And the point of your post was?

And Fifa 05? Why do you insist on playing such rubbish footie games?

I strongly second that.

LONDON (Reuters) - Arsenal will play in a dark red home strip next season, ditching the famous white-sleeved red shirts they have worn since 1925.

The new shirts, inspired by the first kit worn at Highbury by the club's players in 1913, will be worn at home matches for one year to mark Arsenal's last season at Highbury before they move to a new stadium at nearby Ashburton Grove.

Club researchers discovered that before 1925 the Arsenal shirts worn at Highbury were much darker than the familiar bright red shirt with white sleeves, the Arsenal's official website reported on Friday.

In fact the shade of red was more akin to the maroon shirts currently worn by Czech side Sparta Prague, who based their kit on Arsenal's original strip.

"I think the kit is great. It's back to the roots, back to what the first kit was like," said striker Thierry Henry. "I like the fact that it's traditional and it is exactly how it was at the beginning of Highbury.

"This is the proper colour, right from the start of our time here, I'm sure people will appreciate that and will like it."

Champions Arsenal plan to move into their new 60,000-capacity stadium in north London for the start of the 2006-07 season. Highbury has a capacity of 38,500.

Haha. They'll be more red then the "reds".

Dude, you are totally copying Prague. You Prague copiers.

Ps, weve ditched Umbro as our kit sponsor so this season is the last time you'll see that kit. Mind you i've got this seasons one as my old Autoglass sponsored one is too small and falling appart.

Oh and i've heard Rumours of CSKA moskow doing a trade for Kezman for Vagner Love. To be honest I think that's not going to happen and I do like Kezman who has been pretty unlucky hitting the post several times. But he's done well in support play.

Varger Love? That poor finisher :yuck: ;)

Actually as we a reverting back to our original kit, it is pre-praha kits days :D

PS: Liverpool smell.

Just because you can't use him in PES doesn't mean he isn't good, although I doubt that trade will happen.

And yes that Pelegreno bloke Liverpool signed is awfull, although I dunno I recon they need a bit of time to start playing decent football again. I mean the amount of injurys they have had this season.

Oh yeah and Edu is going to Spain probably.

They dont really need Kezman or Love. I mean they have Gudjohnson, Drogba, er, and some other guys who i cant remember :grumpy:

Sometimes you guys seem to get a bit uptight,so I thought...... Well I just wanted to give you sheite.

FIFA rulz. It beats any WE games A.K.A. Pro Evolution Soccer.

:indiff:

Fifa is more like Burnout. All arcade fun. PES is more like GT4 - all realism.

Anyway, back on topic to how much Newcastle stank vs Arsenal :D

Why does it always seem that Chelski play before Arsenal? It has been nearly every weekend since they went top. It means that there is added pressure on Arsenal to keep up as Chelski always win their game :(

If we win the premiership (I say if, not when) I hope you won't use that as an excuse.

Ps, did anyone see Robbens goal? Quite awesome i'd say, although Lampard made a few mistakes leading to chances by Portsmouth.

Oh and does Bellamy get on with anyone? And Mike has always been a gooner, not some stupid toon fan.

Nice too see some gunners in the house namely Drift4eva and Mike. Robbens goals was quite good actually, i'll give it to him. Anyone see Hasselbainks nice cheeky maneouvre that resulted in one of the four goals scored by Middlesborough. That was quite good too!!!

I aint never been a boocastle supporter :grumpy: Yea, robbens goal was pretty good, i'll give him that.

Shame i read about Bellamy, being made "to play out of position" like that :indiff:. Man, you'd think he had the quality of shearer the way he was moaning.

I remember Chelski playing Pmopey like 3 weeks ago, why the playing so soon again :odd:

ROME (Reuters) - Lazio striker Paolo di Canio faces a disciplinary hearing over making what appeared to be a fascist salute to fans after scoring against rivals Roma, the Italian Football Federation said on Monday.

Photographs of Di Canio giving the long-armed salute favoured by wartime dictators Benito Mussolini and Adolf Hitler flashed around the world after Lazio's 3-1 win in the Rome derby on January 6.

The player, who has in the past expressed his admiration for Mussolini, said there was no political intent in his gesture.

"I am a professional footballer and my celebrations had nothing to do with political behaviour of any kind," he said.

But the federation has called on Di Canio to explain himself.

"Leaving aside any political interpretation of the gesture, Di Canio's behaviour conflicts with the principles of fair play, propriety and integrity," a statement said.

In his autobiography the striker said he was "fascinated" by Mussolini and that the dictator has been "deeply misunderstood" and was "basically a very principled, ethical individual".

Him and Bosnich should get together for a drink 👎

I though it was hillarious, but apparently in Italy it's one of the worst things to do. I'm assuming it goes back to WWII.
