and the engines:

I don't know anything from both. So I guess I was alright.

haha, not bad. Some of those are pretty hard. The really hard one is the engine test # 1. I got less than 70 in dat one. Several obscure engines in there.

I got 40% 19/48.
I'm pretty damn hopeless when it comes to old american cars.
I know what a Ford Fairlane, Chevy Bel Air and Plymouth Fury looked like in some years, but that's about the extent of my knowledge.

I had only missed two until page 11, where I went 0 for 4, and even though I was a pre-teen in the early 1950's, I had never heard of some of those cars.

I got 52% (25/48). My knowledge of 50s automotive Americana only extends to a handful of cars and I know virtually nothing when it comes to Olds or DeSoto.

I'm just glad I got more than half of them correct.

71% on the 50's cars...I can't spot a de Soto (save the ornament) to save my life. But I'm great at picking out Studebakers from a mile away. I'm kind of weak on 1950's cars, so I thought I'd be lucky to hit 60%.

Some of those old Dodges, Chryslers, Plymouths, DeSotos can be a little excruciating to tell apart.. The GM line can be a little rough as well unless your familiar with them. The Chevy's are fairly easy, but some of the older Pontiacs, Buicks, Oldsmobiles ...... grrrrrr.

Just took the engine test (I.D. #2 ... '57 - '72). Scored 100% on it. I'll be honest here, there were 2 of them that made me put on my thinking cap. I could not be 100% decisive on those, so I went with some instinct and nailed them. :D. I'll attempt the other tests tomorrow. :nervous: I think I'll do well on the Vintage Dragster one, the others might be a little shaky ..... we'll see.

BTW - some nice scores in here, way to go guys. 👍

Damn you Cano ..... YOU KNOW BETTER THAN THAT !!!!

Your slipping man. :P

Yes it's horrible. The same happened with the 50s car test. I mean I got right the hood emblems for God's sake, and then I blow the only 50s car that had a heart-shaped windshield, knowing exactly what it was. I hate when that happens.

I emailed it to my coworker last night. He's a big hot rod/classic car guy, and he got something like 96%. I thought he might get 100, but he blamed it on his reading glasses & his wife operating the iPad.

The pointy snout is distinctive.

If it wasn't for this car I picked up at a store I wouldn't have even guessed. Most of my knowledge on old cars come from collecting hot wheels.
