This is controversial, do you even remember DLC scandal in first Shift, Ferrari cars for X360 only and some other cars for ps3! 👎

Now when license expired SMS thinks they can release old game and make money on it. I'm not buying it, I've already played first shift.

You are forgetting that it is EA who was pulling the strings on the NFS francise, not SMS. So blaming them for the choice of DLC releases isn't correct in my opinion. When you go on the pCARS forum at wmdportal.com and get to know the guys of SMS you will realise this as well.

Game is coming in May and it's closed circuit races, not open world like previous Test Drives so I'll give it a chance.

But it's based on same Shift 2 engine so I'm still cautious with my opinion about it.

A little game play

Iv never played any of the shift games on console so I can't compare but I hope it'll look better than this on PC.
Hopefully Misty Loch is the open world layout I saw in the PCars thread.

At least in these video cars seems to act like cars (or sort of). But what a bad camera FOV. I hope we can adjust it, I'm not a big fan of these loose cameras bouncin everywhere.

Will someone change the name of the thread to Shift: Ferrari or something, I dont care that the game is called Test Drive, constant comparisons I am seeing to TDUnlimited are daft.

Anyways, that video looks great, old F1 cars round the Nordschleife? Yes please!

Apparently this game is getting a PC version, but from what I can tell, not in America for some strange reason. Been wanting to pre-order this, but Amazon still doesn't have a PC version available for pre-order. Hopefully it'll just be on Steam.

That video lacks sence of speed ... the F1 car (middle of the video) is going over 250 kmh and it looks like its doing 50...

For all its flaws, I did enjoy TDU2. I also enjoyed Ferrari Challenge, this effort doesn't inspire confidence though. The tracks and car list is impressive though, so I will keep my eye on it.

Nice lot of cars, but the one thing that surprised me was Hockenheim 1982....That's right, the old Hockenheim track with the long straights that lead into the crappy chicanes is back! Also included are an extended Corte di Azure and classic versions of Silverstone and Spa.

Good! 👍

Video looks good, driving physics looks promising. Sadly video is from Xbox not ps3 so probably will be having same problems like previously. But neither delay releasing game to end of May will change my mind about it. Maybe SMS found a way to resolve some ps3 problems and instead release patch they decide to fix problems during game developing 👍

For the love of...

This has nothing to do with either of these games, please read into it.

Comparisons with TDU are daft now.

Where did I compare it to TDU? I just said, that I enjoyed TDU2. That was in response to people who didn't enjoy that game. I also said that I enjoyed the previous Ferrari only game, Ferrari challenge.
With the title of this game, being Test Drive - Ferrari racing Legends, I did not realise I was not allowed to mention any other game. Whether they are associated or not.

Also the title of the game is quite similar as in the first two words, Test Drive, do you not realise that TDU may be brought up in conversation?
