Earlier this week, 1.5 million people filled the streets of Berlin, Germany to watch a several-day performance by France's Royal de Luxe street theatre company titled "The Berlin Reunion". Part of the celebrations of the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, the Reunion show featured two massive marionettes, the Big Giant, a deep-sea diver, and his niece, the Little Giantess. The storyline of the performance has the two separated by a wall, thrown up by "land and sea monsters". The Big Giant has just returned from a long and difficult - but successful - expedition to destroy the wall, and now the two are walking the streets of Berlin, seeking each other after many years apart.

Isn't that Jim Henson in the middle? Awesome guy and so talented when it came to his puppets/muppets.

Hope it never got too hot in there or the guy on the left would have a pretty stinky job. :lol:

Well it's cool to me;

:D
Next year I'm using my car to get higher up by standing on the roof in my socks :lol:

I never thought those prop planes were that fast
I'm sure the Blue Angel was at the lower end of his speed range too. But this guy is the same one I have seen in person put his biplane vertical and make it hover like a helicopter. It has a relatively strong engine in there.

Was that planned or did he just feel like messing with the Navy guy?
Likely planned. Airshows are extremely well choreographed and if it were just a small prank he'd likely lose his license or get a huge fine.

I have seen both him and the Blue Angels at Thunder Over Louisville and they did some stuff together, but not that. They probably do enough of the same airshows that they eventually started working together. He also participates in the generations of flight formation, where it is him in his biplane, a WWII era plane, and like an F16(?) in formation.
