Looks like I got to keep grinding.
The way I do it is that I don't do summit events right away. Since the first few days there are not too many people doing them so most likely your score would be lower than what it could be.
Although you can set a good time/score and it might hold throughout the summit events.
I normally do a run on Wednesday, then again on Saturday, if I feel good enough on Saturday I don't play on Sunday. If I don't then I will do a bit then.
