Dear Yamauchi-San,
Gran Turismo is known for pushing the limits of it's console hardware in pursuit of the most cutting edge simulation, graphical and data technology available on games consoles at the time. Things like the level of car modelling seen on 'Premium' cars, tyre and suspension modelling equivalent to most high-end simulations and many other innovations are what define Gran Turismo.
However, it could be argued that the pursuit of these technological advancements is at the cost of more story-driven aspects of driving games that can when well-implemented can create long-lasting enjoyment. Do you consider Gran Turismo to have perhaps neglected the more human aspect of driving, including career modes and deeper personalisation through in-game characters, and is that something you'd like to bring to Gran Turismo?
