Not sure if I'm going to get another go at it as we are going on holidays in a couple of days.

There is no way to find traction with that car , i took Handsome's car for a spin and won full stock first time.
With mine just win once and only with the heartbeat up to 180 in last lap not to skrew up .
After 50 attempts

Hopefully it’s the 710 series.

Unless they called the 510 the Bluebird instead of 1600 over the ditch. That would be too cool.

From the first day i try it since yesterday ,plus the many restarts when things went wrong or when i change the tune and try it again........ am afraid that is about 40 - 50 times.
Usualy i run 3-4 times if i know the track and the car and am good at the begining .
In no tune for example i run 2 times , see what my fastest lap is and then try to be as close to that.
The same happens with the mazda roadster .
Only the battles i try 2 different days but had more restarts since i wanted to be " clean " without hiting other cars .
When i said i " hate " @bjl23........ i have my reasons
After all am not a good driver , just persistent plus i had to take the pants off from Bruce Lee in that round.

Firstly at 550PP - No NOS

Then at 580PP - No NOS

Shelby is so much more of a handful but a lot quicker when you get it right.

It's a 910. Plan is to just do a bloody good restoration job on it, no racing. At least not in this one..

Bit late, but here's my updated high speed ringkhana clip! Absolutely nailed the bridge spins, AND the cleanest reverse entry through the bridge and consequent J-turn at the other end I ever did! Don't think I could pull those off any better!

@RMan72 I always love the variety you do with the BATTLES.

Thank you @bjl23, just try to level the playing field between some of the choices. Think the Merc would edge it around 600-610PP but the Shelby would be a beast at that level.

I should have NOS'd the Merc to see if it could catch the Shelby but my playing time is over until next Saturday

@RMan72, I finally got the Merc to beat the Shelby. I was 5 seconds slower with both but could not let the Shelby beat the Benz. My first tune had tremendous oversteer that last one have very manageable understeer.

I give up looking for best laps since I'm quite used for a just closed GTS TT.

This time the Evo was the one that give me a hard time .
First impression was that the EVO was fast and the GTR easier ,very soon the GTR was faster and easier .
For the tunes i trust @praiano63 for the GTR base on his https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/thre...ll-x2014-junior.291084/page-142#post-10353194 , with few changes but i keep the 50-50 torque split.
For the Evo i try almost every tune but none make the big difference.
This " shot" again based on the same tuner in his 98 model ,https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/thre...0pp-sport-tires.291084/page-129#post-10212257

The secret to the EVO (with showroom spec diffs anyway), is the right combination of AYC (Active Yaw Control) and Torque Split on the centre diff
