So now that the only way to make money, is the AFK script, can someone give me a hint, how to make it work? I set up everything according to instructions, run the script.....aaand nothing happens. :(

Edit: Never mind...Instructions just do not say, the script needs to be run as admin.
Edit2: Actually the script does one race and then it stops. :banghead:
No, no, no, 1.65 million per hour with two 30 minute races at Le Mans, 700pp, easy race, gentle curves, just have to worry about the rain coming at end of lap two.

AFK scripts are not racing.

Hello. So what is your : car , setting ang strategy for the le mans 39 minutes? Thank you 😄🤔

Yes, but "racing" does not pay for competitive cars and tuning. On monday I spent a milion and an afternoon trying to win the high paying races and came out 0 per hour and 0 usable cars and strategy.

The only safe race I have is Sardegna with Lamborghini VGT, map 6 and 2 stops (fuel only, no tire change). Don't have the 2J.

I wouldn't call "chasing the rabbit"=racing. More like driving. The real driving simulator xD. The only racing in this game is in sport mode but it isn't profitable.

Also Tokyo is still better. ~27 minutes for 825k.

Can you recommend a competitive car and tune that is not 2J?
You can check NSX 17 and Nissan GT-R 17 by praiano. They are great. I attached pictures with Ferrari Enzo (my favourite, super fun to drive). It is morsemonkey tune but I added more POWER and hard tires instead mediums. I shift at 8200. All of them are capable of 27 minutes time. I finish constantly 27 minutes and 10-20 seconds. Just don't get penalties.

Thanks, I'll test that next. That NSX 17 tune is absolute garbage. I guess the suspension is crippled on purpose to fit into 600 PP, but it drives like a water bed.

Suspension is high in praiano's tunes for Tokyo because it reduces PP. You can lower it but you will have to change ECU or restrict power.

Hi Everyone ...

After Reading a Lot of your Coverstation I'd Like to step in ...

The Problem you are discussing ist Originating from the different Players that come in to Play GT7.

Those Players Here for competition won't have a big Problem With the quite small payouts. After playing a Bit With the Cafe Missions you will probably have already too much Cars you likel, will never use. Because they are too weak in competions. You geht the top3 of each category and some Tuning and thats it. You face another Problem - you pay With buying the Game die all the Others Cars you never use.

And then there are the Casual After Work drivers. I Count myself to bei one of Thema. We Play mostly against the Game, a Fee Friends and ourself. And Part of thus is to get also a Lot of the Cars. The grinding was Always a Part of the Game, that isn't the only Point. But if you want to make Money and Not using mtx - you can Drive around 3 to 4 races and 3 of them With the Same Rally Car. In the previous GTs you could choose between 10-20 Races, Championships and so on - and you Made noticeable Progress.

Now you have only a smaller Number of Races and you don't really See a big Progress. And some payouts are really ridiculous - you Neef a Car For 350k, some aerodynamics, some Tires and then you get 55k Back after 20 Minutes. In another Race - you Take a stock 50k used Car and win 60k in 12 minutes.

So - what doesn't Matter for one - can bei frustrating for Others.

In previous Gran turismo (GT sport) there wasn't something like hagerty that you have to wait few months for some car rotation. So you were able to buy a car you want whenever you want it.

Sport mode players are minority. Check achievement% for 50 sport mode races.

On Tokyo, the Gr4 Huracan is pretty good. I'm finishing in about 27 minutes. I use Sport Soft tires. Even on FM1, you don't have to pit, but you MIGHT have to switch to FM2 for a lap, or just do some other minor fuel saving measure.

I'm having fun with Le Mans, every race is different because rain isn't always the same. Sometimes it doesn't even reach the track, others is intense, others is very scattered. You have to make the right decision about tyres all the time. Granted, it's not hard to outsmart the AI, they make really silly decisions, but it's still fun, and sometimes I made a mistake and had to figure out how to revert the situation.

With the Subaru WRX is very doable, no need to save fuel but I also did it sometimes.

I like this race a lot. I start off on fuel map 3, stop once, go to 6, bring it home. I hardly go to inters at all anymore. Only if it looks like I'll be running into a bunch of blue spots(heavy rain) on the radar, rather than green. Otherwise RH's for the win.

Hello. So what is your : car , setting ang strategy for the le mans 39 minutes? Thank you 😄🤔
I will send you settings and strategy for each car I use.
CLK-LM. (Good on fuel)
787B. (Great on fuel)
RED BULL JUNIOR. (Good on fuel)
MITSUBISHI GTO
917 LIVING LEGEND
Almost all of the Gr.B can do it
All Gr.3 can do it with detuning

Basic strategy is this,
you need RH and W tyres
At start of race watch FM, you will need to do three laps before pitting, usually for tyres as it usually starts to rain during at end of 2nd lap and into third.
I usually run FM1 until I pass the lead then I back it down to 3 or more as different cars will drink gas
Watching the weather map at max distance I can guess if I can push my car for a 4th lap on RH before it gets too wet on the track. (Sometimes you may even get a race where there is little to no rain at all)
When the wet meter gets half full you need to get the wet tyres on, top off with fuel, and if needed later in race pit for RH to finish (this is optional)
My pit schedule is usually after 3rd lap and after 6th lap.
Max laps is 7 for 30 minutes
Let me know what car you need settings for

Hi Neris,

Hagerty ist some Special Thing. I don't Inderstand the Reason, why a Few Cars in the Game Need to Change their values, when this is probably their only reason to be Special in the Game.

It nicht bei their Number ist smaller as Others, but they are very loud in their Arguments. I understand their Arguments, but their Arguments and Motivations are Not necessary Mine ;)

can I get the settings for the 917 ?

I made my own. Lose the customizable suspension, sport is enough, also stock turbo and hard tires. I ended up around 1480 kg and 520 HP. Won the Tokyo race with map 1 and one stop.
Also standard Nissan Gr.4 Car with turbo, gearbox and SH tyres no stops should be easy win even in hard difficulty.
Will look into it, thanks. :)

I won it yesterday with the Living Legend. But it needs to pit for fuel every 2 laps, even on map 6. Just threw on IMs and it was wet enough until end of the race.
Just don't like the pits. Takes forever to reach and AI pitting after you taking full tank and new tires comes out before you even start to fuel. This game is totally nuts.

For anyone...this is for 30 min race at LeMans

Strategy with this car it's easy, start with RH tyres, set FM to 1 (no need for fuel until lap 5/6) and then watch the weather radar max distance at the last part of lap 2 so you can have a good idea what to expect for rain in lap 3, everyone laps at end of lap 3 so you can hold out from changing tyres until then, if you have good weather you should be able to do the whole race in RH tyres, if the wet meter gets more than half its best to change to WET tyres. By the time you do need fuel it should be around lap 5 or 6 and you would only need about 2 laps more fuel, the 30 minutes will end halfway thru lap 7, you should have a good enough lead by the end.

Thanks for the info/setup. I'll keep this in mind/write it down on a piece of paper for when I'm ready.

Single player isn't racing either and multiplayer barely pays anything.

Let me ask you this, are you in that event because you enjoy it that much, or are you in that event for the pay off? If it's for the pay (and that's the topic of this thread), then you aren't racing anyway. You are grinding.

According to Kazunori Yamauchi, it's because he wanted players to truly appreciate what these cars are worth, just like in the real world. While I sort of understand what he means, it's a game, it's not the real world.
If I made enough money to somehow buy the F1 and then blew all my credits away, I doubt I would feel like "OMFG I own a McLaren F1" It would be major annoyance mixed with relief.

Kaz is an outright liar at worst or an incompetent game director at best.

Appreciate their worth... Puh-lease

Make them the prize for completing a six hour race, or an eight hour, or even a 24 hour race...Or, make them the prize for a set number of Sport Mode races.... Etc, etc..

Tying them to true achievements is how you give them value in the game. THEN they would be appreciated as evidence that you committed to an event and won.

As it stands, it's evidence that you either squandered your money and bought credits, squandered your time on grinding, or you are farming.

It's sad because the cars themselves are fun to drive and play with.

He is a liar... Everything about this game is about wiping out your credits and pushing you towards buying more.
