Good news about the next update, I'm loving this game more and more.

Would like to see some more cars soon, although I've touched only a handfull of those available. I think there are some "important" cars missing, like Supras, earlier Skylines and of course more from Europe. Some hot hatches and legendary rally cars would be awesome aswell.

What kind of cars would you guys like?

I would like to see the Supra, in fact Toyota is not represented in this game at all. The Tundra and FJ Cruiser would make great raid vehicles too. More TVR's would also be nice but I would rather have an older one like the Griffth 500. The game could also use a classic Aston Martin like the DB6. Other than those, I would love to see another Subaru like the 22B STI and another Mazda, preferably a gen 1 or gen 2 RX7 (FC) or a Gen 2 Miata; both of those licenses are under-used with only one car each in the game, may as well get the most out of them since they are paying for it.

If there's one thing I'd like more than more vehicles to play with, it would have to be updated sounds for some cars such as the RX-7 and 458.

They always have a full 3 day limit. This qualifier ends at 5 am CT tomorrow.
It Normally would say 2 days that means it's 2 days+24 hours.

Next summit will probably 7 am CT Thursday to 5 pm Sunday.

Then it's the 18-21st.
Then late 21st-24th.
Final Summit starts on the 25th-31st.

I think it's every 3.5 days so the current event should close tonight? I would check the event timer in the lower left-hand corner of the main summit page when you get home. It will say exactly home much time is left.

Last night was my first VERY frustrating experience with the Summit. Realizing I only had until the end of the night to try and get gold was not a good time without crew members. I was down to 48 points away from getting gold. 48 points! However, since I did not have any crew members on, I was not able to complete the crew time attack or the FD Challenge. All I would have needed was at least 1 race of those but I had the game searching for over an hour and a half and it would not put me into a random crew. I just barely got into 1 PVP race before the end of the night. Frustration does not even begin to explain last night for me. 48 points from gold.

So this is a learning lesson for me. I will not even attempt gold unless one of my crew memebers is on so I can at least get one of the FD challenges or the crew challenge. Otherwise I will just work on getting silver for each event. Not worth the frustration of trying to get gold solo. Some of my cars simply are not leveled up high enough to be competitive yet.

Makes sense because the PS4 has sold, what 2x the amount of X1 systems. So I would expect there to be at least 2x the amount of PS4 players over X1 players.

That would explain why getting gold is easy and Platinum just takes a bit of luck and hopefully good cars.

Also getting really sick and tired of the same part different bonus on cars now. I am at like 30 some away from 1299 for Raid and it's still blah.
At lease I only have Street, Moster, Drift to max out then I am finally done.

(Zoe - On a dime - 5% braking.) (5 Perk Points)
(Omar - Like a Glove - 5% Handling) (5 points)
(Roxanne - Shifting Gears - 5% Accel) (5 points)
(Vincent - Redline - 5% Speed) (5 Points)

So a total of 2 Million Bucks or 40K CC to get all those. (If none are present)

As far as the join random crew thing on FD stunts, I usually abort that right away, you can still do the FD stunts by yourself without a crew. I don't ever do the CREW time attack events and I usually can pull a platinum or gold out of the summit. I was in 589th place in the summit with a gold medal last time I checked, I needed to reach 400th for a platinum medal, but I ended up playing Minecraft last night instead. I usually don't try terribly hard in the bi-weekly events until the monthly summit, then I definitely go for Platinum and get it every time. I wouldn't sweat it, at least you got a medal and that counts towards the 3 medals you need to get into the monthly summit.

The PS4 definitely has a lot more players, part of that reason is The Crew has less competition, no Forza Horizon 2 to compete with and Driveclub is not an open world game.

There should be another event up today (which closes on Sunday at 5pm your time), I'll be on tonight if you want to do the FD challenges together.

Yes as you can see by the pics above, I completed the FD stunts and placed 171 in the world. That was not the problem. It was the FD Challenges that it would not place me into a crew. So I could not get 1 single FD challenge completed. All I needed was 1 little race in there and I would have easily picked up my 48 points.

Also keep in mind most of your cars are in the 1,000 range. A lot of mine are still 500. So I have little to no chance to get gold solo. I will start working on leveling up my cars and I really need to improve my drifting.

And yes I would like to do some of the FD challenges for sure tonight or over the weekend. I have Friday off paid so I will be up late tonight and the whole weekend. Should have no problem at all getting gold for this next Summit event.

@CAMAROBOY69, we definitely need to level up your cars, you should have at least one vehicle in every spec that is over 1100 (except drift and Monster Truck, those don't matter so much in events), that will make you life much easier, you also need either a BRZ or a RX7 drift car, I used a drift skyline in the last event, it's a good car and I did fine with it, but still not nearly as good as my BRZ or RX7, I have not found a better drift car in this game yet, both of those just eat corners alive. I put up over 25,000 score in the last drift event without trying that hard, I maybe did the event 3 times; and I suck at drifting. Not that you can't put up numbers like with the skyline but I have a feeling it would be a little harder; some cars are better than others.

The street spec race kicked my butt. I used a 69 Camaro because it was my highest somewhere around 600 and just was no where near good enough for the Street event. I also kept having bad luck with traffic. Maybe I will try to increase my street hot rod and see if it handles better.

I agree I need to get some of these cars leveled up for sure. Also improve my drifting skills. I was only able to get 16,000 in that drift event after what I thought was a decent run. I tried about 10 times. I will also keep in mind to eventually get the RX7 for drifting if I cant improve with the Skyline. Yes some cars are for sure better than others in this games. I guess that's how it is in every racing game. So that does make sense.

Sometimes it's just like that, you think you put up a good run to the best of your abilities then BAM, you just crush it. We will definitely have to play with JD again soon, I had fun playing the drag events and MT events with you two, sounds like when the next update hits we will be able to try the crew time-attack event with 3 people (instead of the mandatory 4 players)

As far as leveling up goes with the new smart loot system, one of the skill events in the last summit, the Precision skill event to be exact, was very, very generous. That event was handing out platinum parts every time, I leveled up two circuit cars to well over 1200 very fast.

Still, yes, I do play The Crew, on XB1. I've had the game since June of last year - bought it on the Live Store with the Season Pass at less than 50 bucks. When I first played it I thought it was a pretty good game. I got the Wild Run expansion this Christmas, and it's mindless fun - really a must if you have this game, bikes, monster trucks, dragsters, drift cars, track editor, etc... Great expansion! Overall, I think this game reminds me a lot of The Fast and the Furious, which is in no way a bad thing in my book. If anybody wants to add me, my GT is NickRoss98.

Well I managed to get into Gold already in this run. Still would have FD Stunts to use if I need to.
Just that a few things I don't get is the 1 million in Las Vegas is annoying since I guess the money factor is different then what it says.

Now I am wondering since I keep getting paint, does it take for all cars or just the car you are in?

It seems to me the paint and stickers unlocks for every vehicle.

So if I keep winning them I should run out of those and just start earning bucks/extra parts.

Edit: Logged on this morning and I got bumped down to silver. Tried to better in the skills, until I found out that monster does better than raid. :/ So I guess at scrambles I do Monster than raid.

I did the summit already was gold, then silver, Now gold. Doing skills to past the time and to move forward with the Gotta Love Gold trophy. Only 200 more skills to do to get it.

Edit: I have been up to 30K with Ford Focus drift.

Still trying to level up my Street car to max, then Probably either Drift/Monster.

Edit2: Really annoyed that I need like 1 more location in the south somewhere and possibly 2 more in the mountains. Would be so much easier with those gone.

I ended up 5th place in the world for the FD Stunts over the weekeend!! I also now have 6 cars over level 1,000. @DDastardly00 helped me with a few club events including FD challenges. I got over 30,000 points with the monster truck. Worked out really well because I ended up with platinum for the Summit that ended on Sunday the 17th. I did not check my reward yet. I will check that tonight and start working on the next Summit events.

I forgot to mention, my previous summit reward was 20% bonus on all exp and money for 3 days. I greatly took advantage of that over the weekend.

Looks like Wednesday will be update day. Then can move forward on more of preparing for the actual summit.
Just for Gold in Monthly with all qualifiers with a medal would net a +30 to a +50 on car/bike = 80% Winning for Gold.
Still 100% for Platinum. (No you don't get the +30 added to it)

This latest run of the summit was a bit either easier or everyone doesn't really care for it. Got platinum ranking in the skills, and Drift. Was briefly into Platinum ranking last night. I can safely say I do have at lease gold in the end of this run.

Also for Precision skills, Car = Fail. Bike = Success.

Collected my reward last night from the previous platinum summit. It was 5,000 CC. Not sure how much that is worth in game money but I would guess a least $300,000.

Started the new summit and only had time to make 1 low point run with the monster truck. I will put more effort into this Summit tonight and tomorrow.
