Looks like it was a park employee....

Yellowstone National Park West District Ranger Michael Keator tells KTVQ channel 2 in Billings, Montana that the photo, which recently began circulating on the web, was taken by a park employee in April 2010, between the Madison Junction and Old Faithful, in the Fountain Flats area of Yellowstone National Park.

This is blatantly blowing my own trumpet but it's the first pumpkin I've ever carved and it's not bad even if I do say so myself.

I actually drove on that road shortly after they tore down the bridge. Pretty cool to watch it being done.
 
Nice vid!, though I admit i had to google "tilt shift" to figure out what you guys mean.
 
I've looked it up a few times now, and I still can't quite wrap my head around how it works. I mean, I know how depth of field works, it's how they're getting such a shallow depth of field from a long-distance shot that gets me. Some kind of special lens setup, if I recall?

I also did a triceratops for my other son but it's already outside so I'll have to take a picture later when it's all fired up.
