Slightly Mad Studio didn't really make this game, it was a different devloper, who then handed the game over to SMS, who polished and fine tuned the game.

If that's the SIMULATION, I'll wait till someone convert the good stuff to rFactor, as they did with previous Shifts.

Dude so I take it you also have the shift street mod for rfactor? I'm always looking to race with people online with that mod. Please send me a PM if you're interested in racing someday. I love that mod, I just can't find people who use it, though I haven't really looked that hard either outside of checking the lobbies here and there

Seems like every Atari game gets at least delayed twice.:grumpy:

Game will not be released before May 31 2012

So we wait

May pick this up just for all the F1 cars, even if the physics are a bit shoddy. The 70's/80's models look great fun in particular.

Im really hyped after seeing the F1-87 on the old Imola video.

Me too. The classic F1s and classic ferrari cars are why I'm excited about this game. I honestly think more games should have classic cars, especially classic racing cars. Like GT5 has some, but it doesn't have any classic open wheel cars.

I don't think it was too much to ask for them to improve the driving physics, especially the input lag but even still, I enjoyed Shift 2, well I still enjoy shift 2 from time to time and I'm sure I'll enjoy this.

This looks like what Ferrari challenge should have been. I wish we could use FC's physics and TD FL's presentation, car list, track list, and campaign but that's just a random thought of mine.

All i can hear is crappy Dubstep.

Agreed man. I hate dubstep with a passion. It's not music and if anyone thinks so they have to look up the definition of music.

And I might add, what a surprise it is that a metallica fan hates dubstep (sarcasm). :)

We will see, but this game is made by other company than SMS studio but on the same engine Shift 1 was, so it is possible to had decent game 👍

I'm just worried about the input lag. On SMS's most recent PS3 game, Shift 2, the lag was atrocious.

From what I could tell from the InsideSimRacing beta test video the input lag is still there, and not a little.
This together with the powerboat physics has completely put me off 👎

Too bad, as I really like the car and track list :ouch:
