I don't know if this qualifies as a vintage car, it looks so slick and cool:

I never liked hearses, but this one is just so perfectly done for the occasion:

Wow. 105 years old, unrestored, less than 1000 miles, and still in good driving condition. That’s amazing.

The American Underslung was a great car. America made some impressive sports cars back in the 1910s.

1914 Stutz Bearcat. The Bearcat was made from 1912 to 1924 with revivals continuing for decades by Stutz and others.

1913 Mercer Raceabout. The Raceabout was the Bearcat’s closest competitor in terms of specs, racing success and prestige. It was made from 1910 to the company’s demise in 1925.

The Stutz Bearcat and Mercer Raceabout is probably the oldest automotive rivalry. Like a Mustang vs. Camaro or an STi vs. Evo. Stutz owners would say, “There is nothing worser than a Mercer.” and Mercer owners would say “You have to be nuts to buy a Stutz.”

Edit: I’ve seen an early ‘20s Mercer Raceabout but never one from the early teens. However, I’ve seen this 1914 Stutz Bearcat at the 2017 Milwaukee Concours ‘d Elegance. It was part of the “speed then and now” class parked next to the 2017 Ford GT. Despite being a barebones sports car, the proportions of the Stutz is pretty impressive to see in person.

In the 1910s/1920s, America's premiere luxury cars were known as "The Three Ps": Packard, Pierce-Arrow and Peerless. Many Packard and Pierce-Arrows of that era still exist, but very few Peerless cars. The reason was World War II. Peerless used a high amount of aluminum in their construction, therefore many Peerless cars (which were by this point considered nothing more than old cars with little value) were scrapped for their metal.

1927 Peerless Boattail Speedster. I love roadsters and other open cars from the 1920s. I love the Roaring Twenties vibe.

Just adding a couple more Cords, because every 810/812 is a work of genius.
