This was widely advertised, and took place in the Municipality of Anchorage's building, I'm sure every precaution has been taken, thank you.

Ours were performed by the state dental program. The head of Dental Health was there. The problems still existed. To be HIPPA compliant you must not be able to witness another patient's discussion with their doctor. I did a flu shot clinic once where I could have touched the next patient over.

The issue is that these things become so crowded that it is near impossible to do it properly.

State health laws may differ. Here a full face shield on the dentist is now required when working with either the spraying water or drills. I'm surprised we don't require some form of block between patients as well. We also had spit buckets for the patients to spit into after rinsing. They were red and there were dental school students who would empty, sanitize, and bring them back. The students had to wear different colored scrubs and gloves. If novocaine is used then at least one of the dentists in attendance has to be a DDS (dental surgeon) to supervise its use.

Thank you for your concern, however this is a photo thread. Please refrain from any other discussion.

thanks

Uh no. This is an internet forum. This thread is here in part to stimulate thought and discussion. I have no idea why you think that commenting on a photo posted in this thread is inappropriate, but you're wrong.

thanks

Hate to say it, but that is one ugly design. I'm sure it's effective, but..... ;)
Being combat effective is far not always meant to be looking elegant. That's the principle of the Soviet military engineering. And I think, having nothing unnecessary is the thing that makes these creations beautiful in my mind. :)

Due to unseasonably warm temperatures, melting sea ice strands trucks in Nome, it took about a dozen people and Alaska ingenuity to help bring them back.

FYI, these are the 'Bering Sea Gold' miners featured on the Discovery Channel.

I agree... So ugly they are beautiful... ;)

The chaos of war.
Beaufighters from 144 & 254 Sqdns RAF, 455 Sqdn RAAF & 489 Sqdn RNZAF attacking German 'M' class minesweepers escorting a convoy off the Dutch coast, NW of Borkum. Thirteen aircraft can be seen in the photograph, which was taken over the tail of a Beaufighter of 455 Sqdn.

And what it takes to support war. Ulithi Atoll, home to the 3rd Fleet in late 1944. The land in the foreground is one of several depot islands surrounding the anchorage.

Eurofighter Typhoon going through the Mach Loop in Wales. I found the link here.
I remember going there about 6 years ago when I went camping in Wales. Being eye level with fighter jets in flight is a fantastic sight, and very loud ;). I don't remember seeing Eurofighters flying there though, I think they were Hawk T1's.

The Mach Loop is definitely some place that's on my bucket list. And those lava meets ocean shots... you couldn't pay me to get that close to lava when at the mercy of the tide :S
