I was blessed with one mate. She used to carry my toolbox. Now it has been going on 39 years together. You found a good one, don't let her get way.

As Maria was at the sea ...... grab the chance to go a bit deeper in battle races.
I using a praiano tune more or less in SLS ( fantastic gearing) and i try a flat floor !!!! with way less power and yes comes quicker .
On the other hand the " beast " give me very hard time but if you brake early and trust the power of the animal its a bullet.
Vids will follow as i said cause of Noel i use full wash machine drive.
Battle update and up side down .

Another go at the Battle with the SLS. Couldn't let the Series One our run the SLS. Tune by @skeagracing with transmission by me. . The Series One tune by @shaunm80 is just too good. Noels tune of the SLS is great and will run again. Need to shave some 10ths. Video of Shelby run too.

EDIT:Shaved a few 10ths with the Benz and bested the Shelby so I'm done.

The flat floor doesn't really do much besides bump up the PP a fair bit. I know there's a slight handling gain, but considering you could get like 50bhp for the same PP gain...

The added ‘downforce’ sucking you to the track with a flat floor also zaps your straightline speed the faster you go.
I remember seeing 25-30km/h difference at Le Mans so, I guess it depends on which track you’re racing at whether it’s a + or -.

Well I only managed to get the 50k challenge and Roadster challenge done tonight. Ah well.

I really hate dirt racing in GT6, for some reason I'm much better on snow... it's been proven in GT4, and GT5, havent done as much in GT6, but still... regardless I think I did alright.

Pretty happy with the Roadster challenge though! 1:07 to start, then consistent 1:05s with a 1:04 to wrap up! Love that car!
Also, proof that I'm in the no nos category:

Understandable... well I'm busy tomorrow, got a new project car to pick up (an old Datsun @Racin510s) and a 21st to get to... so I might try get all my vids smashed out after then, depending on how long the 21st goes. I know Fijians love to party.

I was actually pretty disappointed with the Evo, I mean I'm not the best at dirt, granted, but even still it refused to turn, felt very understeer and I lost way too much speed having to get it round corners in baby steps that pre-tuned rally suspension is 🤬 but I just couldn't be arsed giving dirt tuning a go, it's a totally different animal to sealed circuits, of course.

Too much hp for that race ....... bring it down ,way down and try to use MT gears .
From what i read here and there need about the maximum ride height and for sure dirt set up is better than everything else.
Too much spin ...... too much , if i can manage the MT gears i can win it and since you are closer than i am .....please give a smaaalllll punch to Handsome who dares to complain about his EVO in that race.

One word for those playing in the dirt

Handbrake/ E brake

Also, turn off any driver aids that will keep the car straight.
You need to be able to swing the car around on its front axle to be quick.
ABS, in the real world, is the worst invention ever for the dirt as it stops your wheels from ‘digging’ into the surface when you brake & just allows your wheels to roll across the loose gravel.
