The Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge, Season 2 Discussion!

My Internet kept messing up. I never got in a room if there was one.

It sounds like your night was about as bad as mine was, except for the funnel cake I had at the football game.

My football team was out of town this week, so I played F1 2012 because my Internet was cutting in and out. :grumpy:

My internet was out completely on Wednesday, I ended up playing F1 2011.

Seth was the only one that showed up while I had the room open. we did one race between the Focus and Civic and was super close. but that was it.

That's cool. My Internet is all better now. I should be good to go now.

Cool. F1 2012 looks like a completely different game than F1 2011. It's worth getting.

I was wondering about F1 2012, how is the online community and racing in general in that game?

EDIT: Also depending on the time, I would be interested in joining the ST class for this league, as long as the time is suitable. 👍

The career mode is awesome. There is an online co-op championship you can play with a friend. Polar and I are doing that right now.

I would think that there might be another one this Friday.

This is the plan, for now. I've noticed people having online issues again.... So if everything goes well, this Friday will be another casual test.

Team Extreme News:

It was said in a interview with Team Extreme driver James that there maybe be a move to GS in the future for this team. Here is what he had to say." The team had a sit down with its drivers and we all decided to head to Daytona with the USCC and test the Aston Martin V12. While we were there we decided we would go back to the shop the next day and talk about how the team liked it and what we thought. All of really liked how it drove. So the team owner asked if we wanted to make the move to GS. It was unanimous decision to move to GS and race the Aston Martin V12 Vantage. The second question he asked us was if we wanted a second car and we all again decided it sounded good." Well you heard it hear first folks Team Extreme is making the move to GS in the Aston Martin V12 Vantage with possibly a second car.

You couldn't even drive a civic around people without taking them out....

Hey polar, Think we could throw in another street course on top of Tokyo? Like maybe Circuito de Madrid. You get the tight turns of a city for good close racing but there are several open straight-aways to pass.

Well then i'll throw some suggestions out there for street courses.

Tokyo R246
Special Stage Route 5
Circuito de Madrid
Cote d'Azur

Last 2 are a disaster for multi-class racing... Tokyo is already in, SSR5 is a boring track :P.

Madrid has several passing points because it does open up. Cote de azur would be a super tight course. No one would come out without damage

Team Extreme News:
This just in Team Extreme has signed a second driver and picked up a sponsor for the CTSCC S2. We have a quote from the team owner. James was quoted as saying "We have offically signed a one season contract with SolidSnake7735. We are very happy to have him for the second season of the CTSCC. As for the sponsor we have picked of McDonald's, Coca-Cola, & TheCardBoardBox Tuning. We are happy to have signed them as sponsors. We hope to have more very soon." Well there you have it folks Team Extreme picks up a driver & 3 sponsors. Pictures below:

SSR5 is a particular favorite of mine. Passing opportunities are few and far between in the technical part of the track. The car with the better line will be the one to succeed in the trenches.

SSR5 would also be unique cause it would be a night race. I'm in on this one too
