Well went for a no.2 after I joined, sat down to see the race was starting, oh dear. Anyway started the race badly my sideways Mini and getting chalked up in slow traffic made it snap back and crash. I thought no worries give it a bit and I'll catch up .

From there slowly but surely passed everyone by about lap 11-12, where I got a huge run on QC onto the straight, passed, got a bit of a bump in T1 but held on. From there I just drove Q laps to see if I could match my pace from last weeks "test". (10.4) Aired on the side of caution in areas where I went 110% in testing so only did a 10.7.

Was a fun race, for anyone who wants to see what a FF should do on cold tyres watch my out lap on lap 16, the laps after have some sweet FF oversteer too .

Toyko and Laguna left, not my favorite tracks but Laguna in this Mini makes me .

Edit: Polar if you want rid of me stop allowing FFs to race . This being the only series I can run consistantly where I can race FFs means I'll be grabbing it with both hands .

More like get some sleep for tomorrow! I almost fell asleep during the race and i had a pretty early night last night :S Might have to stock up on energy drinks for tomorrow haha

Lightweight.. Try getting up at 10am to work from 11am-10pm delivering pizzas (Did 24 deliveries), preping food, cleaning etc in the morning... Oh yeah and since my car is broken I'm using a Ford Ka sport. (Step dads) Which rides like a brick, compared to my Fiesta, has a synco problem where it won't go into gear, changing 2nd to 3rd etc and worst of all has a failed power steering pump... Meaning the steering is really heavy.. Forgot to mention it's rather cramped inside, my Fiesta now looks like a huge car .

So yeah .

And you're how old, Paul? You don't look much older than 20... You're either a small Scot (I work with a man about 5'4", with the most awesome Scottish accent... so I guess it's not uncommon) or just young-looking in photos that make you seem short...

Young looking, people allways guess my age when they meet me and are around the 14-16 bracket, sometimes lower . I'm 5ft 9 or 10 iirc so not that small, taller than all my family. I'm very skinny though due to having a high metabolism, weigh 45-50kgs and have done for some years now..

People try calling me anorexic, that is until they see my "snack drawer" .

Also my birth certificate says I'm 20, 21 in June... So I must be, right?

I tend to get a bit nervous, and by getting nervous, a bit agressive.. I literally bumpdrafted Chloe after the tunnel until the last two turns.

That's normal in ITCC, I've noticed.

I don't think QC minds, it probably gave him a few tenths of a second extra, too, to use to try to catch Paul.

The battles were freakin GREAT! I was having fun battling it with Nascar. I was just trying not to hit you(too hard). And paul, holy crap man! I need to talk suspension tuning with you on FF's cause 17 seconds is enormous. Sorry Jethro for getting in your way in the beginning, but do remember that you will take me on straights all day. We need to not be battling through turns cause both classes are equal in the curves.

I know of iRacings multi car Daytona race. MX5, Jetta TDI and Solstice. (Mustang in the fun race)

I put the pizzas in a freezer fyi to make sure they were cold, just to annoy them .

Good for you, mate. Sometimes I think people wish they could just put furi's pizzas in the freezer more often; always making sure it's plugged in.


As for the Jetta... It's a Jetta. Polarbear and cnd01 will get the joke more than anyone else.

I did make a joke to a friend who has iRacing but no Jetta etc, used the MX5 for this race. When he told me about the other class cars I said this.

"I don't allways race Daytona but when I do I use a Jetta TDI"
