The secret to the EVO (with showroom spec diffs anyway), is the right combination of AYC (Active Yaw Control) and Torque Split on the centre diff

I didn't use the AYC at all in the EVO , so i don' t know if is more handful to drive , just put weight in the rear to fix the balance a bit and i think both cars race at the same hp.
What bothers me from going faster was , not quick response on frond end to give more speed at the high speed S and the understeer after the braking that drag the car totaly out of line .
Ok braking earlier was better but the times are always in 55 -56 .
On the other hand the GTR give me the slide that i want and was way to easy to control it without open the line , it was loose but manageable .
It wasn' t the proper set up for a tyre wear race but for a quick go was ok for me.

I knew you were headed for the snow somewhere & that's not something Mother Nature does your side of the border

If you arrived today, you missed the slightly chilly -9.8 Celsius they had overnight. Hell I'm nowhere near a ski resort & it was -1.8 when I got up at 03:15 . The coldest it's been in Melbourne in late August for 60+ years!

Anyway, you were off to the Bar for another pint weren't you?

Almost missed Battle #6. So here you go. Both cars tuned by me. 4WD cars in GT6 have always pushed like bulldozers. I couldn't get the Skyline to turn after several attempts plus it is way heavier after stage 3 weight reduction. The Evo was a fun drive. I think I saw a :57 but doubt that is the lowest. Oh well fun was had by all.

Edit: Chassis and final gear change on th GTR. Almost got the rear to step out. Another :57 si I'm satisfied. I believe I got all I can out of the EVO with the tune I have.

for the links to @praiano63 tunes.👍👍 Both worked very well as they have always done. I learned to tune my own cars thanks to @praiano63, though his tunes are always better than mine, I am close though.
I did try @Pete05 suggestion of the AYC on the EVO and was about 4 tenths slower than the @praiano63 tune. I'm happy and done.

Thanks mate. As usual a bit confused as to when Battle 6 ends. I may be able to get another second or so if I run some more. My last 2 runs were close to my limit. If we have more days than Sept. 2nd, may have more goes at this. If not I am happy with a pair of 1:56's. I have fun no matter what my time. I have learned what my limit is to keep my heart happy.

@Racin510s aka Marshmallow man you did quite well with you time in battles( especialy with the evo ) ,when i started iwas in 58-59s and my best times with GTR was due to the sliding and the fact that when i hit back the throtle was on the line and didn' t open it as the evo did.
As for Praiano he did very stable tunes in general and his cars is easier to drive most of the times.
Anyway you did remarkably well with that evo considering the time you spend for this one,
I play it 3 differend days to see times below 55- 54 and with many restarts after destroying the car on that walls .
During testing with walls around, my nick name should be ......Doom .
Instead of a car , most of the times i bring back a piece of junk ,London track have my name in the first turn with the FT 1 ...... smoothbore's junk yard

Since i had the time i put my b spec bob to collect some of my many missing stars in the game and i try to gold the missions .
Trying to give a go in no tune , i find my self nail in 12s and when i am in good position to make a low time ....there is a bbbiiiiiigggggggg skrew up.

BATTLE #6 (1st go)

SKYLINE tuning is based on a competitive @ERAZER setup shared sometime ago for Autumn Ring / Skyline / 530pp TT.
LANCER tuning is a de-powered version of the maxed setup available at Arrakis Speed Shop / @feydrautha.

Potentially there is something to be grabbed as records here and there but for sure SKYLINE is slightly superior, maybe just due to its top level TT setup.
