the Apex magazine

Excellent, thank you. Sorry for not responding to your request for help, I'd gone to cook dinner and missed it.

No problem, hopefully tomorrow we'll have our answer! I just hope they don't say something like "we don't know" or something like that...

To me, that is just plan stupid.👎
Why only give EU 200 pages, and the US 300?:grumpy:
Wouldn't it be better if they just gave everyone 300 pages?
Then I will not need to pre-order through Amazon.com:nervous:

Yeah whats in the extra 100 pages? The apex mag would give us a list of included tracks given it has a course guide,we need a pick of the course list page!

As scope72 said, and I totally agree, those 100 pages "extra" are for lists of cars and circuits that are in the Signature Edition, exclusive to Europe, in the coffee table book, the Collector's Edition will not have those lists, and as a European It bothers me a lot.

This is why in the UK site says this:

Collector's Edition

• 200+ page ‘Apex’ driver’s magazine with hints on driving technique, car tuning, future technologies and more

Signature Edition

As well as the game, the ‘Apex’ driver’s magazine and the ChromeLine car pack, you’ll get:

• A Signature Edition coffee table book featuring the beautiful cars and locations of Gran Turismo

GRan Turismo EU Site.

And like there isn't a Signature Edition in America and Japan Collector's Edition will have those lists in the Apex Magazine it self, like it says in the US site:

In addition to the standard edition, a special Collector's Edition is also available for pre-order. The Collector’s Edition ($99.99 MSRP) features a must-have collection of exclusive items hand-picked for Gran Turismo fans, including a 1:43 scale collectible diecast car, a 300-page guide to cars and racing techniques, a GT-branded key chain, a voucher for five (5) DLC cars, and a numbered certificate of authenticity, all housed in stylish, premium packaging.

Gran Turismo US site.

this is your brain on drugs:

I actually think that the "Signature Edition coffee table book" is a high gloss photo book of all the premium cars in photo mode locations

While the Apex book will be the same for all regions, and the 200+ is actually lost in translation like the number of tracks issue.

Car lists, track lists and coffee table book don't go together. Coffee table books are mostly photographs. It might have nice shots of premium cars and tracks but I don't see APEX material going in there.
Let's not get bothered by assumptions.

I was thinking this too with the coffee table book. More of an 'art of' type book. I would expect to see images of the cars like we have seen these 18MP screenshots. I would expect the coffee table book to be more of a showoff of the premium cars and just how much work went into them.

You can believe what you want, of course, I just say what I understand by reading the official website of GT and the webs of the stores online. The US and JP Apex Magazines will have 300 pages, and considering that the last 2 chapters are the list of cars and the list of tracks, according to the index of the Japanese version, and seeing that the list of cars begins on the 220, according to the latest pictures we've seen, it fits perferct with the 200+ pages of EU Apex Magazine, with the last two chapters, the lists of cars and tracks, in the coffee table book of the Signature Edition.

As I said, you can believe what you want of course, but that is what I understand, and if you buy the EU Collector's Edition, like I will, don´t be surprised if you don´t find any listings in the Apex Magazine, unfortunately :( .

Look, I'm pretty sure the Apex is the same everywhere and it's typical incorrect info. The 'coffee table book' contains pictures I believe.

And for all you Americans saying we're getting more than you, you're getting an R35 model and a key chain for $100 which works out at about £70

I always buy books connected to my serious hobbies so the Apex book is a natural. But coffee table book? No. I saw a picture somewhere and its more like a Barbie-table book.

Its quite small you see.

^^^ Holy crap! Where did you get that?

Edit: Looks like it's from the official site. However, I cannot find it on there.

It's the only thing from the SE/CE that I want.

Oh well... I guess that's the price I have to pay for my frugality!

At least you have your priorities straight. The book is also what I'm gonna miss most from the CE.

I dont think its available right now unless someone already has the game ( wich of course we know some do )

I don't know why at some point down the road PD wouldn't want to make this available to everyone. I would easily throw down $15-20 for the Apex book if it could be purchased separately, and I'm sure many other GT fans would too.
