The Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge, Season 2! Thanks everyone!

Did some laps earlier, consistent low 1:05s for me, for a good 15+ laps. I left the engine stages off for now, but I'll install them to see if I get faster. Probably a good bet in acceleration.

Looks like I picked the perfect day to not show up. Didn't miss anything. Sorry about your friend Polar, glad everything is okay. I had a bit of bad luck hit when helping my friend on his car. Get the valves lashed, start up, cracked radiator. The car gods say no.

Lol so you needed to replace all the valves and the radiator? :scared:

What car it out of curiosity.

We were just relashing the rockers because we tend to rev the crap out of the motor. H22A in a 95 Prelude. Radiator is the original one so no surprise it cracked.

And that's my luck. DC'd again. I just simply don't know what's happening..

If you can, switching to wired connection is a huge help.

Then, on your PSN XMB, you can find the uPnP setting; set it to open, you'll normally have an easier time connecting, because your ports will be open.

Then, if you can't go wired, and your ports already are open, check that the PS3 is still online after the disconnect; it could be a server crash or something more severe.

I can't because the router is in the other room, and my mother offered me some time ago the move of it to my room, but I said no because I had fixed the problems by the DMZ.. I don't want to ask her to do it just because of me..

But I still keep getting random DC's in GT5. Only in GT5.. In BO2 I NEVER got DC'd..

But, Black Ops 2's server is basically the same CoD server that never really experiences an issue until the host quits or the host's internet crashes; it requires nowhere near as much information, in the same time frame.

Whereas GT5 is full of different player inputs that will naturally be run through a complex physics system, and sent to various other players, CoD's system is essentially "so-and-so is standing there. Draw player there."

The fact is, CoD doesn't even have bullet drop, or any other physics-related gameplay. It's literally point-and-shoot with slow-moving lasers, rather than any sort of weight transfer, grip calculations, aerodynamic shifts (drafting, etc.) and is much less complex that GT5.

Then, take into account GT5's poor servers, and CoD's (honestly) quite good servers (though, not the maturity (lack thereof) that takes place on CoD servers,) and you've got a huge difference.

However, whereas I've never seen anyone be able to "hack" or "cheat" GT5's online system with FIAT 500s that are faster than the Red Bull X2011, as I've seen aimbots on CoD, I'd still say that GT5's system is more fair.
