Even with right car, tune and maxed nitro chemist Akor 30s faster on braindead follow the trajectory line track. How da heck its possible?
Which event? If you mean the top middle one, Custom Nation, I managed to go 3 seconds slower than Akor using automatic gears and a set that is one part short of a full nitro chemist set, but with the affixes close to max, and legend points on most of the relevant things. If that's the right one, let me know, and I'll give my thoughts on how time can be lost on it.

Done them all now, 1183k total, but will probably grind out that last part and have another go at the street tier 2 events before the end of this summit.

Wide 918 and Porsche ST2.
I don't know which event you mean - is it a current summit event, or a playlist event? If you haven't seen a video of him setting the time I'd assume he did it in a convoy with slipstream.

Here's some more gameplay of The Crew Motorfest that I recorded in the last few weeks:

Unfortunately, my channel was mistakenly terminated from YouTube yesterday. I was lucky to get it back again.

This is the Toyota 2000GT. I hope you all enjoy this short!

I did some grinding for drag racing parts, using the Vegas Strip event in the American Muscle playlist, which the Discord recommends as meta for grinding drag racing. I recalibrated the highest level parts I got to lucky and goldfinger as I went along, and it wasn't THAT bad to get a few gold parts. I've kept those on lucky and goldfinger, but had enough extra gold parts to make another set for the summit speed trap, and 4 golds, 2 pinks and one blue have got me 28.8% pure and 14.2% frenetic. Managed 555kph with the Corvette, which increased my summit score by maybe 18k, taking me well inside the top 2000.

In contrast, it took me hours to get the last nitro chemist part for street 2, and having a nitro chemist set only improved my time for Custom Nation by 1.5 seconds, getting me maybe 2k more summit points. I'd say the better drag racing parts gained me massively more summit points per minute spent grinding.

The Proto Hup One Burning Wheels Edition is stated as meta for drag racing in the Discord, and it was a bit of a gamble, but I got it via TC2 by buying the car that is called the Inferno Edition in TC2. While the car looked similar, I wasn't completely sure buying it would get me the Burning Wheels Edition in TCM, but it did. However, while it might be possible to make it better than the Corvette by adjusting pro settings, I got a higher speed for the Summit speed trap with the Corvette than the Hup One Burning Wheels Edition.

Steam says I've had the game running for 92 hours now, and I have nitro chemist sets for Street 2, Hypercar, and Alpha GP, and a points set for Hypercar, so the grind hasn't been TOO bad, as a lot of that time was spent doing playlists to unlock fast travel, and doing summit events that don't give good parts.

I uploaded a video showcasing the recently added Porsche 919 Street:

What do you guys think how I handled this car? I hope you all enjoy this short!

Does anyone know where that window tint comes from?
Is it from TC2? I have searched the playlists, but it looks like it's not in any playlist.

I'm really, really looking forward to seeing what is going to be in the Prestige Pass Shop with Season 5.

All I can say is, I hope there'll be some CC obtainable with that shop even if it'd be slow.

Damn! Probably one of the very few custom shows I didn't make it into platinum. And it's the only windows tint I would have actually cared to have.
I forgot it's a part of the Audi bundle. Still available. Buy the car from autoshow first with bucks than go for the bundle.
I usually don't buy vanity items. Totally forgot I actually bought it for the window tint. And the tires are nice too.

Actually, I didn't know this until just yesterday, but the preset livery for the Vector V40R at Motorfest is slightly different from the one in TC2.
I guess there must have been some licensing issues between Jaguar and Vector, but I liked the fact that it's a Jaguar boat, so this change is a bit disappointing.

Well, I could just make Jaguar logo and stick it on...😏

I came across this video where someone shows that it's possible to get platinum with only green parts, and without even using any legend points. This was interesting to me as I'd considered getting a 2nd copy of the game next time it's on sale, to be able to try this on an alt account (the game doesn't support Steam family sharing, so you can't do this without getting another copy).

I think one reason why it's possible to do this well with green parts is the nerfing of nitro chemist sets vs TC2 in 4 ways:
1. Nitro chemist sets give 2x nitro in TC2 vs 1.5x in TCM.
2. You start with a full tank in TC2 vs empty in TCM. The full tank with a nitro chemist set gives you a massive boost at the start of events in TC2.
3. The max affix percentages for pure and extra pump have been nerfed from 8/10 to 5/5.
4. There are no boosted sets in TCM.

I've been grinding parts for planes, and now have every type of plane set, but I only have one nitro chemist set, so have a pure+gateway set but not a pure+extra pump set. The pure+gateway set got me 43rd on this leaderboard:

I've no idea how it's possible to go 11 seconds quicker. Akor and ozfh are on 3:28/9, so maybe the 3:21 isn't legit.

Looks like there's a Street Tier 1 event in the next summit, so I might grind that next, and also I need better dragster parts as there always seems to be a speed trap. Most events in the next summit are with loaned vehicles. The one that isn't needs a 300ZX Malu edition which can be obtained via TC2, but I started the story you have to do to get it, and good grief it's so tedious, I'll just buy it in TCM instead.

After checking the parts, you are right. It is indeed active now. Changed one part to Epic and it went inactive.

Noob me.
No problem, the effect of the set bonus is pretty underwhelming, so it's not surprising you might question if it's active. It was a lot more noticeable in TC2.

I'm back with another short, this time it's of the BMW M3 Sport Evolution.

I highly recommend all of you to give this short a watch on YouTube.

Is there a specific way of obtaining the ''Iron Grip'' affix or is it random? Sometimes I re-roll the affix and it never appears, sometime it does. I know I had a 60%'ish Iron Grip rating at some point.

It's random m8 keep scraping them green and blue upgrades then the pinks once a few cars are maxed with them

I just uploaded more Car Showcase YouTube shorts.

Honda Integra Type R (DC2):

I hope you all enjoy these YouTube Shorts and leave my feedback about my driving in the comments!

There's an event in this week's summit called Cliffhanger, where you have to use the Creators 51 rally raid vehicle. I watched Militia/TriggerMGC's guide here, where he advocates using resets everywhere:

He doesn't show the end of his run, but at the end of the video you can see his time is 2:53.

I didn't have any good parts for rally raid, and the reset method just wasn't giving me a good time. I think it maybe works best if you have a nitro chemist set so you can use lots of nitro after each reset.

I got 2:56 (world top 100) with just a couple of gold parts, some pinks, some blues, as follows:

- I didn't use any resets at all, basically just drove the track normally, aiming to shorten each corner as much as possible by aiming for the inside checkpoint.

- I used his pro settings, but set the brake balance all the way to the rear, as I need to rotate the car as much as possible under braking.

- I also set the final drive ratio to the shortest possible.

- I set shifting to sequential in controls.

- I recalibrated my affixes to pure and resourceful. I also put my legend points on pure and resourceful. This means that because you're having to brake so much into every tight corner, you exit with full nitro every time.

- I set off and manually shifted to 4th gear by the first checkpoint. I then left it in 4th gear for the entire run. It accelerates well in 4th gear with nitro out of every corner. You hit the rev limiter on the very last bit, but it's such a small loss of time that it seems to be faster to lose the time there and gain the time everywhere else from the shorter 4th gear.

It's one of the things I basically do on every car, setting the brake balance more to the rear.
Not only does it make the car turn in better, it also decreases the braking distance.

pfff resetting the car is the lamest thing people do in this what is just a game after all. What you need to do with the brakes is watch the distance change as you adjust it and settle on the lowest number's

I rarely do the resetting trick, I do the Summits legit. And with the Prestige Tickets coming next month, I'm not worried about missing anything. Yes, this latest set of rewards won't show up in the shop for another 2 months, but I got time to muck about.
