ok for all transmission setups what you absolutely have to do is set the top speed FIRST than set all the gears than set the final gear. Any other way will mess everything up. If you have already set a transmission wrong just hit reset and do it the proper way to make sure you have the same settings.

oh thanks :D but does it matter if i buy al the parts first? and sometimes like in the mercedes 190e discription it says i need a top speed of 120 or something like that but i can only get as low as 180 :S
btw sorry for al those questions

You have to buy all the parts first. Whatever the best part is buy that for everything unless it says not to in the description. Also I usually don't use chassis rigidity unless it says to. The top speed is under final gear settings move that down to 112 than set all the individual gears than go to final gear and move that to whatever the number I said to. There is another top speed by the graph to the right, but you can't change that and do not worry what that number says.

Testing that shigeno tune now..will edit soon and let you know how I go. I'm quite excited...I've been tuning this car for a while and never quite got it perfect, and your tune is very similar to mine.

*EDIT*

Alright, after a few laps on autumn ring and tsukuba, the car handles ok, for it's weight you'd expect it to handle a little better, but the whole time I felt like I was drifting something a lot heavier than what it was. I also found it really hard to break traction with the high rpm turbo so I opted for mid range turbo and then left the gear ratios the same and wound the top speed back up to 167mph and adjusted the rear camber to 1.7. Everything else was left the same.
After that it was quite a bit of fun, got some really good angles and it maintained drifts nicely, but was still just too inconsistent to drive. Sections I would drift cleanly the first lap, on the next lap I would spin or under steer my way straight off the track. I think this car has a lot of potential, just needs constant fine tuning to find a balance that you're happy with.

Thanks for your review. The car feels heavy because it has no power. Drive one of my other cars that way a ton and they feel super light because they have so much power. What you have to do is drive in a lower gear to get the revs up there and tires smoking and change to a higher one maybe half way through to make the full turn. I raced it a bunch on both the tracks you said and autumn ring you have to watch because of the elevation change. I sometimes spin no matter what the car.

I know people love this car to drift that's why I made it but personally I don't see why since there is so many other choices of cars with a lot more power. I can drift the whole track in one constant drift at Tsukuba for 23,000 points so I felt I couldn't get better than that. Another 100hp and I think it could really be in the super fun category.

Also try stage 5 the smaller track. I had a ton of fun there drifting everything so smoothly.

thanks for the tips, i just tuned some car and they are awsome :d still fighting with that challenger :S oh btw i even made some pickups drift like a chevrolet sst and a dodge ram :D the dodge ram is a awsome drifter thankt to the 4wd :D the chevrolet sst was a bit harder to drift but it just needed some fine tuning and now its almost perfect. i also tried tuning a porsche boxster but it just doest have the power to drift a full lap :S now i'm working on your ferrari tune :D

Nice those can be some tricky cars to tune. I been busy but I'll try to get the challenger tune up sometime today.

now i know why i cant get my top speed as low as yours :$ i got km/h and u got mhp :P hmmm you must think im stupid now hahaha :D

Yup, lol just joke. Ya I use mph. Read my first page intro to see all my standard driving stuff. Also challenger is in the way!

haha i will read it now, got nothing else to do :P cant drift right now because my ps3 issnt in my room its in my brothers and hes asleep :S

Dodge Challenger SRT8 2008

Fun car overall. Can get a little tricky on tracks with lots of slopes, but lots of power to get the job done. I painted mine AMG Monza Grau magno with those cool chrome chopper rims. I have an identical paint and rims on the old challenger so I felt I had to for this one. They actually look pretty similar, but I still like the old one more because of the vinyl roof and not as chunky front and rear.

Used your chaser tune and the ft-86 tune and they are both pretty fun! You don't even really notice the lack of power in the 86, it just sticks everything. Also I found a way around the early chaser entries..the weight distribution in the car is pretty messy and mostly in the front of the car..I found that raising the front suspension a little higher than the back (I'm using -28/-45) helps combat the back flicking everywhere and the need to adjust entries. I pretty much drive it like the blitz r34 now except it gets way better angles and feels more stable mid drift. Good work dude..really enjoying them :)

Thank you and thanks for the tip I'll test out the ride height and see how it goes

wow its so much better than mine but still spins sometimes. i thing i'm gonna use it alot in snow laps couse there its just a drift monster like the buick. i just made a db9 tune used the spring settings of the maserati and its works great, had some problems with the ratios but worked that out. haha i also just drifted with my golf r32 on the new kart track haha.

If you spin in a car that's your fault. It means you are pressing the gas too much. If you see the car is starting to turn just a bit too much let off the gas and coutersteer. Also you may spin on tracks that are bumpy no matter what. Stupid Autumn ring coming down the hill I sometimes spin or lose control and theres nothing I can do. Just practice with it at certain tracks and you will get to know how much speed etc on entry to do

yes thats right, i only spin out on tracks with elevation. i'm used to drift with 800+ hp cars so controlling the gas isnt the problem :D yep on autumn ring it always hapend. didnt happen on tsusukba idk how to spell it :P

wow i just found a uge potential drift car: tommy kaira ZZII '00
its a 4wd and only weights 910 kilo and its super fast. it isnt a high hp car. it only has between 700/800 hp idk how much exactly because havent bought everything.

really good drift tune shmogt and nice paint job
thanks

ya that car is pretty sweet. It's super good for racing, but I hate it since it has a lot of understeer. For some reason car with lots of understeer like the speed12, vantage, SL600 etc make awesome drift cars so your right it might be awesome too. It's kind of short wheel base tho so may be tricky.

ok an do i click copy or move on the advanced

you hit hit on he first post and than choose go advance. It will bring you to a bigger screen that has the option to change title above the main paragraph. Just do that every time you want to add something to the title.

ok

Hey! shmogt is there anyway u can create a toyota soarer tune or a toyota aristo?
I'll look into it

shmogt ever drifted on kart space 1? and if u did, witch car did u drift? i used the golf r32 to drift it :P

Ya I drifted there a few times. I tried in my fiat 500, but it sucked lol. Than I used the 599 and my Shelby 350 which was pretty cool. Only thing thing I don't like about there is since it's so small if all the people in the room are not good it just causes a huge pile up. Like one mistake and everyone is going to hit you and jam up the entire track

Nissan SILVIA spec-R AERO (S15) 2002

Ok so I have been asked a couple times about a S15, but I usually refer them to my S13 tune since I heard it works awesome on it. However this time I decided to actually build one. Thank god I did because it turns out I didn't even own one of these cars before! I knew I had the RM version and I swear I remember buying a normal one and painting it yellow, but I guess I was thinking of something else. I got this car now and it is awesome. Drifts really well and is easy. I like the way mine looks too with the metallic green and matt pink rims.

Toyota SOARER 2.5GT-T 1997

If you have this drive it right now. I can't lie to any of you it is the prefect drift car. I was just going to release it with no changes because once all the parts are added it is already perfect. I made a few minor changes to give it a little more driftness, but you can seriously drive it with default settings it was built for drift.
