds to 1st...

Yea, Motegi was a bit tricky to get right. You have to learn every corner seperatly and work out the braking point to each, when to apply the throttle, when to turn, how much to turn. Took me a good half hour to get it and there is still a heap of improvement to be made...
