I want you to take this Japanese beauty and show her a good time around the city of Rome

Target:

Get a top 10 time for racing line ( don't have to submit there)

I would say it will be quite hard to get into the 1'06's from looking at the top 10 , but between us we can find the perfect Denso@Rome set up and push it into the 1'06 barrier!( Forget this bit now )

OLR rules apply , we are all familiar with them so shouldn't be a problem . Post your time even if not top10 so we can help each other out on where we are losing out

Hope to see some times over the weekend! I'll make a start right now and see how far off the pace I am

Oh and a deadline here!! lets say... 1 week should be enough time to get a few laps in ?

Ok just had 10 laps around rome and managed to get this on my 10th lap!

Just reviewed it in replay theatre and it's clean but rather sloppy so I should be able to easy get the 1'06's

I like Rome and we have had alot of experience with the Denso during GTDrafting.

21.155 / 46.411 ----> 1.06.500

100% clean run, x-port replay available if someone wants it.

Is it really worth it setting the brakes that high? (23 24) I seem to get bad results with that.

Had a T2 of 45.799, but screwed up in the last corner. A high 1.05 is possible with these settings.

As for the brakes, well the set up I started with was someone else's on the card that I loaded. I just changed the springs / ride height/ stabs and lsd didn't think about the brakes really .
Will experiment tomorrow though 😈

I used the settings Lotus posted in here. I only changed the brake balance to 21/17.

I ran a few laps earlier today before work. I wasn't in the right frame of mind I suppose as I was getting really frustrated with it.

Ended up with a 1'06.9xx before I got pissed and had to go to work. haha, oh well. I'll get some good quality time on it tomorrow. errr, I guess that would actually be later today technically speaking.

Yeah I did that too, 45mm was too low the car was going all over the place if I hit the curbs too hard.

Im gonna have another hack at my ghost soon.

Damnit I know im loosing allot of time on that corner that leads onto the backstraight and you have to change direction very quickly to get the best line through the corner.

Yeah, I'm losing time there as well. Running some laps as we speak. I'll post up a replay once I get a really good lap in. I'm down to a:

1'06.662 right now.
