You can increase the capacity of short term by using a process called "chunking" in which you can group items into chunks e.g. a phone number. (555) (867) (5309)... Long term memory is created when items such as a phone number have been rehearsed (or thought about) many times over in the brain and are retained in LTM. Now what is more important is the fact that you have remembered that someone said that he was the age 15. This would mean that that piece of memory has been rehearsed many times over and will remain in your LTM for years to come and every time you think about it, it will be there longer, cool huh? You did something that we all can do. Congrats 👍

I've just cleared well over a page of general noise (and a few posts that unfortunately got tied in with the bad ones), and after two banishments and a handful of infractions, this thread can move back on topic. Any further posts riddled with either abusive comments, text speak, or attempts to bypass the swear filter will earn the poster a week's holiday. GTPlanet is not the place for any of of that.

ok i dont wanna sound like a jerk or anything but what makes your team so "PRESTIGIOUS". is it your tunes? your attitude? your ability to destroy anyone you line up next to? or is it just a name that you picked because it makes your team sound better than anyone else's team? personally i dont know you but from reading this post and the way that you only SELECT people to join your team to me places you somewhere in the area between a cockroach and that white foam that accumulates at the corner of your mouth when your really thirsty. i raced your boy tony last night in his GTR and when i beat him he said " no fair you can see the ghost first" yet when he got a good reaction on me it was all good. i never complain when i get beat because frankly i dont care because this game is just that its a game!!! i could care less if i never play it again. But you coming on here listing your BS about your team and how we should assume that your good or whatever is the biggest load of horse crap ive ever heard in my life. i will never respect you or your team until you prove yourselves and that doesnt mean hanging in rooms and tuning off of people like you did with Team Elite when they were around. Well i went through the entire dictionary and came up with about 20 good names but PRESTIGE just stuck with me and some people have ghost lag some don't, we've all had it before but i gotta talk to tony, i noticed he only races his GTR for some reason. and TEAM ELITE never gave me any tunes, i'm a offline tuner (solo) and i choose my buddies for my team... Eminem-xX might not be the fastest but he's a loyal friend..... and if you have beef with me we can settle this at Indy.

I've got to agree with TS here, you can't just come barging into a website and announced you've "made" a team (ok well you can), but the big mistake was picking out the people that could join. At least hold some tryouts or something. Your team WILL NOT, I REPEAT, WILL NOT get good without starting out small. You can't expect to have the best team in the world in a few seconds. If a person doesn't want to try out for the team, accept it and move on. Don't "force" them into something they don't want to be in. Tryout the people that ask, and go from there. Best thing to do is to find a group of friends and start one that way, and recruit people as nessecary. The next mistake is going off on someone just because they won't join. Big whoop. That isn't how you get respect around here. Sure, your a pretty decent drag racer. But what's happening here is low. And I mean it. You earn respect out on the track, and people kind etc, and not letting stupid little petty **** bother you. This thread is getting out of control. Several people have been banned over this thread. People are ripping their hair out of there head trying to get points across. IT'S A ****ING VIDEO GAME!!!! That's enough, I'm outta this thread. I can't stand this anymore, I've been reading through this for weeks and I've about had it with everyone. Keep these boards clean guys, this is a safe haven for many of us, GT5 is a game we all come home to and play to relieve stress and not recieve it. And quite frankly, I've been more stressed out over this than anything else in my life, and that's saying something considering the stuff going on with me now and continuing family issues. I've had enough with all the ranting etc that's been going, not just in this thread, but in the board. Again, keep it clean, we all just want to have fun and enjoy the game but the constant fighting here is ruining this. I now see part of the reason the admins here refused to make a drag forum for so long with the other part being it's not yet in GT5. I'm not trying to get on anyones bad side, but I'm just stating all this and it's made me feel a bit better getting it all out, so thanks for listening.

About team Prestige, why is it bad that honda hand picks who is on the team? If you're gunna make a team, you hold out tryouts, and some good people come in but they have a bad attitude, should they still be on the team? If he makes a team, let him do whatever the 🤬 he wants to do. As far as I can figure out, Luna never gave honda a direct answer. If she at one point said no, then yes, it is wrong to keep her spot occupied until she changes her mind. I ran some people on this team, all are legit and their tunes aren't bad either.

i dont know the people on prestige on a personal level but what im trying to get across is. what is the point of coming on here, creating a thread saying " Hey i created a team and i pick whos on it." Why not just create a thread that says "Im on a team and your not, na na na na boo boo" who cares. good job honda i applaud you!!! you created a team with 2 people good job. now can we delete this thread cause im sure everyone on GT5 knows that team prestige exists.

I really hate bullies&#8230; I appreciate you feel you have to defend your pal (brother), but as a completely impartial observer who doesn&#8217;t know either of you I would like to point out you seem to be a lot more obsessed with Honda than he is with you guys. I don&#8217;t want to comment too much on scream as he has no means to reply (at the moment) but the three permanent bans he has accumulated speaks volumes.

Maybe honda is some sort of mastermind with a plan to make you guys look bad (which is working), but you&#8217;re coming across as a bully and picking on an easy target. Even if what you say is true I find it pretty poor behaviour&#8230; so what if Honda has a crush on a girl or wants to &#8220;get in&#8221; with a team he likes?
