Universal key kgmd-9k7t-htxl-9hgv, code for Xbox was sent in 10min. Ubisoft redeem page don't like ru ips, but totally ok if i use ru account with eu ip.

Just played a little bit and I'm liking it a lot. The handling is better, but it still feels like a Crew game. And it's totally fine. The new Playlists are a nice progression and story combo. But the main thing is the map. Gorgeous. It's almost perfect. Not massive but still big enough. At least one should try this game once imo.

Driving feels strange. Its ok to some point and then dramatic drift kicking you at near obstacle. With "wild" preset it feels better, but problem still here. Similar problem with latest NFSs, but its more manageable in MF. Need more research in settings and tuning.

72k B for hidden legendary lootbox. Money rewards aren't through the roof, but ok. Not sure how xp works. Progression system still isnt all that clear to me.

Map feels more like mix of Crew 2, Horizon 3 and 4. Roads are waaaay better than in Horizon 5, yet visuals looks pastgenish even at resolution mode. Island is decent in size, great balance of size and quality.

Ai isn't as good as in Unbound, but better than in Horizon 5. 5 difficulty tiers, currently playing on 4 and it could kick ass.

Story doesn't feel as cringe as in Horizon 5, more like H3/4.

Must have for PS5, choice between this and Horizon could be tough. Anyone should try this.

RWD cars do like to drift kick a lot, true. I'm using TC on sport for them. It's kind of strange but traction control helps with drifting too.

The game has a few points where its a little choppy in the cutscenes, the cars idk how to describe it but they feel heavier to control, drifting and turning can cause some pretty big lag spikes but nothing that’ll mess you up but it is kinda annoying. The second game feels so much smoother as of right now. The graphics and texture of the cars is phenomenal I’m actually really impressed by that however overworld’s (world outside of garage) textures seem a little bland. That’s what I have to say so far based off how much I’ve played.

I’m enjoying it
At the moment my only complaint is there is literally zero purpose to your starter car, as none of the five playlists you’re allowed to play in the Closed Beta (I presume more will be available in the Open Beta) require it
The first two have you using exclusively loaner cars, and then the rest are all cars you have to own yourself

After picking it for about an hour and a half, this are my first impressions:
-You can import your TC2 collection right from the start and the process is completely streamlined. It was impressive to see my current collection, and now in higher detail.
-The intro is very Horizon like, including a choice of 3 free starter cars.
-Handling on the pad feels more weighted and less twitchy than TC2. I went for the mid-settings (sport) and took me about 10 minutes to get used to it. In a way it reminds me of NFS Heat but with enough TC2 identity. It will fit any FH players that try it.
-I started with the Japanese showcase, which I think is a cheeky way to tease a Japan-like location to FH players (well played Ubisoft).
-Graphics are excellent and current gen, at a smooth 60 fps in performance mode (with some very minor dips here and there), and there is finally proper HDR settings. I played on the Series X, but I will also test it on the S.
-Voice acting is much improved, and it will even comment on things you do in the race, and sound is excellent.

I'm rarely an early adopter of games, but I'm feeling positive that I will preorder, and it's because the commitment they have shown to the TC2 and to this title, so far.

The game is completely unplayable for me, it feels like it's running at about 10fps no matter what the settings. I have a 5800X3D CPU and 4080 GPU, so it's not like my PC shouldn't be able to run it well, but even trying to run at low quality 1080p it's still at a super low framerate. Back to FH4/5 where I can run at 4k 60fps with about 50% GPU utilisation.

Does anyone have a code for PS4 or XBOX Series? Thanks.

Also I like what I see of the gameplay but unless I like driving the vehicles (mainly land) better I might not get the game until a price cut. As competitive and grindy TC2 was online I got burnt out quickly trying to get Platinum in Summits and barely bothered racing in pvp despite doing so for probably over 100 hours in TC1.

Got to the F1 race in the intro and FPS has droped down to maybe 1 fps. its literally unplayable
ive switched to minimum gfx, re-started game, its just stop go to the point where i cannot even get around corners

i went across the 'finish' checkpoint, and nothing happens.. just keeps saying wrong direction

So there is now way to disable the onscreen gps line without completely shutting off the gps/clara?
In TC2 we were able to disable just the onscreen line, but keep the gps in the minimap.

Small report on the Series S: There is no resolution graphics mode. Dips and stutters are more noticeable here, especially in the open world portion, so the game stands for further optimization, and resolution is not quite 1080p. Otherwise, completely playable.

Some people are reporting stable performance after disabling discord overlay. You might want to try that.

Six hours clocked in, and I've already completed the Made in Japan playlist. Here are my impressions so far:
  • The game itself is relatively stable; I played on a laptop running an i7-10750h and RTX 2070 meaning it can handle mid-range (by today's standards) hardware specs relatively well.
  • Not that this is a bad thing at all OR that I'm complaining, but the Festival theme for an open-world racing game is starting to become commonplace.
  • I like that the story (so far) lacks an antagonist that's written to be intentionally unlikable, like most racing games just feel like they're obligated to include - and often as the main antagonist. Hayato and his gang seem to be rather welcoming to your presence, Kai seems interested in getting you into as many old-school road cars as she can find, and I haven't seen the others, but I think they're en route to being very similar to those two. For me, there's a time and a place for such an antagonist in a racing game, and IT seem to have made the right move by not putting that kind of character here.
  • If you're importing your collection from TC2, what purpose does picking out a starter car serve other than to waste your time? To me, being given a choice of three starter cars just seems like a formality Motorfest puts every new member through once they arrive on O'ahu.
  • I've especially noted during the drift event in the Made in Japan playlist, that the voice actress for Hinata sounds a lot like Tails (may need more info to clarify if the actress has ever voiced Tails in any media).
  • Unless there are some vehicle-to-vehicle balancing issues that will be addressed either before release or in pose-release patches, the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ still looks to be the king of the Hypercars.

The difference in quality between this (admittedly still in beta phase) and any Forza Horizon game from the past 3 iterations is laughable (and not in a good way)

I am not able to find the game on the Xbox store to install it. Can you help me?

If you got a code for the beta, you have to redeem the code in the "redeem" section of the Xbox store. It'll be within the UI element that pops up on the left side of the front page.

Once you've redeemed the code, it should bring a prompt saying that it's owned and It'll start downloading automatically.

I don't have Discord or anything else running. Just tried the benchmark, it's doing 17fps with all settings as low as they can be set, on a 4080 that can run FH4 at over 120fps 4k max quality.

I redeem the code using chrome yesterday. I tried to redeem again the code using the Xbox but it says that the code is already used. I can't find the game while searching in the store.

Some one else suggested deleting the Thecrewmotorfest folder in documents. Seems like it works for some people.

you'll find some xbox codes here:

On PC, check your Microsoft account to see if indeed the code is redeemed. It should appear in your purchase history, so you can click on it and it will take you to the store and prompt you where to install.
