Incredible thread - love that Lexus @Stakado

My experiences with the Gr.4 Supra along with this thread have inspired me to try my hand at a custom Gr.4 car of my own.

Much of the current content lends itself to this sort of power and PP so I can't wait to get stuck in. I'm no good with the liveries ha ha - yours are absolutely insane. Amazing work.

Very fast in corners, good stability, buy a lack of top speed and fuel economy, very useful car otherwise

This little thing is fast, very fast. Also, good fuel economy and top speed, and a pretty good sound

Very fun to drive, a little happy, but is fast. Not as good in fuel economy, but she can beat any car

Hey, that's what racing leagues do in general. I'd say go for it.

Since this thread is up, I thought I'd post a legitimate GT4 / Gr4 car I'm running around LeMans, currently at 699PP to give me a good chance of a fast victory. I need credits of course. When I want to enjoy the race I'll bring it to where I've detuned it to proper Gr4 levels as in my setting sheet. This is the current livery, next to a GT3 sibling with deep blue paint. They could stand to be a little more different, but this will do for now.

Here are the setting sheets.

I seem to be tweaking endlessly. ;)
This car is great for Le Mans! It's my first choice too. Pretty much a 100% win unless I'm driving without much attention (or badly on purpose). Getting upwards to 180mph on the straights means the AI can't touch you.

The F430 is my favourite ferrari, and is one of the fastest cars when is properly tuned

Well, in races with no fuel consumption, this a winner, very fast at corners, very stable, none oversteer or understeer...but, it has a very bad fuel economy (can´t do 2 laps in lemans wtc700 with FM2 or 3 with FM6) and have a low top speed. you can win lemans in easy, but not in normal

One of the great absences in GR4 can now be fixed.
This car can be defined with one word, GRIP. Go as fast as you want, the car will stick to the road no matter what you do.
It also has decent fuel economy and a good top speed.

This car has been quite a surprise. Before version 1.13, he was a bit difficult to control, with a lot of oversteer, but now he is meek as a puppy, but fierce as a tiger.
He is fast, very fast, he can take Porsche curves at 180/200kmh, but he can also do 3 laps in Lemans WTC700 on FM4.
Easy win on normal difficulty.

I too love the F430, but my only gripe with it, and it's minor, is that it can never really be lowered. It always sits so high.

It's one of the few cars I've bought twice in game, one to modify and one to keep nice and stock. Lovely thing.

Impressive!
Maybe tomorrow I'll help you with the handling. I am working in the same car and is literally on rails. And have a great top speed and good fuel economy
Cool man! Thanks - appreciate it.

I think MR cars (RR even worse) are just generally a bit more twitchy.

Superb driving experience, she is literaly on rails, but you can push it to the limit without problem and she is going to eat the rivals and respond well.
Great top speed and fuel consumption, and, if you have a home theater, your neibourgs will love you, this sound great

I think I found a new favorite toy!! It's my third best at Deep Forest in my rankings (it's my test track for this class :D), sitting at 641PP right now but with room to improve! Did it yesterday and went straight to multiplayer lobby, entered a 700PP race with mostly detuned Gr.3 cars and one odd 698PP M4 and even though it was faster than me on straights it had nothing on me on the curves.

You have conflicting sponsors. 😉

Thanks!

 TBF it's my second full livery done by me and I don't exactly know what the correct sponsors are, even using Google lol. Can you kindly point to me which ones to change?
Bridgestone and Advan (Yokohama) are both tyre manufacturers, both are featured in your livery. Although, looks like you're running Advan rims so could get away with that.

Konig make rims too but looks like you're running Advans.

They are indeed Yokohama's Advan Racing GT Beyond, but thanks for the clarification! Still learning on this liveries and sponsors matching.

Back in my Forza days a half a lifetime ago, it seems, I made a sponsor sheet in .rtf that I still have and use today. I listed manufacturers and what they made, and then a master list of components and what manufacturers made them, as well as cars they fit on, so I could see it from both angles.

Hmm... need racing brakes for a Supra? Who makes those...?

It's a worthwhile idea.

I do the same thing; except I don't have a spreadsheet. I just look them up online when I need to.

My memory has been slipping lately. I meant to do a car / components list and started to, but scrapped the idea and relied on the intranets like you do for specific makes. Oh well, whatever is pragmatical. ;)

Can't remember which one, but i am 100% sure i've seen a car running Michelin AND Falken decals at recent 24h Nurburgring...

Oh really? Interesting...

I'm not against it - I can't even create a livery, so more power to the original guy for making a great livery in the first place. Was just clarifying what the potential conflicting sponsors were! :)
