Went with the Lancia for my first car and then bought a Range Rover after the first championship. Not sure what to get next, probably a house. Anyone find a good cash cow race yet? I remember the one in TDU where you drove backwards on a top speed route and got money real quick.

There's some guy (AI) in a 2CV thats worth £1k a race......small winnings but you beat it quickly. There is a cheat that earns you big cash but I'm not useing it so I'm not saying how you do it....Eden are aware of it so if you find it think twice!

The only money cheats are hacks which I don't want to use because you are pretty much going to end up with a virus downloading that crap for the PC.

These multi-platform games are confusing. I don't have the game yet, but I will get it eventually, for the PS3. I ask you all giving feedback that you always make it clear on what platform you play.

Joey I know you are on PC. Hereward, what about you? Xbox? Ps3? Pc?

Ya I'm not easily satisfied with games in the slightest and I'm starting to come around to TDU2. Its not as bad as people are making it out to be, it's by no means perfect but it is fun.

You mean you don't feel like you would "rather main line Crystal Meth into my pee hole then play this"? :)

I downloaded the game from Steam last night. I hope its not too bad. I really loved the first.

game is pretty much unplayable with the DFP ... and the ps3 controller is so twitchy its awful ... shame cuz i beta tested the pc version and it was nowhere near this bad

Thought crossed my mind but video games seem less painful.

For anyone on the PC looking to get their pre-order content go to www.testdriveunlimited.com/redeem and enter your production code. I just called GameStop about it.

I got my parent to pre order this for me for my birthday (17th Feb).

I have got the veyron supersport free and the casino. Can't wait for it. People here are expecting this to be a similator like gt5, which it isn't. All I want to do is chill with some friends cruising with some nice cars around a massive map. Its to relax with when I'm not playing gt5.

Let me just start off by saying that the maps are MASSIVE, If you've ever played Operation Flash Point 2 you know how big that maps was, well the 1st map "Ibiza" is about that same size, i was just amazed at how much distance i covered and was only half way across.

1 of my gripes is when im using my Fanatec i can't have a controller at #2 (i play on PS3) so i can use it to navigate menus and what not, i have to switch the controller to 1 to do what i have to do, then reconnect my wheel.

All in all i like the game cause it's not taking itself too seriously, Im not gonna sit here and rant on how the Physics aren't perfect or how it doesn't handle like GT5, or how there's not 1000+ cars. It's not suppose to be GT5. it's about driving around, goofing off and having fun. I wasn't expecting alot from it, but it's showed me more than i was expecting, so in that sense im surprised by some things. If you just like to drive around and have fun with some friends definitely get this, and it's only 50$!

How does the handling compare lets say to Midnight Club Los Angeles (it was really good for that type of game better than Undercover at least for me)?

PS3 version for me.

For those that hamered the first one you'd remember certain areas and locations where people would hang around in there latest and greatest creation, or certain roads that would have people hanging around on them, the twisty mountain pass and the north coast road. That was the thing about it, there was no other reason other than having a laugh or showing off.
Remember the easter egg that transported you to the "secret island" no doubt there will be similar things in TDU2 and with the 4X4's it should open up even more exploration!

Hope the cafe's are still in, where you can create a route with prize cash and stick it on the cafe notice board for anyone to give it ago......Or the race track on the original island....had many a club meet on there!

One thing which a few may not be aware of is the "sticker shop" basicly it's a system prety much the same as forza where you can create your own custom stickers for your car, along with custom paitjobs......you have to pay for the privilage (in game money) but it will add greatly to the whole custom car scene in the game. Couple this with the new photo mode it should be interesting to see what the artists out there come up with....

Quickly on the subject of DLC......with TDU it's a lot more subjective, you don't wan't all the cars, just your favourites, the game was never about collecting them all. When the bikes hit though it will really get things going, especialy when the bike clubs start up, nothing like cruising with a bunch of mates on superbikes around the island!

PLease, can someone tell me how is the handling of the cars in the game with a wheel?

I just played a little bit of it lastnight after I got it.. Kinda disappointing to be honest the graphics aren't as good as tdu for 360 was the first one. The "servers" were down so I was stuck playing the single player. Cars seem real twitchy and the in car views are pretty bad. Hope this is just because its the ps3 version?

I just picked the game up 20 minutes ago. As soon as the guidos started fist pumping in the beginning cut scene, I knew this game wasn't for me. I think the game is targeted for a younger audience (like 10?) and the physics are just garbage. I myself tried to change the controls, which I couldn't (maybe I was doing something wrong?) and there is no clutch, which I was really hoping for. I don't want to play their stupid controls, so now I am on my way to EB games to return it.

This game is nothing like Midnight Club, it's like a category of its own. It's nowhere near the level of GT5 (physics wise). I have the first Test drive torrented on my PC and use the ps3 controller, and that is way better than this one.

Just my opinion on the game, not impressed, I was really looking forward to it.

you can return opened games?

yeah. Just got back from EB games. They gave me $28.00 in-store credit. so I bought red dead redemption...lol

Ok anyone else know how to get cars like the Ariel Atom, FXX, and Mclaren??

The Ariel and McLaren are at the British (East) dealer (On the north east part of the island) dealer, haven't found the Ferrari dealer yet.

I haven't dug into it yet, but for those of you who may have made it to Oahu, are the dealers in the same locations?
