You're tandeming already! Had a go with tandeming online last night in an AE86 but with CH tyres I was way faster than the El Camino another guy was using

I know right!!! I dont have a complete build, and it sucks.
The 1 million helps dearly. Last night I bought about 24 drift specific cars and I've already fully upgraded my Hachiroku. Because of my splurging though, I'm down to 15k

Dont worry. I had a mill last night, today I'm on $900. also only have like 3 main cars.... Doh.

Mines at -2 and it's still too twitchy.
They shouldn't have touched the physics, it feels NFS/Forzaish imo

It's never even close to NFS or Forza, maybe its just me I played GT5 on +7 as well and it feels almost the same..

They've messed it all up, since when does a completely stock car's nose hit the ground when you brake?
GT5's physics were spot on, just maybe a tiny bit more grip with CH's at the most was needed.

In this if I try to change my angle in a drift only slightly, I get a huge snapback in the front end or I spin out.
At this stage if I wanna drift I'm gonna do it in real life or play GT5

I haven't had any of the problems that most people seem to complain about.

Or maybe I can just deal with it instead of just quitting since it seem like most people are.

Well just spent the whole night trying to drift smoothly and absolutely no progress.
I've tried that many tunes it isn't funny, I've even resorted to using all sorts of tyres from CH to SM with all them different tunes.

Oh and I'll mention that the pathetic new tyre sound actually broke my headphones, I get a wonderful crackling noise now when I listen to anything over 1/4 volume.

All I can say about the new physics is 'well done PD, well done.....'

I found it's easier to drift CH once you've had some time racing on grippier compounds, that way you get to anticipate snappiness a lot more.

Name: Toshi
PSN: toastytrumpet
Timezone: CST
Drifting Experience: Started drifting in GT2. I drifted heavily in GT3 and 4 but didn't have a PS3 when GT5 came out. Coming back to GT6 and would love some people to drift with. I also helped organize and instruct drift days in Colorado.
Previous Team/s: None
Favourite Car/s:
Silva S15 Aero R, S13 Dia Selection, Maxda RX-7 Spirit R Type A, GT86 "Racing"

I am mainly looking to hang out and tune some cars for drifting. I am new to the drifting scene in GT but have good real world experience drifting.

Hey Toshi. I'll add your PSN so you can try out. Not sure how well I'll do myself since I'm not as good at drifting in GT6 yet . Only issue would be that you live in america. Our timezones may be off.

Because you helped me out with the team vid, I'll send you a pm with the tune in running on my 88 group a supra. Its obviously not finalized, but slab and I were having some pretty decent runs last night on trial mt. Reverse

Would it be wise if all team members changed their GT6 names to something like their PSN's? I've no clue who anyone is when you enter a room now and I it's probably the same for others with my name (S.Goonya). Should we change our names to something like JDMT xxxx i.e. JDMT JR86?

Could be possible, although checking the lobby regularly you will know who enters. :) Plus, you would recognise my game-nick. :)

Mine is *.JDMT_JHG50

I think a few of us so far have changed them.

Mine is D.Princess with a German flag. Can't be much more obvious right? :D
 At least it's recodnisable

I've put mine as ^_^ JDMT_JR86. Providing others can tell that you're from the team and your end title, you can sort of do whatever.

@JDM_Tuning_S3OZ

Remember the fitment of my JZX Specs.. Here's a similar setup, what i found on speedhunters at a rather coincidental time.

http://www.speedhunters.com/2013/12/sedan-king-n-style-customs-jzx100-mark-ii/#chapter-looking-right

There should be a explicit content warning before you enter

Oh yeah I'm now drifting quite well on GT6 even with the weird physics.
Everyone said to not use my GT5 setups but...
Since my setups were stiffer than most people on 5, they fit perfectly onto 6 n reduce the snappy transitions a lot.

I'm curious is anyone else having the problem where when they lower there car in the settings it doesn't actually lower the car?

Um okay what the legitimate ****,
this shows how low the NSW Police Force is, they allowed PD to use their speeding campaign in a f'n racing simulator, on a racetrack??
I know it's a public road most of the time but wtf ?

That is... odd. I know they are trying to make everything as true to life as they can and that irl the police always hound Bathurst for speeding, but this is kind of dumb to have in a racing game. Nice volvo by the way.

No problem for me at all, I was just under the impression we should stick to JDM cars as much as possible. I really don't mind mate. :) Imo, everybody should use what they are comfortable in, as long as it's not retarded or anything. (Which the Volvo isn't imo).

This guy is one of the best, maybe even the best in Europe atm. (He definitely is imo :D)

We all tend to use JDM cars more than others but you can use whatever you want. Were fond of using Euro cars from time to time.

No problem with that. Is it lowered when you are on track?
