Also, I think Fergus is past it. He should step down before their title hopes really fade to nothing. I also heard Wenger say he would buy up Mutu if he had the chance :scared:

Fergi has retired once already! There is just no one to replace him. Hopes fading to nothing, don't be crazy :) , there is still an enormous amount of talent in that squad, even with me as the manager there is a good chance they'd finish in the top 5.

btw where did you get that "go the gooners" quote from...I'm sure I didn't say that anywhere

As long as the Neville brothers are there, all ManU can hope to win is the Coca-Cola Championship next year :)

Oh, i found that quote in the same place as the one where I said something about Pee We Herman

Whoever replaces Fergie is going to get so much bad press and comparison though. It's a tough job to fill his boots.

Did anyone see the masterpiece playing by Ambrose of Newcastle. That was a superb goal. See NUFC are good............... Some of the time

I was surprised that Chelski where whining that Mutu got odd lightly  I am sure that inspires confidence in their current players.

He got off lightly compared to Rio, although I think they suspected Rio of lying wheras Mutu admitted he took drugs and said he wanted help. And i'd assume it would inspire them not to take recreational drugs more than anything else, which makes some sort of sense.

I was *cough* being sarcastic about inspiring players 👍

As in, management-don't-support-their-players-when-the-players-hit-the-hard-times.

So what would the allmighty Arsenal do then?

I wished that they didn't fire Mutu although I liked the way he played and he's quite versitaile able to play in a few different positions as well, it's mainly down to Chelseas chairman. But then again I liked Crespo as well.

You player?

What?

Well the Russian money has gone to his head. Sometimes I wonder what Chelsea would be like if Abramovitch never came and I think probably somewhere around 5th or 6th.

And being beaten by Spurs :scared:

I hope 'City produce last years result and send Fergus packing.

Against Spurs or City?

My thoughts exactly. I hate Chelsea and everything the club stands for. I hope they fail in all they try to succeed in. It's all fake, and the funniest thing is that the stupid ass supporters think that it's great. Instead it's all a dillusion. Even though my team West Ham are floundering in the Coca Cola championship, it would break my heart if the same happened to them. I would just abandon them and follow England. Now that Arsenal have drawn to another lowly club Chelsea have again won by a single goal and are at the top of the Premiership. Does anyone with some sense especialy Chelsea supporters share my views? Hopefully one day the players will see the light and leave this artificial club. Abramovic has no reason to infect football with his money and should just **** off.

Grrrr :yuck: Very disappointing result for Man Utd...

@demon of speed: Did you have a bad day or something ;) New money injected into the Premiership can only be a good thing. It attracts the best players from all over the world and makes it the most exciting league...and the one they all want to play for. Forget Serie A. I don't know what you mean by "fake" their position at the top of the table today shows that their performance is certainly not fake ;)

The Premiership has been attracating the best players in the world for years. What I meant by fake was that without those millions pumped into Chelsea, the club would be pushing for 6th to 4th place. And sorry about the treble post, the pc I used last night was playing up. Can't really explane it.

I don't even think they would be in the top half of the table without Abromovich ;) The club went through a complete overhaul.

All the clubs need sponsors and huge donations to pay the massive wages (£100,000 per week in some clubs..although Chelsea is quite stingy at a mere £50,000 max )..only two clubs in UK operate in the black, all others are in debt.

With the exception of Pompey...that is a fairy tale. How Redknapp has managed to climb up through division one, get promted and stay up, and rise to 10th with a budget of £4.23 is amazing 👍

Personally I welcome Chelski's challenge, its been a two horse race for too many seasons recently ( what happened to Liverpool )...just how long Abromo will stick around before he sells it on is not clear, after all he is a businessman...a very good one, albeit the questionable background and source of his original millions, but he did quite legitimately turn them into billions

At least you still recognise that the Premiership has the best players 👍

I know all about senoir Hazza, after all he managed my beloved Hammers for years on nothing but a shoe string. We even won the Mickey mouse cup and got into Europe.

I think Abramovic is the kind of bloke that would ditch a business venture if it seemed unsucessful. Chelsea must win something this year.

Whatch out for Liverpool this year, I can see them coming 3rd come May, but I think Micheal Owen staying would have made the club a title contender. At least Gerrard is making a return soon.

I agree with that 👍 , he is a businessman first and will no doubt sell the club at a huge profit when he thinks it to be at its peak.

There is a lot of glamour around Premiership football that he enjoys, but his heart is not in the game like, for example Keegan. I have to give props to Kevin, for his teams performance today. SOLID defence and commitment
He gave a pretty emotional post match interview, and you could see just how much it meant to him to take 1 point away from Old Trafford. He was even respectful to Fergie, who is as close as an arch rival to him as anyone, ever since the Newcastle mind games. Keegan would stay with city through thick and thin and they have had a pretty bad run lately, I hope they avoid the drop zone.

Still...I see Abromo's building up of Chelsea as a good thing, and I expect them to qualify for Europe by coming second, and since Utd can't seem to score, I'll let you have Liverpool as third ;)

Don't lose faith in the beautiful game :)

btw Pompey is my home town, and its been pretty exciting having the big clubs travel down here to play at Fratton, and stuff you Scumhampton...where are you in the table

No. 1 I'll never lose faith as long as there is grass roots football and youth academies.

No. 2 It's not about where we are now, it's where we will be in August.
