Lame đź‘Ž. I picked up my reserved copy from GameStop and they told me they didn't have the pre-order bonus because Atari couldn't figure it out or something.

Mine was in the case right by the manual.

However I can't get it to work.

Most complaints seem to be about the handling. Not just official forums neogaf too.
People saying it's worse than TDU 1.

Could be a blessing for me if it's targeted at the younger racer.

Let me explain.
My son who's nearly 7 likes my wheel setup but finds them frustrating. He once saw me messing on GTA 4 and begged me for a go (pad obviously).
I let him crash a couple of cars and had to switch off, not an appropriate game for a 6 year old.

This seems the perfect game for his age group. Easy races, open world exploration, cars on rails not hard to drive.

Could any of you guys give feedback if inappropriate content is included. Bad language stuff like that.
Doesn't seem that sort of game mind.

Thanks.

All it says on the back by the rating is.

Lyrics (Music probably, can be shut off)
Mild Suggestive Themes(Dance scenes probably, which won't happen just driving around)
Simulated Gambling(Casino obviously)

Should be ok for a 6 year old.

Cheers Justin.

If you hit a pedestrian in GTA4 they tell you to ÂŁ&@# off. Lol.

GameStop told me to check back with them in a day or so, I guess I'll swing by there tomorrow after work :indiff:.

The physics are weird in the game to say the least and within 30 of starting it up there was fist pumping. It was like watching Jersey Shore with Ferrari's.

MTV has just gone free-to-air on my satellite system here in the UK and I've been watching Jersey Shore for the first time.

With handling described like that, it doesn't fill one with much hope!

Reports are it's very twitchy, with some cars much worse than others. I own many games within the 'racing' genre and can get on with different types of handling. As long as an arcade system is consistent, like Hot Pursuit, then I'll absolutely gel with it. TDU was a bit odd, especially on tight turns, but you could get on with it, but people are saying 2 is a lot worse than the first game, which isn't the most natural handler I've played.

I like the handling. As for the Casino, apparently Atari didn't exactly have it ready to go for release. It'll supposedly pop up once the PSN store is updated and it'll appear tomorrow on Xbox Live. And that is why you release DLC content the week BEFORE the launch. That way, it's all ready to go.

But it's pretty sweet. It doesn't rain that often in Ibiza, and doing the Championships are the fastest way to make money. I like it.

Thus far I like it, still not sure if I'm liking the wheel though. I haven't done much yet, mostly just cruising around in my Lancia.

Add me of you have the PS3 version.

I am still really looking forward to playing this. TDU was my most played game ever, couldnt beat it, never tried it with a wheel, but if this is bad with a wheel, I'll happily go without.

Mild Suggestive themes could also have something to do with the big breasted women and the ability to clad them in bikinis. Just sayin'

I'm loving this game so far...can't put it down. The handling seemed twitchy at first (using the pad on 360) and worse than TDU1. It took a couple hours but I'm used to it now and I think it handles better than TDU1 now..go figure. If you try not to take it so serious and just have fun with it it's a great game.

Turn the sensitivity down a tad, I did and now it handles great.

Also, I've found a fun way to make money. I found one of the computers driving around in a 2CV and challenged him, it's only 1,000 credits but it's a great way to explore.

i don't have any options to setup my Steer Wheel, (DFGT)
I was reading the TDU2 Forum and it seems as though someone had the option to select a steering wheel, but nobody else has this option.

I'm Raging right now.

I'm

Day one DLC? :odd:

I know it's nothing new (at least not that I can tell, or remember) but what a way to keep the ball rolling.

Probably just the EA style shortcut DLC.

Also I can confirm the McLaren is available if you are not in a club, it's 200,000 in the British East dealer.

Ok, it's not as bad as I first thought. I got my Range Rover and been cruising. I find the racing to be a bit on the wonky side with the weird physics, but cruising is something that I don't mind. I haven't check out any of the tuners yet so I'm not sure what you can and can't do to the cars.

What car and character are you?
I prefer the look of the Espirit, but I went with the Lancia for better stats.
I used the default white guy, put the chaufer's hat on him and no shirt/bare chest.
He looks like he belongs in a Pride Parade! LOL!

You seriously have to pay $10 to get DLC for a game that came out today that you just paid $60 for? I'd be insulted, to be honest.

You don't have to pay anything if you don't want to. It's also only $50.

Curse you guys :D. I went to 4 stores today to see if they had the game , 3 couldn't see it and EB games just flatly refused to break a street date. Looks like I get it tomorrow but I have to get it tomorrow and then go straight to work :(. UGH!

Cars unlocked via wrecked cars:

Ibiza:
1. Volkswagen Beetle
2. Buggy V8

Hawaii:
1. Citroen 2CV
2. AC 427
