the Apex magazine

If we'll find it in the used cars lot, it makes sense having more years of the same car. But then that would confirm (as common sense would) that for PD is not a problem duplicating premium cars to increase their number when possible (I'm thinking of different variations/facelifts/model years/etc), changing small details in the process.

I really want to know if there's any difference betwen US Apex book and EU Apex book! I looked at pictures of them and I saw that the US Apex book is BLACK inside but the EU Apex book is white inside just like normal paper!!! Please Help!

Regarding the EU one have 200+ pages and the US/JPN having 300+ plages, do you think that the EU edition might not have the car list in the back? I hope not.

Wait, what? The EU version only has 200 pages? Where did you see that? Is that a confirmed information or is it just something that someonesaid?

For those worried about the size of the European Apex, just ask on the UK PSblog the next time they post something about GT5. It should be something that they can clear up pretty easily.

I'll do it for a special price just for you, £29.99.

I think the difference in pages is best explained already as one version catering for two languages in one book for the US whereas in Europe the language will be according to the country you buy the game in.

No one is willing to do it for free...well i'm blown. :dunce:

To be honest it would take ages to scan 200 pages. If you want it that much you could always just buy the collectors edition 💡

The question is though, It's almost impossible to get my sweaty latin hands in a CE copy ( that may sound wrong...sweaty hands due to GT anxious syndrome...), there will be no official release of the CE or SE around here, and people are entrusting some dirty sellers lots of cash ( in the north of U$300,00 ) without any warranty for the items. :grumpy:

The first one to scan all the pages and upload high-res picks to imageshack wins..... a virtual cookie. :) C'mon Neal, I know you'd kill for a cookie.

Fair point. I guarantee someone will have it scanned and uploaded before me so I wouldn't worry too much although I do like cookies...

First time I ever heard that. So now we'll only have 150 pages in English and 150 in spanish?
Mkay.

Or it'll be done with 200 pages in English and then a condensed version in another language. I'm pretty sure that's what it will be, since the US is one country it would make more sense for them to put the two most common languages into a single book than to try and sell two separate language versions of the game.

No, it has to be a mistake, seriously, if they cut 100 pages of content from it I'll cancel my pre-order!

Can someone please tell us when they get the European CE if it has indeed only 200 pages? If so I'll cancel my pre-order and buy the regular version! All the 6 chapters that come in the magazina are important to me, if some of it is missing it ain't worth it!

If it was a typo, it would have been caught a long time ago. Doubt it's a typo. If you are pre ordering, aren't you getting it on release day then, just like anyone else??

No, I pre-ordered it for the Stealth cars, I'll only be playing GT5 on Christmas because of school so if I buy the game 2nd November or 23rd Dedcember, it won't matter because I'll only play it the 24th December...

But probably I'll wait a day or two to see if the magazine is indeed a smaller version of the one americans and Japanese are getting, if so, I'll cancel it and buy the normal version, I'll only lose the 1€ I paid for the pre-order... I've done it before with other games so I don't see what's wrong with it.

Don't lose your hopes, Here in México the preorder for the Collector Edition just begun last saturday ( I literally run to my game store to preordered xD ), so, why wouldn't be happening in Brazil Soon ?👍

Personally, I think the real answer is not going to be very popular. The Apex book is 300+ pages in the U.S. because it will have the cars and tracks. Where as in Europe it will only have 200+ pages because the coffee table book will have that info.

So, my assumption is that if you live in Europe and you want everything that will be in the U.S. edition... you will have to buy the Signature Edition.

The reason I think that is simple. It basically says it on the site.

From the UK Site:

Collector's Edition
• 200+ page ‘Apex’ driver’s magazine with hints on driving technique, car tuning, future technologies and more

Signature Edition
-As well as the game, the ‘Apex’ driver’s magazine and the ChromeLine car pack, you’ll get:
• A Signature Edition coffee table book featuring the beautiful cars and locations of Gran Turismo

From the US Site:

Collector's Edition Content Details:
-In-depth 300-page car-lover’s guide written by the experts at Polyphony Digital, covering everything from the history of the modern automobile to driving techniques and game reference material

Then again, the Collectors Edition in Europe is significantly less. So, it's not entirely unfair. But I guess thats easy for me to say.

I don't think so... Sony has decided to sell Playstation 3 in Brazil just months ago, instead of Mexico, where it has been sold for years... Mexico has a market much more solid than Brazil, at least for Sony's eyes :indiff:

I'm still wondering what I should do... But I'm afraid I'll buy whatever version is available here in Brazil on November 2nd :)
