@ ussr (and every game users), I have some questions:

· I see the HUD can be fully removed, but, can any parts of it be disabled?

· Can the virtual mirror be switched off, getting only the real mirrors working?

· Has the online a co-op mode, or can be an online race grid completed with AI (bot) cars?

Thanks in advice.

There are four cameras in this game:
1. Bumper camera.

2. Hood camera

3. In car camera

4. Long camera.

You can turn Hud view with Mirror ON

Turn OFF only mirror and leave speed dial and map, position on race track, time distance to car in front/car behind.
Or turn every thing OFF having only clear race track.

As for the on-line I've never found any co-op mode, now i can't find any one on-line this days. Every time i try to find game session my game keeps setting up new one. I did only 10 races when few guys were there but since they did platinums i think they might stop playing. I think it's to early for on-line because poor of the distribution this game had during launch days.

But yes you can add some AI computer cars to on-line grid and have for example 4 real players and 4 (or less) AI cars set to any difficulty, easy normal or hard.

I'm looking forward to playing the online part when they put out a patch for the Thrustmaster t500 (PS3). I bought the game and loaded it but the car drives like **** with my thrustmaster. So.. game installed and waiting for a patch so I can play it. I'll post the minute Atari decides to recognize my wheel.

Interestingly enough I saw this this morning on Thrustmaster's technical support site.
Guess I will try again when I get home.

Your wheel is now compatible with some PlayStation® 3 games (along with Force Feedback functionality), including:

- COLIN McRae - DIRT® 2 - PS3

- DIRT® 3 - PS3

- DIRT SHOWDOWN® - PS3

- F1 2010 - PS3

- F1 2011 - PS3

- F1 2012 - PS3

- GRAN TURISMO® 5(*) - PS3

(*) Requires the V2.05 update.

(*) In menus, use the gas pedal to confirm, and the brake pedal to cancel.

- NEED FOR SPEED™ THE RUN - PS3

- SHIFT 2 UNLEASHED™ - PS3

- SPLIT/SECOND VELOCITY - PS3

- SUPERCAR CHALLENGE - PS3

- SuperStars® V8 Next Challenge – PS3

- TEST DRIVE®-FERRARI RACING LEGENDS – PS3

- WRC Fia World Rally Championship – PS3

- WRC 2 - Fia World Rally Championship – PS3

- Other titles coming soon

On PlayStation®3, in the general menu, use your official gamepad (not your racing wheel) to navigate and start your games. The wheel will work only when the game is started.

This is great, and just that I was looking for :)

About cameras, tell me if it´s possible:

- Cockpit camera
- HUD full off
- Virtual mirror off
- Real mirrors on

Thanks for all, friend, you´re helping us a lot.

???!!!

I will ask to that Facebook user having a T500 if the game now works with it.

So the race with the 333SP on Road America. The one where your team-mate must finished ahead, your bonus objective is 2nd place, and must be ahead of Chuck. USSR, you were not kidding about this event. :ouch:

That was a incredibly frustrating race for me. Not only did the pace of the AI on hard difficulty actually give somewhat a challenge. But doing it on PRO+Hard diff was just wasted time. I was either taken out by the AI, or I was trying to hold down my position desperately with my tires completely mangled with two laps to go.

But then I find out if you back down to the NORMAL driving model, tire wear does NOT take place at all. 💡

Even on the hard difficulty. To be honest, the cars feel more natural. Atleast for the Modern era cars, because they do have all the gizmo's and what not. Gold & Silver Era's should be done in PRO mode, it 's too dang fun. :dopey:

That Road America 333SP race turned into easy objective complete after changing it to NORMAL Driving Model.

Oh yes you can use real in car mirrors. I've never care what's going on behind me, never :sly:

I think i need a week brake from this game. And then just start use normal cars like 360 or Testarossa because every time i try to use those cars after F1 it feels like i can't drive

Well I bought the game yesterday and returned it after playing 4 hours. I really like how the game looks, the car selection and the track selection. But this game is just plain stupid to drive. I tried all setup options and settings but it keeps "floating".

Such a shame. I wonder how in the world publishers think this is a good driving model.

I have to be honest, I had the same problem with NFS Shift2. I just hoped they changed the physics, guess not....

So I finally got back to trying this game with my T500. ****!!! car handles like crap. I guess I won't be buying any more driving games by atari unless they figure out how to make this game "playable". then maybe we can work up to "fun". Sad when it's easier to drive the car with the controller than the wheel.

Well it was written all over internet that Test Drive Ferrari Racing Legends is based on shift physics. So in conclusion if someone played shift and didn't like it then shouldn't get any near this game.

Some hate it, others love it.

Well finally managed to get the game from coolshop, so thanks for the link to that. I'm quite enjoying it. It's not the best handling model in the world but it's certainly not the worst and there are enough nuances between the different cars to make it fun. I like the idea of the campaign as well. It's a game you can stick on, not think too much about it and just have some fun.

Anyone who has purchased Test Drive Ferrari Racing Legends to play this game with your Thrustmaster T500RS wheel you need to change the Sensitivity to "normal"

- “Normal Sensitivity” (requires setup).
This mode is used to keep the steering axis’s central dead zone (a zone which naturally exists on the gamepad).
• Setting “Normal Sensitivity” mode:
Action
LED status
Press the following buttons at the same time:
BLINKS
D-Pad + L3 + R3
Your wheel’s steering is now in normal sensitivity

Took me a while to figure out but now that I have changed the setting game is playable with the T500RS.

Hope this eliminates the headaches for someone else.

Now that I can actually race gonna try to do some of the career mode.

But is the T500 full supported now or it works under emulation mode?

Works with "normal sentivitiy" mode. Without changing the sensitivity the wheel is too sensitive and the car is undriveable. To tell you the truth though once I changed modes the game plays great. It seems the t500 is supported for PC if you look at the thrusmaster site. The wheel works at least as well as my old g27 in the "normal sensitivty" mode. Game is a lot of fun so far... finally getting a chance to enjoy it now that I have altered my wheel sensitivity.

With G27 steering is so good you can actually fight for World Records. I can only assume if with proper fix for Thrusmaster T500RS those lap times could be just a little better.

Still no release in the Uk yet :( Coolshop is okay but not an official Uk release, they just ship European games over here. Game had 27th of July on their site, but it's now been swapped with - out soon...

It says Rombax games on the cover though who are the UK distributor rather than Big Ben who are the European distributors, so surely it's a UK version? Unless that's just the image they've used on the site and you get a Big Ben version of course.

Title says all. Every time you go to Time Trial and set best lap you may save our ghost. So when next time you try to beat this lap you may load previous ghost. But you can only race with ONE ghost replay only.

So where the hell second ghost came from :ill: Just wanted to share this one Weird thing

I just ordered it from Coolshop, I am not fussed at all about it not being an official UK release, its still the same game:)

And its a good price too.

Never mind the ghost, those F1 physics look terrible. :(

Once you got used to it. Then it's fun. That's why we sometimes play RidgeRacer <- for fun :)

Started the game last night, it is enjoyable. Takes a bit of getting used to handling wise but its good clean fun.

I've had this game for 3 weeks now and I am thoroughly enjoying every bit of it. 👍

Game in campaign is straight forward, if you want to make progress and unlock track or car you have to win race, there is no skipping races. If you stuck because you can't win then it's all over. If you manage to beat all the races then there is online races which is great if you find clean racers. And finally time trial which is even greater fun if you dream of world record lap times. More guys goes there and it's gets tighter.

I did play couple times but when i can't find anyone on-line anymore this days i just don't bother to wait in open on line room.
