Why yes, I do think Euler diagrams are cool. Explaining all the intrinsic workings of "Europe".

I don't see Marilyn even stepping back to the point where my monitor is a small speck on the horizon... What's up with that?

Then you probably have better than 20/20 vision like I used to have. When I was 20 or so I was tested to have had 15/15 approximately. Eagles are said to have about 7/7. It's all in the shape of the eyeball and lens shape, plus the eye's elasticity when young. As we age, the eye and lens begin to lose that elasticity, making focusing a bit more difficult.
So it's a good thing that you can only see Einstein. You do see Einstein in the photo right and not someone else?

Well, it's either Einstein or Lech Walesa. :D

I'm 38yo, so my vision isn't that good anymore. Especially at far, since close up I see exceptionally well. Maybe I'm just a freak.

I sit in a corner of the room so can't physically move far enough back to see Marilyn. If i squint almost to the point of shutting my eyes i can just about make her out.

Pretty sure that's not how it works. 20/20 vision means that at 20ft you see the same as a "normal" person at 20ft. 15/15 means that at 15ft, you see the same as a "normal" person at 15ft, so they are pretty much the same thing.

If you meant 20/15, that would indicate that you see as clearly at 20ft as a "normal" person would at 15ft, meaning your eyes are better. An Eagle having 20/7 vision sounds about right, so that's probably what you meant :)
