Good day, readers!

As of this writing, I shall put this story on hiatus, as I am hoping that the next update would have "Lounge" with it. I need to do duels, and I cannot just ask a volunteer who would actually buy a car just for those, and there are cars in this story that are expensive as hell.

Don't worry, I won't kill this story off like what I did in the past. It will go on.
PM me, I did the glitch, and have quite a few expensive ones. The show must go on! You can give me a list. I currently have about 14mil, and can grind the rb silverstone for more.

To keep you entertained while putting the story on hold, I shall resume the mini-events that took place before the start of Takuma Gaiden: Dream Alliance 3. After all, you deserve to know some facts behind the cars that will appear in the future stories.

I am hoping that the Lounge is back. I cannot make a room in the Lobby where everyone can just barge in. The Lounge is specifically created for you and your friends to enjoy, and I prefer that, especially when doing duels or just having fun with the select group of people.

A Mother's Will

Location: Tsukuba Circuit, Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan
Time: 10 am

Oh hello there, guys! Since the story of my father's path to glory is put on hold thanks to some circumstances, it's my turn now. Go smoke somewhere else, Dad.

Anyway, with that sorted, let's go!

I'm here in Tsukuba, just tagging along with Takanori, who is doing a review of the FIAT 500 Abarth. I did my part, though, in testing a family hatchback at a winding road not too far away earlier.

12770037645_8228d07167_c.jpg

He did a couple of laps as part of the review, and the fastest recorded is at 1 minute and 6.7 seconds. Pretty impressive, I must say, for a Front-wheel drive hatchback.

And then the crew prepared their cameras at the track, and then Takanori had finally stopped in front of them.

12770035425_17ee362883_c.jpg

He stepped out, and is ready to deliver his line.

Takanori: "This special, limited edition of the 500 Abarth takes the already impressive hot hatch to a different level. The cramped passenger area, the small boot, and the harsh ride would be easily forgotten, and the fuel economy, the everyday drivability are still acceptable despite the modifications. Plus, the roads are now infested with MINIs, so this one would definitely make you stand out! And despite the price, this car will easily tell you that it's money well-spent because of the way this car delivers fun. So, if you want a fast, fun, and easy to drive hot hatch, then this car is worth a serious look.

And it's back to studio."

Director: "Cut! Good job! We shall view the finished segment tomorrow at the office. Let us pack up!"

While the production crew is at it, Takanori drinks coffee. And both of us are wondering on something...

Takanori: "Aniki, Nobuhiko-san hasn't been going to work for 2 days straight. Something happened to him?"

Takuma: "He called in sick yesterday, and he suddenly didn't bother coming today, either. I am feeling for Big Nobu right now. He's lonely again in the rather creepy office of ours."

Takanori: "He can turn on the music if he wants to..."

Takuma: "You know, there's no lady in white that will come out from the TV screen in our office. So he has nothing to worry about. Tomorrow...

...I will review another Ferrari. Damn... it's hard to give an unbiased review on a car you really loathe."

Takanori: "What's the problem with the 458 Speciale? I think it's cool!"

Takuma: "I'd rather review a Dacia Sandero over a Ferrari 458. And it would be... "GOOD NEWS!!!" if Dacia or Renault would sell it here.

Yuki takes a break from testing an upcoming Honda model by taking out his NSX for a hot lap.

12770500394_fe0b87f7fd_c.jpg

Yuki: "The turbocharger did help this car exit the corners faster."

12770497904_ef1635a197_c.jpg

Yuki: "I wonder though, if this can match Nobu-senpai's Supra..."

Meanwhile, at the pit lane, Nobuhiko arrives, with a bandage wrapped around his forehead. He talks to Goto, Yuki's colleague.

Nobuhiko: "Where's Yuki-kun?"

Goto: "Nobuhiko-san! Oh, what happened to your head?"

Nobuhiko: "Don't mind that... well, it's just a little mishap 2 days ago. So, what car are you testing?"

Goto: "The upcoming Civic Type R and as well as improving the HSV-010 racing car, as Yuki-kun found faults in it, such as the mediocre acceleration. He is currently taking a break, doing a hot lap in his NSX."

12770493964_ce62b4a50f_c.jpg

Yuki: "I haven't forgotten the day you taught me how to drive the NSX, Nobu-senpai... Simple, but very helpful."

12770046515_d4ce91b3a5_c.jpg

Goto: "Oh there he is."

Nobuhiko: "Looking sharp as ever. And very bright color..."

12770043845_2f7a342331_c.jpg

The NSX records a lap time at 1:57.6, which took Nobuhiko by surprise. Not only it's faster than Takuma's matte brown FD3S, but also Nobuhiko's Supra.

Nobuhiko: "That's my kohai! Wait... why bother calling him that? We're equals."

Having notified that his Senpai wants to see him, Yuki returns to the pit lane.

Nobuhiko: "Wow! You totally broke my lap time!"

Yuki: "Senpai! What happened to you!?"

Nobuhiko: "Well..."

12770040705_651529aac1_c.jpg

Nobuhiko: "Two days ago, I crashed the Elise at the touge since I'm still perfecting the one-hand steer technique. So this explains the bandage on my head.

Forget about that, and I can't believe you've defeated my lap time. You are not my junior anymore. You can just call me by my first name only."

Yuki: "Senpai... I believe you're still better than me. I am expecting your next lap time being faster than the one today."

Nobuhiko: "Now now... don't say that. You'll never move up if you think that way. Race car drivers, including you, all have this mentality of "I am faster than anyone"."

Goto: "Pardon me if I barge in, but I think we should be tackling the issue of the HSV-010."

Yuki: "About that... the engine must have nice pickup from low RPMs. That's something high-revving engines don't have. Maybe we could adjust the powerband, and I won't mind if we lower the max RPM."

Nobuhiko just observes the conversation.

Nobuhiko: "Impressive... You're growing, at a fast rate, Yuki-kun. Keep that up. Keep learning on new things too, in your field of work."

Goto: "On to another topic, though. I think there is something you should know, and that's one thing I want to tell you for a long time. It's in my mind whenever I see your NSX, but when we're doing other stuff, it's always slipping away from my tongue."

Yuki: "What is it?"

Goto: "Have you read your mother's will?"

Yuki: "I... haven't."

Goto: "It's been 2 years after her death and yet you haven't read it? You know, even our boss is involved into this already. Why don't you ask your grandma? She knows a lot about it."

**************************************************************************************

Location: Suzue's home, Gunma Prefecture, Japan

Time: 7 pm

Instead of heading to Tokyo after the testing, Yuki immediately pays a visit to his grandmother in order to ask for the will.

Suzue: "Oh Yuki! I'm glad to see you! What brings you here? You should have told me, so that I can cook for you."

Yuki: "I'm here just to ask. What's in Okaasan's will? I have to know..."

Suzue: "Sigh... I've waited for this day. Oh well...

Yuki: "Goto-san told me that you know something about it, as it is related to my work."

Suzue: "Come."

Suzue leads Yuki to a small room wherein a safe is found. She enters the correct combination, and then she takes a car key from inside.

Suzue: "Aside from inheriting her wealth, this is the other content of her will. I thought you're not interesting in driving back then. According to it, once you reach 18, you will inherit this "special car", it says."

Yuki: "A special... car?"

Suzue: "It's tucked away in the headquarters in Tokyo, where you work. I thought you would notice it too."

Yuki firms his hold on the key.

Yuki: "Okaasan..."

**************************************************************************************

Location: Honda Headquarters, Minato, Tokyo
Time: 10 am, the next day.

After finishing some mechanical work on the upcoming Civic Type R, Yuki takes the break time finding out what's in store for him. Holding the key firmly once again, he heads to an empty garage that used to store prototypes that have been discarded.

He takes off the dusty cloth that covers the car.

12770173343_3b38757d85_c.jpg

Goto comes in, and also takes a look.

Goto: "You might be wondering back then why your mother comes home very late for the last 2 years of her life. She had been working for this... slowly, but surely. This car, was finished during the day of her death, minutes before she collapsed and rushed to the hospital. She passed out in front of this very car.

Even though she steered you away from driving, she built this car out of love, knowing that one day, you'll realize how difficult the world of racing is."

12770476714_66b6cb3d00_c.jpg

Goto: "So... now is the time to experience... all the efforts your mother have put in this car. Now go...

...drive it."

Yuki: "Okaasan, you dedicated your life for this car. You did it all for me..."

END

AUTHOR'S NOTES:

The NSX has 608 PP, and it's really sad for me to say that it's better than Little Nobu's Castrol Supra.

The color? That's because I want an ARTA NSX without the stickers. I am fond of plain-body race cars, because the liveries conceal the lines of the car, and that fondness started when I was collecting miniature scale models. Scale model versions of racing cars even the high quality ones have liveries that can be easily peeled off, hence my choice of plain body racing cars. And the inclusion of Base Model versions of racing cars made me happy, as I want to come up my own color scheme for some of them.

More of these mini-events will be posted, until the duels for The Boom are done. Wait for further notice too.

Yeah.. the NSXs are always better than what they compete with. Shows how Senna did one hell of a job supervising it.

Although, in all fiction so far, the new NSX concept seems to revolve around death and the will of the dead. :D

I intend that to be a reference to Ayrton Senna. RIP driver of the last century. And I really hope The Boom gets going soon.

Goto: "So, would you give it a run?"

Yuki: "I... will."

Goto: "Let's go, then."

Yuki: "I want to see if this will pass my standards, if this will survive in the touge."

Goto: "Touge? Why there? It's dangerous."

Yuki: "A car's true handling characteristics, only the touge can determine that."

Goto: "For starters, it is a 4WD car. However, it's not the typical 4WD. It is 4WD thanks to the hybrid motor powering the front wheels and a 500 HP 3.5 liter V6 which is basically a street-spec version of the NSX GT500's engine powering the rear wheels."

Yuki: "I see. Let's move out."

The two head to the touge in Kanagawa prefecture. Upon arriving, Goto steps out of the car, and stands just at the shed.

Yuki: "Don't you want to ride with me?"

Goto: "I'm scared of your driving, especially here."

Yuki: "Okay, and I won't ditch you, then. It'll be quick, though."

The NSX sets off...

12791113235_b01acb9dfc_c.jpg

Goto: "He simply views the winding roads as his playground. The danger does not faze nor scare him at all. And once a person sits with him during his touge run... heh..."

12791110865_637a419066_c.jpg

Yuki: "The acceleration mirrors that of a GT500 car. VTEC engines are arguably the best naturally-aspirated engines ever. So the hybrid motor gives this car a boost too..."

12791545344_471b8e9bfc_c.jpg

Yuki: "And there's little oversteer at the corner exit. Perhaps this is different from a typical 4WD car. I'm not the person who tests Honda hybrid models, Goto-san does that."

12791207433_80d3a29742_c.jpg

Yuki: "And on the uphill, I can still feel the power. Perhaps there is more low-end torque.

But... why did she really create this car for me? I'm sure there's more to that than just being a will."

Yuki:
"The world shall witness the greatness of your creation, mother! I'll make that happen.

The NSX shall rise again...

...as the TRUE JAPANESE SUPERCAR!"

END

Author's Notes:

I know it's short, but there will be another page dedicated for Yuki and the NSX Concept. His rival, Shou, will appear once again for another race.

Just an update:

I now got the hang of creating a room in the Lobby. It's for "Friends Only" and I need volunteers.

First one would be a Rosso colored Dino 246 GT. 478 PP, 276 HP, SH tires. Suspension settings are up to you.

Rims: Classic Wire Knock Off 2Bar - Inch Up: 1 (this is optional)

I have a Dino, but I can only play in the evenings. It's been tuned higher than that, but I can limit power.

I know I'm the most suitable for this job...

But it's too bad I have to decline. I'll sit by the bleachers and wave a flag, maybe. :D

Dino is easy to get, but what car color is 'Rosso'? Is it Rosso Corsa or the Dino's own Rosso? And take what exhaust is it using into consideration.

Carmela: "Monza Circuit, Italy, on Saturday! That shall be the battleground!"

We heard that before Tomoko starts up her car. Then without further adieu, we left and head home.

Michiharu: "Did you hear that?"

Tomoko: "Of course. Now that's something to look forward to. I'm interested how I go up against the world."

Michiharu: "Italy? How far is that from here?"

Tomoko: "A bit far, if you ask me. But I don't mind the long trip, so as long as I can prove myself!"

Michiharu: "I guess you really are serious about this one."

Tomoko: "Indeed. I have to prove it to her how legendary the Lancia Stratos is. I cannot back down simply because she drives a Ferrari! Ferrari, Toyota, Nissan, Mercedes, or whatever brand it is, they're unique in every way, and I believe that class isn't just the way to determine which one is better. Your GT-R can beat a Dino, in the same way how Nissan defeated Porsche in touring car races."

I guess not... Well, it won't hurt unless I try, right? But getting in the topic, I admire Tomoko's determination. She's not going to back down against anyone, after all. I think women are slowly getting their presence known in the patriarchal society, and now, I just met one of them.

We arrived home, and Tomoko helps herself to a cup of tea while discussing to Gan what had transpired. Ben, on the other hand, is just lonely at the balcony, smoking. I wonder why he's alone? He's not like Hiroyuki, is he?

Ben: "So, how are things with your girlfriend?"

There he goes again... We're just friends, you balding chain smoker!

Michiharu: "We just had lunch... and talk. That's it."

Ben: "You're not going to woo her if you're that dull. Oh please... opposites attract, I know, but sometimes you have to make a move, and that's what men should do.

Care to have a smoke?"

I never smoked a cigarette. But it won't hurt unless I try. It's not that it will make you more manly, though.

I got a stick and he lights it up. And as I inserted the cigarette in my mouth, I immediately coughed.

Ben: "Typical first timer."

Though it kinda tastes good... menthol is his preference. Then I let out smoke like I'm used to it already.

Ben: "There you go. You learn so fast."

Michiharu: "I observe how people smoke."

Ben: "Observation, one of the best tools to learning. Come, let's have a drive."

I went along with him. I have to know my teammates more. I think Ben is not as cold as Hiroyuki. He's approachable, definitely, but still has his cool attitude.

We went to the garage, however we turned left and we entered a barn just beside it. He keeps livestock too?

I hear a bellow. And then right in front of me....

...is a big black bull!

Moooooooooo!

Ben: "Getting fatter than ever. Oh, here's my fighting bull, his name is also Countach."

Michiharu: "Why name a bull after your car?"

Ben: "Unlike most bulls, this doesn't look intimidating. He looks just as sleepy but aggressive as my car. I didn't enter him in any bullfighting event, though. This bull reminds me of me too. Oddly enough, whenever I need time for my thoughts, I just sit in front of this bull and think deeply.

Michiharu: "So... you also ran away from home?"

Ben: "That's right. Why ask that?"

Michiharu: "Because I did the same thing a month ago."

Ben: "It seems you and I are kindred spirits. Let's go, let's have a drive."

He opened the door on his side, and it's really an amazing sight to see that door open up vertically. No wonder the car is very loved and dreamed by many. But...

...how to open the door?

Ben: "Can't open the door?"

Michiharu: "How?"

Ben: "There's a little button down there, at the duct."

Oh there it is. I pressed it, and...

...wow, it's really a spectacle seeing how that door opens. Whoever designed the car is a total genius.

We left the chalet. Ben floored his Countach, and...

...whoa! It's scares me off! That speed... isn't this the one that Gan had mentioned, that can reach 320 KM/H? Judging on how the car accelerates, it has the ability to achieve such top speed!

12920526433_5c49c3279f_c.jpg

Ben: "Driving this car is pure joy. This is the only car that made me put out a genuine smile. Smiling isn't bad at all.

First time using this one though, and you'll hate it. The clutch is heavy, the pedals are sticking close to each other, the steering is heavy, the gear change is a bloody workout. Then parking this car is a total nightmare."

And seeing him change up a gear, it does look like the gear stick is heavy. But why keep this car if it has a lot of problems?

Ben: "However, you'll forget those easily. This car is not a total waste after all. You should have a hand on driving this next time."

At the next corner.... Whoa! The wall is like inches away from me! What precision!

12920523653_a171272bcf_c.jpg

Ben: "That's the character of the supercar. That's what defines them. And I believe the Countach has its own personality, that you have to live with it."

While cornering, I see his right foot seemingly half-pressed on the accelerator, and... playing with it?

Ben: "Keen observer, aren't you? This simple technique will save you from spinning out the Stratos, believe me."

Now we're getting off topic. Why did he ran away from home?

Michiharu: "So, why did you run away?"

12920834254_0c5460c8a9_c.jpg

Ben: "Oh, that... sorry that I have forgotten to answer it. Well, it's just that I want to set myself free from my binding chains of my father. He is actually turning me into him, which I don't want to. He's the reason why mother left the family. I want to be me. Being yourself is one of the best things in life. You'll never regret it. I shall show to him what I'm truly capable of, what I am without his grasp!

So, how about you?"

12920418855_73ea1a2d95_c.jpg

Michiharu: "My parents told me, that I'm an accident. They fight everyday for all my life, and then just like that, I ran away."

Ben: "You know, I could write a book about your life. But really, it feels light... that you ran away."

Michiharu: "Yes."

12920421515_52d241460a_c.jpg

Ben: "Let's stop by for a drink. We need a toast."

We stopped by at a bar. Ben treated me for a beer, and then he's up for a toast.

Ben: "To freedom."

Michiharu: "To freedom."

Cheers! Now time for a gulp. Ben is friendly after all, it's just that he doesn't look like it.

Ben: "You know, after I retire, I'll set up a racing team... a racing team that shall live on my examples. I shall turn them into beasts in the battlefield. I want to see their dreams realized too."

Such a nice dream you have. How about me? Well....

...to be honest, I don't know.

**************************************************************************************

Location: Autodromo Nazionale Monza, Italy
Time: Saturday, 10 am

We're the first to arrive. Tomoko is already excited about the battle. I've never seen her so lively. She has to pour all of that energy into the race if she intends to win.

Ben: "It's not a typical girl fight involving slapping nor pulling out each other's hair. We'll see tire smoke and blitzing cars instead."

Gan:
"Women are making their voices heard now. The world now takes a sudden turn."

And the red Dino arrives. The woman, Carmela, lines it up at the start line.

Carmela: "Let's race. 3 laps around this track."

Ben: "A Dino, eh? Enzo Ferrari named it after his dead son, which ironically, only bestowed on cars that have less than 12 cylinders. That's not what you really call paying homage. Oh, that pride-filled Italian, who only has pride, I'm afraid."

Gan: "You must hate Enzo Ferrari a lot, huh?"

Ben: "I've met him when my father had a discussion with him. I already hate him the moment he opened his mouth. He thinks his cars are the best in the world, which are not. Shaw's Ferrari Daytona, if I remember it right, was sent back 10 times to the Ferrari factory as there are lots of issues. Reliability is one thing Enzo Ferrari doesn't know, as he sells cars just to satisfy his need for speed. He doesn't care on after sales services. I can teach him a thing or two on how to run a business."

The two cars have lined up. I can hear the roars of the engines. Very loud roars... I have to put my faith on Tomoko's ability to control the Stratos.

Carmela: "There's no way that a Lancia can touch a Ferrari!"

And they're off! The Dino takes an early lead...

12920554703_81d7182b23_c.jpg

12920550953_aed4d60033_c.jpg

Michiharu: "I have a question, Tomoko mentioned that the Stratos and the Dino share the same engine. How's that possible?"

Gan: "Simple, Ferrari and Lancia are owned by FIAT. So FIAT can control on where the parts will go."

Michiharu: "I see."

Ben: "Tomoko is already at a disadvantage. The Stratos' short wheelbase could be her downfall. But it could also be the key to victory."

12920860474_0d07f10eec_c.jpg

Tomoko: "The Dino is surprisingly stable. I gotta give credit for that, as a longer wheelbase can actually prove to be useful."

Carmela: "The Stratos does not really belong on the circuit! Not even a Group 5 race car version of the Stratos lasted in a race! Go to the rally stage!"

12920857394_6dc0b00695_c.jpg

The Dino understeers thanks to its overconfident driver.

Tomoko: "All right!"

12920853434_405c242915_c.jpg

Carmela: "This is the beginning! Don't jump in just yet!"

12920440365_825e61c820_c.jpg

The two cars start the 2nd lap. Whoa... they're fast.

Ben: "Carmela... hmmmmm.... she does look promising, but her arrogance sometimes gets in her way. She does have a decent track record, but that's all I can say."

12920437445_37552004e4_c.jpg

Tomoko: "Slipstream!"

Carmela: "A simple slipstream is not enough!"

The two cars brake for the gentle first corner, however the Stratos finds itself going out.

12920844174_24e4b99cc7_c.jpg

Tomoko: "This is hard to keep it in check!"

However, instead of panicking, Tomoko actually puts up a smile.

12920529133_ff45ddef0f_c.jpg

Tomoko: "This is getting exciting... come on girl, is that all you've got!?"

AUTHOR'S NOTES:

- While I'm thankful that there are those who volunteer for duels, I'm still hoping that the next update will include car sharing, as it is too embarrassing to ask for the volunteer to buy the car just for one purpose.

- And here's a Group 5 Version of the Stratos, which PD should have included:

5393829540_fd78f8964f_o.jpg

And here's the car that takes the #3 spot of my favorite fanfic cars!

3. Dream Alliance Mazda 787B:

12920557063_b479f30389_c.jpg

The 787B is in the list, because I love Rotaries, especially that heavenly roar of the 4 rotor engine. Rotary engines make impressive power despite being small. And since they are small, they are light which makes them rev freely and accelerate as fast as the conventional piston engine. And also, the engine's lightness makes the magical 50:50 weight distribution possible (though not the 787B, of course) which contributes to great handling.

I prefer this out of all the Group C machines. This is easier to control, and I can compensate through the turns should this car lack the firepower on the straights. Only an oil change and increased body rigidity are the modifications. A 4 rotor unit is best being an NA unit, you know?

The Stealth Model is meaner, but I want to pilot the the winning car. Yes, this is the one that made the world realize that Japan can provide a proper Le Mans machine, as this particular car is the first and only Japanese car to win the 24 hours of Le Mans.

Tomoko: "I'm gaining... I'm gaining on her. Just stay this way, Tomoko. Believe in yourself... you'll win this!"

12969803005_2044d35e6d_c.jpg

Tomoko: "The Dino starts to oversteer at the corner exits. I guess the Stratos isn't the only one suffering from that. That's a mid-engined car too, after all. It's quite normal."

12970215264_5543735604_c.jpg

Carmela: "How could this be? She's keeping up!"

At the last corner, the Dino once again snap oversteers.

Carmela: "I was in a groove a while back. Now, that Stratos woman pressures me!"

As a result, it lost speed, allowing Tomoko to take the lead at the start of the final lap.

12970209504_3a38164647_c.jpg

The final lap starts. Tomoko, I believe in you and your determination. I want to be as determined as you are...

Ben: "The Stratos is in the lead? Good."

Gan: "But I'm sure that red Dino won't give up easily."

Ben: "Her arrogance will be her demise. I know her exploits too. She's that popular."

Michiharu: "Tomoko will win, and I can tell it. She is a very determined person."

Ben: "Determination, eh? So that thing has wonders after all. Technique won't just bring one to victory."

Carmela: "There's no way... that a car made by a company with numerous Formula 1 wins will lose against that cheap, unreliable trash!

Tomoko slows down approaching the first corner.

12970206644_67114a7086_c.jpg

However, Carmela decides to rear end the Stratos, as a last ditch effort.

Carmela: "No way my Ferrari will lose to a Stratos! Besides, the Stratos is at home on the dirt, right?"

Tomoko: "Hey! You just hit me!"

Tomoko plays with the accelerator to control the force the Stratos received upon impact.

12970202774_4e2c97025a_c.jpg

Carmela: "Hah! Lancia is too ambitious, if you ask me... Ferraris are at a higher class."

12969782305_871459bca4_c.jpg

12970190784_7935f2562b_c.jpg

Tomoko: "I'm not going to forgive you for this... I'll show no mercy this time! I'll let your pride turn against you!"

She steps harder on the accelerator, more determined than ever.

2. Takuma's RE Amemiya-tuned FD3S RX-7

12969777405_d769b59f89_c.jpg

What started just as Takuma's project car in a tuning festival in the U.S. turns out to be one of his weapons of choice in his battles. The RE Amemiya FD3S proves to be a reliable partner for him, and has gotten attached to it. He loves Rotaries as much as I do.

My love for the FD3S started in Gran Turismo 1. Back then, I was just playing in Arcade mode and the car's shape already got my attention. It's really beautiful, even today, and one can even tell that it's Mazda's latest product. I have gotten to know, at least, the FD3S' potential in NFS games, and I normally use it to end the UG and UG2 games. Then GT4 came along, and I have 10 of them, as far as I can remember. The FD3S' cornering abilities are just godly - very sharp turn-in but with controllable oversteer. The power delivery is decent, and the engine revs freely. The FD3S isn't really known for straight line speed, but rather when the road gets twisty, it can shame a supercar.

This specific model, is in fact the current Touge Monster (it currently sports a wider bodykit and a new color), proving that the most important aspect of a car's performance is balance. Utilizing it, it has managed to beat an S2000, Evo, Impreza, and even an R35 GT-R! RE Amemiya has always been the pioneer for tuning Mazda's rotary-engined cars. So much so that the world knows it, and RX-7 owners around the world seek tuning parts from that shop.

In GT5, this car was a force to be reckoned with, and one can say that it is a road-going version of the RX-7 racing cars. And it is true, as it has decent amount of downforce and impressive cornering ability that can even shame some racing cars. Today, in GT6, this Touge Monster could arguably be the monster in the tracks as well as it has stepped further up a notch. It can take on DTM and touring racing cars without breaking a sweat, and power can exceed 600 HP when fully-tuned. These factors make the RE Amemiya FD3S place no. 2 in the list of my favorite cars in my fanfics. It just lacks a little bit of outrageousness found in the Top 1 car.

My no. 1 favorite? You all have to wait at the end of the story! Make guesses as much as you can. :sly:

It's simple: seeing the many appearances it had, gotta be the Countach: Shadow Bull. (black bull is an F-Zero reference)

Warning... this post may take a while to load. Apologies to readers who experience lag.

Page 6 - Partner of Choice

Tomoko: "I'm not going to fall on a cheap trick like that! You give women a bad name!"

13058794503_843f49bdbc_c.jpg

However, Carmela's Dino is starting to lose control, as if Karma is striking at her.

Carmela: "Steady... Steady. We will win. We shall set another victory for Ferrari!"

As a result, the gap is significantly decreased. Tomoko steps on it further, in sync with the car.

Tomoko: "Just a little more! As long as the race lingers, there's still hope!"

13058665065_2fd18d75d3_c.jpg

Suddenly, the Dino snaps out of control, proving that a midship layout is for a dedicated and focused driver.

13058978024_d013cce415_c.jpg

Carmela: "Nooooooooooo!!!!"

Tomoko: "Karma has its way of hitting you hard. I'm sorry, but this match is mine."

And so, she lets the Stratos slide, to prove that she's still in control on the newly-tuned car.

13058975334_a606e9eef0_c.jpg

Tomoko: "This moment of victory... the moment you've worked hard for... Isn't it joyful?"

13058972854_3fc6d34250_c.jpg

Ben: "Tomoko wins. She's better than I expected after all. I think this team truly has a future."

I envy you, Tomoko... to think you are able to control the car all the way to your victory. This really shows how skilled she is.

But I cannot lag behind, either! I cannot let the team down! Starting from this point on, I'll try taming the Stratos as often as possible. I won't rest until I master controlling it!

She returns to the pit lane, and then shuts off the car. She steps out with a beautiful smile, something I've never seen before. A glowing smile... a smile of contentment, perhaps.

Gan: "Congratulations. As expected from you."

Tomoko: "Thank you, Gan-san. This race is truly a great experience. The outside world is tougher than I thought. I am anticipating more of these!"

Michiharu: "You really are a great driver. I'm actually jealous..."

Tomoko: "Huh? Why?"

Michiharu: "It's like I have accomplished nothing. I have yet to control the Stratos, and how am I supposed to represent the team if I'm like this?"

Tomoko: "There you go again with your humility."

Ben: "Seeing how worn out the Stratos is right now, I'll use this opportunity to borrow Michiharu and drive my Countach."

Michiharu: "W-What? Your Countach!?"

Ben: "That's right. We are going to race using my car from now on. I have to show my beloved father how great we truly are. Get your arse in."

Is he serious??? But... this is my chance to drive a faster car. I have to experience the thrill of a true supercar!

The Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ2, a lightweight car prepped for racing that once again made the Alfa Romeo name a forced to be reckoned with in the world of racing.

13058776863_acf734e29b_c.jpg

It turns out that Hiroyuki Hiramoto is driving it all along, practicing his one-hand steering technique.

Hiroyuki: "Even if I'm just starting to adapt this technique, the car handles very well. Sad to say, that this is better than my 2000GT back home."

13058773533_3455f922a2_c.jpg

He returns to the pit lane and Alessandro Rossi, the owner of the car, anticipates him.

Alessandro: "How is it, amico mio?"

Hiroyuki: "Very balanced car. Even when I was driving using only one hand to steer, the car is easily controllable. I think this is the perfect setting for the upcoming point-to-point race."

Alessandro: "But then, there is the matter of looking for your partner. I can't find anyone available."

Hiroyuki: "Don't worry about that. I have someone in my mind already. He and I met under a "special" circumstance. He could probably be here, but I'll do the asking. We could be buddies at the end of the competition."

Alessandro: "Who do you have in mind?"

Hiroyuki: "He has recently joined a racing team, and is said to be racing right now. He is none other than...

...Michiharu Kanonji."

Alessandro: "Who is he?"

Hiroyuki: "As far as I know, he is a very courageous man. He is not afraid to stand up for what he believes in."

Location: Monza Circuit, Italy

As I get in, I feel a bit twisted because of this peculiar driving position. The pedals are close to each other, and my legs are slightly tilted to the right.

Ben: "Put your left foot on the clutch while slowly turning the key to start."

Okay then, put my left foot on, and turn the key. THE CLUTCH IS HEAVY!!!

Tomoko: "That could take a while to start..."

Ben: "If you hear a clicking sound, then time to start it up."

So starting a Countach isn't as simple as the other cars after all. Oh, it's carbureted too, I can tell from the sound.

And then Ben sits on the passenger side.

Ben: "Move it."

I put the gear lever up. That thing is heavy too... and then as soon as I disengaged the clutch, the car reverses, and I have to stop it, of course. Why is that? Isn't that first gear?

Michiharu: "Huh?"

Ben: "I forgot to mention that this car has a dogleg gearbox. First gear is below reverse. Sorry about that."

I've learned something new again... so there are cars that have that type of gearbox. What for? So I moved down the gear lever. And then, there we go. We're moving forward.

13058959954_4ecc5e04a8_c.jpg

Ben: "Now, bury the throttle."

I accelerated. Whoa! Once again, the fear that was once associated with me during speed made its presence. It's really, really fast!

13058768983_943cbb5af2_c.jpg

I am always remembering what Uncle Koichi told me... stick to the red and white stripes called the Clipping Point. That's where the ideal line is. Oddly enough, the car points at them despite the heavy steering. Perhaps the heavy steering could have something to do with precision and feedback.

I braked a tad too early... That fear is sinking in once again, that's why. It's that fast...

13058638795_11f697398f_c.jpg

Ben: "Not bad for someone who is driving this for the first time. Even my protege has yet to drive this. This car deserves a driver like you. I don't usually allow others to drive it.

This car also reminds me of you. Dull-looking but very determined. This car really does look as sleepy as you are."

Sleepy!? Hey!

But the car somehow turns well... That's because I wasn't steering on it too much. Okay, bury the throttle!

13058763803_2795cdf71f_c.jpg

Ben: "Hmph..."

He's looking at my legs. What's wrong?

Then the car just blazes by at the straight. The level of speed makes me think I'm going to die. I just slammed the brakes out of...

...fear.

13058761263_4703fff4b2_c.jpg

Ben: "That was too early."

Michiharu: "This car is scary."

And I am right once again. The moment I turned the wheel, the car snaps its tail out of control! Shoot!

13058631465_24d731e2e1_c.jpg

13058628385_8a47890010_c.jpg

Whew... I thought we're going to die. Thankfully, the car came at a full stop immediately. I am breathing heavily, with my hands shaking on the steering wheel.

Ben: "Oh you've done it, you idiot. Do you have any idea how much these tires are? A car like this doesn't like leadfoots! This is the reason why you can't control the Stratos too! This car represents the bull in the badge, as it takes a dedicated spirit to tame it.

All right then, I shall teach you this simple but very effective technique of car control. Your right foot will play with the accelerator for most of the time. I shall teach you the basics. We'll do another lap...

I am seeing something within you. You have to tap it, and that's why you deserve to drive this car! Someday, you might be even owning one of these. You have a bright future ahead of you, don't waste it! You cannot move on if you keep on spinning out, chap!"

Special Page - The Glowing Eye

This is a special short page dedicated to the introduction of the Dream Alliance's opposing team in the FIA GT3 series. However, they're not going to play roles in just one story, as they span the bulk of the Takuma Gaiden series, I've decided that since the gap between new Vision GT models is uncertain.

For now, I shall take a break from The Boom once again, until the Course Creator is available in the game. The adventures of Michiharu and Hiroyuki in the point-to-point race across Europe shall use that feature, but I'll try using the existing tracks even though going against the point-to-point nature of the competition.

Thank you once again for reading, and I gotta admit the progress of this story is hampered due to the lack of the advertised features (that I sorely need) of the game. I am just among the few that still have positive vibes and think that GT6 will be a great game in the future.

Location: Circuit Spa De-Francorchamps, Belgium

A loud, high pitch engine note can be heard throughout the entire track, as if only one car is running in it.

Oversteering at the first hairpin is a silver Audi R8 LMS Ultra, an improved version of the GT3 racer which had further modifications based on the feedback from previous races.

At the pit garage, four men in race suits gather, and a mysterious cloaked figure.

Mysterious Cloaked Figure: "The press is here. The interview shall start as soon she arrives."

13080875333_577d57298f_c.jpg

The R8's driver has gotten an instruction that the press has arrived, and she has to resume the practice run later on.

13080754235_4507920e34_c.jpg

The driver complies, and meets up with the rest of the team. The cloaked man sees the press team, and he goes behind the team's trailer as he refuses to show himself up yet.

Getting out of the car is a female presumably in her early to mid 20s. She has a brown, shoulder-length hair and cyan eyes. She leads the team to the press as the interview shall start.

"Good afternoon. I am sorry for the little delay. We have invited you to introduce ourselves to the world as we have the intention to join the upcoming FIA GT3 series. My name is Nina Hanne from Norway, spokesperson and of course, racing driver for the Team Silverblade.

This team is composed of the hand-picked, best racing drivers from all corners of the globe. The selection process was very difficult, as the candidates are all promising, but in the end, only the four of us, as you see in front of you, have gotten the opportunity to race in the prestigious race because of their immense skill in the field."

Nina then introduces an Asian man, shorter than her, but with copper hair that makes him stand out.

Nina: "This is Nicholas Ho, one of Singapore's finest racing drivers. His popularity began in his victory of the D1 Grand Prix in Malaysia, and has won touring car races in Macau."

Nicholas:
"Good afternoon. Pleasure to meet you."

Then a tall French man with yellow hair and ruby eyes stands up, to introduce himself.

Nina:
"Next is Noel Honore, who has recently won the Tous France Championnat."

Noel:
"Bonjour!"

Then an American racer with black hair and a sharp nose makes his presence known as Noel sits down.

Nina: "Last, but definitely not the least, is Nash Hall. Nash specializes in American Le Mans Series, but decides to gauge himself against the world's fastest drivers."

Nash: "Howdy! Just watch, as Silverblade shall cut through the competition!"

Nina then thanks the press team after the short talk. As they leave, the team meets up with their leader...

Mysterious Cloaked Figure: "Impressive job representing us. You excellent charisma there."

Nash: "She's quite the talker! I couldn't have done it myself!"

Nina: "What's your proposed course of action?"

Mysterious Cloaked Figure: "Resume the practice session. Then you take turns running the car. We all have to come up our ideal setting for the car."

Nicholas: "I have yet to finish the suspension parameters and figures. Let me drive the car now so that I can come up with the best possible setting."

Noel: "When I drove it a while back, it was quite unstable at braking. But the rest of the car is spot on."

Mysterious Cloaked Figure: "Okay then, commence with the testing."

The four move on to resume the practice run. The cloaked man's face is concealed a lot, however, his left eye glows red...

Mysterious Cloaked Figure: "Analyzing status of four drivers. Analysis complete. All drivers in Race Mode.

Just like the car, we shall lead through technology. I shall not fail those four clients who bought those four units... I will make sure their purchase is worth it.

And once we prevail, we shall unleash this technology for the benefit of the racing world! The program is now in fruition, and is close to completion!"

DUEL HELP:

Next duel for The Boom is Ben vs. Sir Shaw.

I need a volunteer for this:

529 PP, 371 HP, 1070 kg, suspension and transmission settings are up to the volunteer.

Custom Parts

Other - Part B

Rims - American Racing Vintage Torque Thrust - painted in orange.

Color... just as long as it's close to the Gulf color.

Track: Apricot Hill Raceway.

Tires: SH tires

I love the R8 more having seen an original LMS in action. That NH 2 robot guy leading Silverblade is going to cause a lot of trouble for Hiroyuki.

I'm starting to get the hang of driving the LMS ultra. But as the road cars are concerned, I prefer the V8 R8 over the V10, as it is more balanced, and Audi could have just let the Gallardo be the "V10 sibling" since they share the same chassis anyway.

An honest to earth racing team with a not honest to earth robot dude! Hehehe..

Comments!

- Still on to the Juri Han glowing eye thing, huh? Nigel will need an upgrade to compete, let me suggest.

- You've beaten me to get a pure Singapura person in a fiction. I'm not mad, since I've no plans to get a pure Singaporean in my stories.

- Another Nash? Oh dear! And a cowboy? Hmm... It's a Jake-Nash Hybrid!

The duel, unfortunately, is too steep for me; don't think I'll be spending 3+ million credits on another Ford GT40 and a Stratos for the color (not hating Lancia's awesome colors, just maybe find any better color for the job).

And I'm a little bummed with what happened to the Torq Thrusts. I really connected with the ones in GT5. For those rims to be 'replaced' by Enkei.. while it fits, kind of.. (look at Trans Cammer rims)

13078994995_0c5e14007b_o.jpg

It just doesn't feel the same.. :guilty:

Also, on the Audi R8: the only one i ever enjoy driving is a stock 4.2, and it's staying that way after what happened between me and the suggested tuned forms of the 5.2 and the LMS Phoenix. Before i tune a car, I'd get a feel on what it wants from me to be respected.

The entire Silverblade... I'm sure you've noticed something with the members' names.

And Nigel did say something before....

I figured out they were the 5 clones from the NH 2 project when I first saw they all had NH in their names.

^

That's why his name is Nash? I'm glad i didn't copyright that name. It's just odd why little Nobu had that abbreviation as well..

And.. it looks like some of us are spoiling it for the newer readers, eh?

The rest will be revealed once Takuma Gaiden has started.

I know what you're feeling about your backing out of the duel. This is why CAR SHARING or GIFTING has to return in GT6...
