RCA graduate Marc Owens' Avatar Machine. The back-mounted camera projects yourself in third person to the goggles while you interact with your new environment.

Non line of site cannon my dad used to work on for BAE Systems. it was able to shoot single rounds at different heights for them all to arrive at one spot all at the same time.

Beware of screaming... might want to mute after he hits the water.

I have a problem with judged sporting events. Yes, I see a triple back flip as impressive. But I cannot tell you why this triple back flip is better than any other triple back flip. What is the difference between a 10 for this a 9.9 for another guy?

It's my biggest issue with many Olympic events. I watch and say, "Yay we won/lost because the judges think it was worth X points." And after the figure skating scandal a few years back my belief that there is an inherent flaw in the system was justified.

Yeah but look at that splash. It was a textbook dive... very impressive.

And... Keep in mind, until college I had never heard of a diving competition being held in the state of Kentucky. Basketball I get. This, not so much.

Yeah, really. I'm not one for diving, but to jump in the water from that height with that little a splash is impressive. If it was me, half of the water would be displaced.

To go along with my recent picture in the Amazing and Cool Picture Thread, this is most likely the last night time launch video of a space shuttle we will ever get to see.

And this ladies and gents is why yo buy a Subaru or an Audi...
Yet, in the last snow fall we had, my front wheel drive coupe, with not a lot of tread left on the tyres, made it up a slight incline that a Legacy did not...

What you meant was "This is why you should invest in a decent set of winter tyres". I just have to laugh at all the people who think they're going to even get there on summer tyres in those conditions. Seriously, you'd get there faster by foot.
