Jetboys has the runaway victory here and it all but looks to be set in stone. With 2 races to go and the results of the 2 season long events to take into consideration, maybe the same can't be said for bHawk's charge on Jump_Ace.

On a personal note ... with my own little struggle against Goixoye ... I clawed $100 closer, but will that be enough??? With only $100 currently gained by me at the Strip after Goixoye pulled off that amazing run yesterday and his continued dominance in the Point-to-Point, it leaves me with a $400 deficit and only 2 races to go. With Goixoye sure to take the Clubman, can I possibly gain that much ground on him on the streets of Hong Kong???

I hear alotta fish is eaten in Hong Kong. I'm going for the head to head victory against you there...it sure would help my cause in the final season standings. Besides I gotta be careful of r8man too. It would really hurt if you finished ahead and he snuk between us.

Well people, with just 1 week to go the Season's champion is probably all but cast in stone: Jetboys pretty much just has to ensure that he can get his Charger over the line this week to take the win 👍

Smaller battles to watch:
bhawk is now on jump_ace's rear bumper and looks strong enough to take 2nd place overall despite fewer races. Can Jump_Ace stave him off at the last second?

And in my battle with Goixoye ... I've closed the gap just a little more, and with just $300 in it, it's going to come down to the Drag Strip, Point-to-Point and this week's Clubman to see who can take 4th overall!

Talking of which ... don't forget guys that this week is also the final week for these two season long races ... so if you haven't submitted a time yet or think you can do better, you've got slightly less than 7 days to get your runs in!

This time next week I'll be compiling results from Clubman, Point to Point and the Drag Strip, so there are lots of points up for grabs!!!

To all others: What a splendid time I had racing against you guys! You provided such excelent competition for these eight weeks, and nothing like a little drama to keep it going. (Goix, Koly) I only hope mine will be this fun! 👍

Guys ... what can I say?

The American Muscle Series is finally over and Jetboys takes it home in true daunting style.

bhawk and jump_ace had a great tussle over the last few weeks for 2nd and 3rd place, with jump_ace taking top honors due to a better run on the point-to-point challenge, but only after bhawk momentarily had him after his strong drag strip run.

I brought up 4th after a slow start to the season, fighting with Goixoye all the way and only edging him out after winning at Clubman: without that, we would have been in a dead heat!!!

This series was my first and I truly hope you all enjoyed it. Personally, I had a blast organizing it, balancing the cars, running it and - more importantly - racing alongside you each and every week. I have enjoyed the opportunity in getting to know you all a little better and value the friendly rivalries this series helped nurture.

Seriously guys, thank you very, very much for being part of this.

In the future, if any of you run series of your own, you cans bet I'll be an avid participant. Until then, I'll see you all on other tracks and in other cars

A special congrats to Koly you earned/deserved the position. I thought I had you with my leap frog over you and bhawk (I believe) at the Nurb but then he came back and put me in my place...and of course you blew my doors off at the Clubman with your blistering final sector. I think the dragstrip turned out to be my down fall (any tips as to how to make the Shelby quicker would be appreciated...I think I tried everything). But if I'd placed just one position higher anywhere in the 10 events we'd tied.

Also a special well done for putting this together which includes your team (forgive me for not mentioning them by name as I am in the "reply" window -- I believe you listed them in post 1 of this thread -- or somwhere).

This was my 1st series in OLR and I don't see how it can get any better than this. I've never been so satisfied with a 5th place finish in all my life.

Just for giggles...as I was waiting for the results I re-ran the WRS qualifier. After just 4 laps I bested my ghost by 0.546...which would put me in the tail end of Div 2. I stopped after 4 laps. So in 3 months I've made significant progress thanks to you folks. If I'd run more laps who knows how much improvement I'd see. But this way I can come back in another 3 months and see where I am.

Goixoye, I think it fair to say that we've had some great tussles on the track and I really value the online rivalry we've developed: friendly and equally matched

I'd love to see you eventually get into D2 and can honestly say that I'd probably race more each and every week that you also raced, because I think we could carry this rivalry on for quite some time!!!

Until then, I am sure to see you in other series and continue to let me know where you are racing, so I can put my name right next to yours.
