Hey Shmo,
The Jaguar XFR tune works super, I love it!
I love your tune for the Ruf BTR too!
Could you make a drift tune for an other Ruf?

Thanks. I was thinking of doing another RUF but haven't decided which one yet

If you thinking about the yellowbird then it might a good but tricky car to drive

That car is pretty much a born drifter. I have a race tune for it and it's pretty good, but still even with the extreme tuning I did to it any mistakes will cause it to drift. However if I toss some heavy speed 12 style tuning onto it I think I can get it to drift very controllable. Maybe I'll just try all them and see what my fav is.

Hey mate. Really good tunes. One question; what type of transmission do you use? I looked at the X540 Chaser tune, and I don't get some of the same values for my gear ratios. So..

-EDIT-
Nevermind. You have to adjust the top speed.

I have to or are you saying you as in you didn't which is why it didn't work?

You as in general. Adjust top speed first, and so on and so forth.

~EDIT~
PS: I think the Nissan 180SX X Type '96 is better at 255 Hp. It doesn't spin out as much as at 437 HP. It's more stable and the angles are outstanding! Good job with the tune, mate.

CHEERS! :-)

Glad you like. These tunes are just guaranteed to work change whatever you want to suit you better.

Also to anyone who is on my Facebook I have a poll going on to vote for which RUF I do next. Get your vote it.

Hey Shmo,

I love your tune for the Nissan Silvia S13!
But I wondered why did you choose for the Stage 2 Turbo and not the Stage 3 Turbo?

Just worked better for me. Stage 2 turbos always have more torque which means the tires spin more. Sometimes lower powered cars need more wheel spin so I use stage 2.

Ok, I tried both Turbos and I love your tune with both!
Your tunes are awesome!
You said a while back that you would upload a tune for the RX7.
Are you still thinking of uploading that tune?

Lol oh man I been planning in uploading this tune for like a year now. I planned in doing it once I got this graduation certificate but the thing has taken forever to arrive in the mail. I'm really hoping it shows up soon so I can get this tune out.

I use your tunes to drift with a DS3, I am going to buy a Logitech G27.
Your tunes work fantastic with the DS3, can I use the tunes with the G27 too?

Yes however drifting with a wheel is very different. You will have to relearn how to drift and some cars may be a little lose and harder to control than before.

I'm agree because when I got a wheel,I have to do the same thing and the cars feel just like what you said

Ya with my wheel it was insane no matter what car I used. Than after a while certain cars became easier than others. You can drift any of them still it just takes more skill for the slippery ones

So that's why you tune cars with a controller??

I tune with a controller because my couch is an amazing leather one that reclines and has built in cup holders. Not worth giving up to sit in a garbage chair to be able to use my wheel properly.

What car is easy to learn drifting with the G27?
I thought the Nissan Silvia (S13)...

I thought the rx7 spirt premium because the balance feels almost perfect and I use the dfgt

I can't tune cars myself, so it has to be a car that Shmo has a tune for...
If I pick one of the tunes from Shmo, what do I have to adjust for drifting with a wheel?

Shmogt already got a drift tuning garage and I know how to tune car myself but sometimes I want to try other tuners tunes like praianos, and shmogts.i tried rims and rvrs but I don't use their tunes anymore

What I mean is, Shmo tunes his cars with a DS3...
So do I have to adjust his tune to drift with his tunes with a G27?
If so, what do I have to adjust (suspension? gearbox? etc.)?

Go to the guides section on my site and read the drift tips. It says some easy cars and list progressively harder cars.

I'm not sure because his tunes is pretty good anyway

Like I said before drifting anything is gonna be weird even racing will be weird. You need to learn how to do everything over again with the wheel first. After a couple weeks or whatever you will get used to using the wheel and be able to move onto harder things. My cars will still drift and will work great however you may run into a car that just doesn't feel as good as it used to with the controller. Not that many cars will have this problem, but theres bound to be a few. From here you have 2 options. 1, Just practice more with that car since if for example it spins out because the acceleration is too much obviously you can fix this by simply not pressing the gas as hard. Option 2 is adjust the tune to your liking. For the example in the first option with the too much gas you would lower the LSD so not as much acceleration will happen when you hit the gas. IF all this has failed just say what car your using and your problem and I'll try to give you some tips or tune changes to help you out. I also might write a guide on converting from control to a wheel and what to expect with tunes/how to fix problems with tunes.

Thanks for the tips!
I will try your tunes with a wheel later this week (don't have time earlier)!
A guide on converting from control to a wheel and what to expect with tunes/how to fix problems with tunes would be handy I think, because a lot of people drift with a wheel.
I will let you know later this week how it works out with your tunes and the wheel.

THE TOP SPEED IS 149MPH
This car is such a joy to drift, its almost effortless, but its just become one of those cars im gonna be battling with for a while i reckon. As it stands it is pretty easy to get high points with and alot of fun can be had with it, i managed to get a 29.8k out of it which has realy annoyed me, only because i can repeat 29k drifts with it but just cant get it beyond that magical 30k. But once i ignored the fact that i wasnt gonna get 30k without a fight and focused on its abilty to maintain drifts i just dint realy want to stop, the back end does whip around quite readily at most of the rev range but is easy to catch and hold then throw into the next corner. Just one of those cars i could drift all day long

Lancia STRATOS Rally Car '77 (RALLY TUNE)

Holy F this car is hard to drive. I did like anything and the car would practically explode it was so insane to drive. After a long time of tuning it is much better, but still insane. If you noticed this car is a MR rally car meaning all the weight and power happens in the back of it. Not at all what you want for rally lol. However practice a lot and you can get the hang of it. It is the most difficult rally car I have tried so far and I only suggest for good rally people to try. It can be a ton of fun since you have to watch every second. I also recommend dirt tracks as it's just more stable. If you want an extreme challenge and are a master rally person try snow tracks, but the speed is what's gonna make it tough. You really need to make sure you know where to brake.
