Or it'll be done with 200 pages in English and then a condensed version in another language. I'm pretty sure that's what it will be, since the US is one country it would make more sense for them to put the two most common languages into a single book than to try and sell two separate language versions of the game.
I don't think so... Sony has decided to sell Playstation 3 in Brazil just months ago, instead of Mexico, where it has been sold for years... Mexico has a market much more solid than Brazil, at least for Sony's eyes
I'm still wondering what I should do... But I'm afraid I'll buy whatever version is available here in Brazil on November 2nd![]()
I really doubt that the US version of the Apex book is going to be in two separate languages.
What's the probability of Sony answering me if I e-mail them asking this?
Personally, I think the real answer is not going to be very popular. The Apex book is 300+ pages in the U.S. because it will have the cars and tracks. Where as in Europe it will only have 200+ pages because the coffee table book will have that info.
So, my assumption is that if you live in Europe and you want everything that will be in the U.S. edition... you will have to buy the Signature Edition.
The reason I think that is simple. It basically says it on the site.
From the UK Site:
Collector's Edition
200+ page Apex drivers magazine with hints on driving technique, car tuning, future technologies and more
Signature Edition
-As well as the game, the Apex drivers magazine and the ChromeLine car pack, youll get:
A Signature Edition coffee table book featuring the beautiful cars and locations of Gran Turismo
From the US Site:
Collector's Edition Content Details:
-In-depth 300-page car-lovers guide written by the experts at Polyphony Digital, covering everything from the history of the modern automobile to driving techniques and game reference material
Then again, the Collectors Edition in Europe is significantly less. So, it's not entirely unfair. But I guess thats easy for me to say.
One in a million! Lol, I e-mailed them once about putting GT1 and GT2 on the PSN like 2 months ago and still no reply![]()
I repeat my question: will they answer me?
I think that's why the US version has 100 more pages?
Same page size but bigger font is also a possibility...
I guess there's only one way to find out.![]()
Ok, so who should I mail, SCEA? SCEE? SCE? PD?
Or better, can someone get me the e-mail address of the guys I should ask?
http://us.playstation.com/support/ask/
Choose "games" and then "playstation 3 games" in the two drop downs. It will say for U.S. I tried to find the Portuguese version but I don't know Portuguese. So, I was unable to tell which one says "contact us" once I got there. But I don't really think it will matter.
As I live in Canada if half my apex book is french I'll be pissed. Now if I get a second french one like we usually do that won't be so bad.

Could be but part of me doubts that. I would put more money on them just throwing us something extra since they aren't offering us the SE.
Well ok, that's more of a hope than anything.
I know what you mean, it would really be a stab in the back for me!
Edit: Since when is "Usually" ? You only get it once.
In Canada, French is an official language, so packaging and contents of goods sold here must have both English and French versions of documentation. As far as I know, in the US, English is the only official language. A part of me thinks that the Apex book will be published in different languages for different parts of the world. Has anyone seen information about languages in pre-orders?
